| 2 | Role of nitric oxide in the genotoxic response to chronic microcystin-LR exposure in human–hamster hybrid cells显示文摘Microcystin-LR(MC-LR) is the most abundant and toxic microcystin congener and has been classified as a potential human carcinogen(Group 2B) by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. However, the mechanisms underlying the genotoxic effects of MC-LR during chronic exposure are still poorly understood. In the present study, human–hamster hybrid(AL) cells were exposed to MC-LR for varying lengths of time to investigate the role of nitrogen radicals in MC-LR-induced genotoxicity. The mutagenic potential at the CD59 locus was more than 2-fold higher(p < 0.01) in ALcells exposed to a cytotoxic concentration(1 μmol/L) of MC-LR for 30 days than in untreated control cells, which was consistent with the formation of micronucleus. MC-LR caused a dose-dependent increase in nitric oxide(NO) production in treated cells. Moreover, this was blocked by concurrent treatment with the NO synthase inhibitor NG-methyl-L-arginine(L-NMMA), which suppressed MC-LRinduced mutations as well. The survival of mitochondrial DNA-depleted(ρ0) ALcells was markedly decreased by MC-LR treatment compared to that in ALcells, while the CD59 mutant fraction was unaltered. | 4 | Towards win-win: weighted-Voronoi-diagram based channel quantization for security enhancement in downlink cloud-RAN with limited CSI feedback显示文摘Physical layer(PHY) security is recently proved to enable improving the security of wireless communication networks. In downlink frequency division duplex(FDD) cloud radio access network(C-RAN), the performance of PHY security highly relies on the channel state information(CSI) which is usually acquired through the codebook-quantization-based technique at the transceiver. However, the conventional quantization method aggravates the leakage of privacy information in C-RAN under the eavesdropping environment. In this paper, a novel channel quantization method is investigated to improve the secrecy-rate performance of C-RAN by exploiting the high-dimension space geometry. Based on this method, it is proved that when the statistical distribution of the channel matrices of both the legitimate user and the eavesdropper is exploited, a win-win situation can be created where secrecy-rate gains are improved without sacrificing beamforming gains from the point of view of ergodic rate. Particularly, a secrecy-oriented criterion is devised to implement the proposed method for generating codebooks. Then a weighted Voronoi diagram(WVD) is formulated on the complex Grassmann manifold and finally, a vector quantization based algorithm is proposed to build up novel quantization codebooks iteratively. | 6 | Coupling Co_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) nanocubes with reduced graphene oxide for high-rate and long-cycle-life potassium storage显示文摘As one of prussian blue analogues,Co_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) has been explored as a promising anode material for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs) owing to its high potassium storage capacity.Unfortunately,Co_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) possesses low electronic conductivity and its structure collapses easily during potassiation and depotassiation,resulting in poor rate performance and cyclic stability.To solve these problems,we develop a facile multi-step method to successfully combine uniformCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) nanocubes with rGO by C-O-Co bonds.As expected,these chemcial bonds shorten the distance betweenCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) and rGO to the angstrom meter level,which significantly improve the electronic conductivity ofCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2).Besides,the complete encapsulation ofCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) nanocubes by rGO endows the structure ofCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) with high stability,thus withstanding repeated insertion/extraction of potassium-ions without visible morphological and structural changes.Benefiting from the abovementioned structural advantages,the CO3 [Co(CN)6]2/rGO nanocomposite exhibits a high reversible capacity of 400.8 mAh g^(-1) at a current density of 0.1 A g^(-1),an exceptional rate capability of 115.5 mAh g^(-1) at 5 A g^(-1), and an ultralong cycle life of 231.9 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) after 1000 cycles.Additionally,the effects of different amounts of rGO and different sizes ofCo_(3)[Co(CN)_(6)]_(2) nanocubes on the potassium storage performance are also studied.This work offers an ideal route to significantly enhance the electrochemical properties of prussian blue analogues. | Yifan Xu Yichen Du Zuyue Yi Zhuangzhuang Zhang Chenling Lai Jiaying Liao Xiaosi Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 1 |

| 8 | UAV search-and-rescue planning using an adaptive memetic algorithm显示文摘The use of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) is becoming more commonplace in search-and-rescue tasks,but UAV search planning can be very complex due to limited response time, large search area, and multiple candidate search modes. In this paper, we present a UAV search planning problem where the search area is divided into a set of subareas and each subarea has a prior probability that the target is present in it. The problem aims to determine the search sequence of the subareas and the search mode for each subarea to maximize the probability of finding the target. We propose an adaptive memetic algorithm that combines a genetic algorithm with a set of local search procedures and dynamically determines which procedure to apply based on the past performance of the procedures measured in fitness improvement and diversity improvement during problem-solving. | 14 | High-resolution anatomical and spatial transcriptome analyses reveal two types of meristematic cell pools within the secondary vascular tissue of poplar stem显示文摘The secondary vascular tissue emanating from meristems is central to understanding how vascular plants such as forest trees evolve,grow,and regulate secondary radial growth.However,the overall molecular characterization of meristem origins and developmental trajectories from primary to secondary vascular tissues in woody tree stems is technically challenging.In this study,we combined high-resolution anatomic analysis with a spatial transcriptome(ST)technique to define features of meristematic cells in a developmental gradient from primary to secondary vascular tissues in poplar stems.The tissue-specific gene expression of meristems and derived vascular tissue types were accordingly mapped to specific anatomical domains.Pseudotime analyses were used to track the origins and changes of meristems throughout the development from primary to secondary vascular tissues.Surprisingly,two types of meristematic-like cell pools within secondary vascular tissues were inferred based on high-resolution microscopy combined with ST,and the results were confirmed by in situ hybridization of,transgenic trees,and single-cell sequencing.The rectangle shape procambium-like(PCL)cells develop from procambium meristematic cells and are located within the phloem domain to produce phloem cells,whereas fusiform shape cambium zone(CZ)meristematic cells develop from fusiform metacambium meristematic cells and are located inside the CZ to produce xylem cells.The gene expression atlas and transcriptional networks spanning the primary transition to secondary vascular tissues generated in this work provide new resources for studying the regulation of meristem activities and the evolution of vascular plants.A web server(http://gffzza1d164964eba4dabs5k6kc6ofqpv56qko.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/stRNAPal/)was also established to facilitate the use of ST RNA-seq data. | Juan Du Yichen Wang Wenfan Chen Mingling Xu Ruhong Zhou Huixia Shou Jun Chen | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,5: | 0 |
