| 1 | First results from a 760-GW linear transformer driver module for Z-pinch research显示文摘In this paper,the results of tests on a 0.76-TW linear transformer driver(LTD)module for Z-pinch research are presented for the first time.Ten LTD cavities,each generating a 1-MA/90-kV pulse on a matched load,were connected in series with a magnetically insulated voltage adder to drive the e-beam diode.Three inner stalks with different radii were tested,and the results indicate that the output parameters of the ten cavities are sensitive to the cathode radii.As an intermediate step,a high-current pulse with 832 kV/912 kA/130 ns was obtained on the e-beam diode.To date,this is the maximum power generated directly by a fast LTD with mega-ampere current output. | Lin Chen Wenkang Zou Jihao Jiang Liangji Zhou Bing Wei Fan Guo An He Weiping Xie Jianjun Deng Meng Wang Jie Wang Yuanjun Zhang | 2021 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2021,6,4: | 1 |

| 3 | Design and implementation of a coal-dust removal device for heavy-haul railway tunnels显示文摘The Daqin Railway is China’s first electrified double-track heavy-haul railway line dedicated to coal transportation.Over the years of operation,the tunnels have been covered with a thick layer of coal dust,which also pervades in the air.Worse is that the coal dust has even buried the rail joints in some sections,making the repair and maintenance of the line difficult.This paper introduces a coal-dust removal device for railway tunnels that integrates pipeline transportation with dust-collection techniques.The device is mainly composed of a power system,a conveying system,a dust-filtration and collection system,and a control and protection system.The key technical elements of the system,such as the dust-extraction method and dust-filtration and collection parameters,are optimized based on the characteristics of the coal dust in the tunnel(obtained via field trials),which greatly enhances the adaptability of the device.Coal-dust removal efficiency reached over 20 t/h,which improves the working environment,reduces the intensity of manual work required and solves the problem of coal-dust removal from the most polluted area—within 500 m of the tunnel entrance. | Yuanjun Li Zhigang Meng | 2020 | Transportation Safety and Environment2020,2,4: | 1 |
| 4 | Full sexual maturity-cycle exposure to environmentally relevant concentrations of 17β-estradiol decreases reproductive capacity of zebrafish显示文摘17β-Estradiol(E2)has been widely detected in natural water and treatment with E2 induces potential endocrine disrupting effects in fish.However,effects on fish fecundity and steroid system after treatment with environmentally relevant concentrations of E2 for the full sexual maturation cycle remain unclear.In this study,zebrafish were treatment with 0,10 or100 ng/L E2 from embryo to adult stage,and effects on gonadal development and differentiation,steroid hormone levels,transcription of genes associated with the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal-liver(HPG)axis in adults and fertilization rate of offspring were assessed.The results showed that treatment with E2 lead to increased number of feminization in zebrafish.In females,E2 decreased cumulative amount of spawning and inhibited the maturation of oocyte.In males,E2 inhibited the maturation and motility of sperm,as well as decreased the movement speed of sperm.These adverse effects on sperm might be responsible for the reduced fertilization observed in offspring.In addition,treatment with E2 changed the levels of steroid hormones in zebrafish gonad and altered the transcriptional levels of genes associated with HPG axis,which is responsible for the regulation of germ cells maturation and gonadal development in zebrafish.Overall,these results suggested that treatment with environmentally relevant concentrations of E2 for the full sexual maturity cycle resulted in adverse effects on reproduction in zebrafish. | Yongkang Zhang Yuanjun Jiang Qian Sun Meng Li Sheng Chen Jingyu Liang Chunsheng Liu | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 0 |
