1Characterization and Evaluation of OsLCT1 and OsN ramp5 Mutants Generated Through CRISPR/Cas9-Mediated Mutagenesis for Breeding Low Cd Rice显示文摘To explore how rice(Oryza sativa L.) can be safely produced in Cd-polluted soil, OsLCT1 and OsNramp5 mutant lines were generated by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutagenesis. One of OsLCT1 mutant(lct1×1) and two of OsNramp5 mutants(nramp5×7 and nramp5×9) were evaluated for grain Cd accumulation and agronomic performances. In paddy field soil containing approximately 0.9 mg/kg Cd, lct1×1 grains contained approximately 40%(0.17 mg/kg) of the Cd concentration of the wild type parental line, less than the China National Food Safety Standard(0.20 mg/kg). Both OsNramp5 mutants showed low grain Cd accumulation(< 0.06 mg/kg) in the paddy(approximately 0.9 mg/kg Cd) or in pots in soil spiked with 2 mg/kg Cd. However, only nramp5×7 showed normal growth and yield, whereas the growth of nramp5×9 was severely impaired. 2Brain structure in diving players on MR imaging studied with voxel-based morphometry显示文摘We adopted professional diving players as a typical subject pool to explore whether structural brain differences relative to motor skill acquisition exist between highly skilled athletes and non-athletes.Based on the voxel-based morphometric(VBM) technique,structural MRIs of the brains of 12 elite diving players with professional training were analyzed and compared with those of control subjects without any professional physical training.Diving players showed significantly increased gray matter density in the thalamus and left pre-central gyrus than control subjects.However,future researches are needed to prove the contribution of preposition and practice.It also suggests that athletes as the subject pool could form a new subject pool to explore plastic change induced by motor skill acquisition.Gaoxia Wei Jing Luo Youfa Li 2009Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2009,19,10:11

5Construction of multiwavelets with high approximation order and symmetry显示文摘In this paper, based on existing symmetric multiwavelets, we give an explicit algorithm for constructing multiwavelets with high approximation order and symmetry. Concretely, suppose Φ(x) := (φ1(x), . . . , φr(x))T is a symmetric refinable function vectors with approximation order m. For an arbitrary nonnegative integer n, a new symmetric refinable function vector Φnew(x) := (φn1 ew(x), . . . , φrn ew(x))T with approximation order m + n can be constructed through the algorithm mentioned above. Additionally, we reveal the relation between Φ(x) and Φnew(x). 6Comparison of nutrition education policies and programs for children in China and other selected developed countries显示文摘A double burden of overweight/obesity and malnutrition during childhood is a major concern in China.Dietary intakes in this critical period affect children’s physical and cognitive development,and also have health consequences in later life.Therefore,establishing healthy eating habits that will endure is crucial for children.Nutrition education is an effective way in improving nutrition knowledge and attitudes,and healthy eating behaviors.Diverse forms of nutrition improvement programs that targeting children,family,teachers,and school settings have been conducted in many developed countries.However,due to the differences of genetic background,household environment as well as dietary patterns between Chinese children and children from other countries,the existing nutrition education programs for children abroad might not be appropriate for children in China.Thus,nutrition education programs that consider Chinese nutrition-related policies and food supply as well as the local educational resources are required for Chinese children.This review summarized nutrition-related policies and legislations in China and developed countries.A series of evidence-based nutrition education programs that combined educational strategies and environmental supports conducted in the Southwest China Childhood Nutrition and Growth Study were presented.These programs can serve as example models for adopting nutrition interventions to improve nutrition and health status of children in different regions of China.Guo Cheng Fan Yang Fei Xiong Li Zhao Lishi Zhang Youfa Wang 2020Global Health Journal2020,4,3:1

13Shannon-type sampling for multivariate non-bandlimited signals显示文摘In this paper, starting from a function analytic in a neighborhood of the unit disk and based on Bessel functions, we construct a family of generalized multivariate sinc functions, which are radial and named radial Bessel-sinc (RBS) functions being time-frequency atoms with nonlinear phase. We obtain a recursive formula for the RBS functions in R d with d being odd. Based on the RBS function, a corresponding sampling theorem for a class of non-bandlimited signals is established. 15A comparison study of prevalence,awareness,treatment and control rates of hypertension and associated factors among adults in China and the United States based on national survey data显示文摘Objective:This study compared the prevalence,awareness,treatment and control of hypertension and associated factors in China and the United States(US).Methods:Adult data from nationally representative samples were derived from the Chronic Disease and Risk Factors Surveillance in 2010 and 2013 in China and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2010 and 2013 in the US.Multivariable logistic and Poisson regression analysis were conducted to assess associations of the four outcomes with body weight status and behavioral factors.Results:Age-standardized prevalence rates of hypertension was 35.7%(95%confidence interval[CI]:35.4%to 36.1%)in 2010 and 29.8%(95%CI:29.4%to 30.2%)in 2013 in China,and 35.3%(95%CI:33.6%to 37.1%)in 2010 and 37.9%(95%CI:36.0%to 39.7%)in 2013 in the US.Among hypertensive participants,the age-standardized rates of treatment were 18.4%(95%CI:17.9%to 1&9%)in 2010 and 23.8%(95%CI:23.1%to 24.6%)in 2013 in China and 54.5%(95%CI:50.3%to 5&7%)in 2010 and 50.9%(95%CI:46.5%to 55.3%)in 2013 in the US;the age-standardized hypertension control rates were 3.2%(95%CI:3.0%to 3.5%)and 5.7%(95%CI:5.3%to 6.0%)in 2010 and 2013 in China and 50.6%(95%CI:46.2%to 55.0%)and 55.3%(95%CI:50.3%to 60.3%)in the US.Obesity was significantly associated with prevalence,awareness and control rates in both countries.Different from the US,obesity was negatively associated with hypertension control in China.Conclusion:Hypertension prevalence in China is similar to that in the US,but the control rate in China was significantly lower.Obesity was a critical risk factor for poor hypertension control in China.Xiaomin Sun Xinguang Chen Zumin Shi Alice Fang Yan Zhongying Li Shiqi Chen Bingtong Zhao Wen Peng Xi Li Mei Zhang Limin Wang Jing Wu Youfa Wang 2023Global Health Journal2023,7,1:0

17Multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces显示文摘This paper is to establish the multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces. Sampling theorem plays a very important role in digital signal communication. The most classical sampling theorem is Shannon sampling theorem, which works for bandlimited signals. Recently, sampling theorems in wavelets or multiwavelets subspaces are extensively studied in the literature. In this paper, we firstly propose the concept of dual multiwavelet frames in dual Sobolev spaces (H s (R) , H-s (R)). Then we construct a special class of dual multiwavelet frames, from which the multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces is obtained. That is, for any f ∈ H s (R) with s > 1/2, it can be exactly recovered by its samples.
