| 1 | Dynamic changes in soil chemical properties and microbial community structure in response to different nitrogen fertilizers in an acidified celery soil显示文摘To determine the effects of different kinds of nitrogen fertilizer,especially high-efficiency slowrelease fertilizers,on soil pH,nitrogen(N)and microbial community structures in an acidic celery soil,four treatments(CK,no N fertilizer;NR,urea;PE,calcium cyanamide fertilizer;and SK,controlled-release N fertilizer)were applied,and soil pH,total soil N,inorganic N,and soil microbial biomass C were analyzed.Phospholipid fatty acids(PLFAs)were extracted and detected using the MIDI Sherlock microbial identification system.The PE treatment significantly improved soil pH,from 4.80 to>6.00,during the whole growth period of the celery,and resulted in the highest celery yield among the four treatments.After 14 d application of calcium cyanamide,the soil nitrate content significantly decreased,but the ammonium content significantly increased.The PE treatment also significantly increased soil microbial biomass C during the whole celery growth period.Canonical variate analysis of the PLFA data indicated that the soil microbial community structure in the CK treatment was significantly different from those in the N applied treatments after 49 d fertilization.However,there was a significant difference(P<0.05)in soil microbial community structure between the PE treatment and the other three treatments at the end of the experiment.Calcium cyanamide is a good choice for farmers to use on acidic celery land because it supplies sufficient N,and increases soil pH,microbial biomass and the yield of celery. | Yuping Wu Jiangxing Wu Yongjun Ma Ying Lian Hui Sun Danchao Xie Yaying Li Philip C.Brookes Huaiying Yao | 2019 | Soil Ecology Letters2019,1,3: | 7 |

| 6 | Shadow–highlight feature matching automatic small crater recognition using high-resolution digital orthophoto map from Chang’E Missions显示文摘This paper introduces a new method of small lunar craters’ automatic identification, using digital orthophoto map(DOM) data. The core of the approach is the fact that the lunar exploration DOM data reveal contrasting highlight and shadow characteristics of small craters under sunlight irradiation. This research effort combines image processing and mathematical modeling. Overall it proposes a new planetary data processing approach, to segment and extract the highlight and shadow regions of small craters,using the image gray frequency(IGF) statistical method.IGF can also be applied to identify the coupling relationships between small craters’ shape and their relative features. This paper presents the highlight and shadow pair matching(HSPM) model which manages to perform highprecision automatic recognition of small lunar craters.Testing was performed using the DOM data of Chang’E-2(CE-2). The results have shown that the proposed method has a high level of successful detection rate. The proposed methodology that uses DOM data can complement the drawbacks of the digital elevation model(DEM) that has a relatively high false detection rate. A hybrid fusion model(FUM) that combines both DOM and DEM data, was carried out to simultaneously identify small, medium, and large-sized craters. | 17 | New dual functional CYP450 gene involves in isoflavone biosynthesis in Glycine max L.显示文摘Glycine max L.accumulates a large amount of isoflavonoid compounds,which is beneficial for plant defense,plant-microbe symbiotic interactions,and human health.Several CYP450 subfamily genes are involved in the flavonoid biosynthetic pathway in plants.In the present study,we found 24 CYP82 subfamily genes were differentially expressed in various tissues of soybean,in Phytophthora sojae-infected soybean varieties and in soybean hairy roots treated with cell wall glucan elicitor.Six of them(GmCYP82A2,GmCYP82A3,GmCYP82A4,GmCYP82A23,GmCYP82C20 and GmCYP82D26)were co-expressed with other known isoflavonoid pathway genes in soybean.Their enzymatic activity in yeast feeding assays showed that only GmCYP82D26 was able to convert naringenin to daidzein with both aryl migration and dehydration function.When GmCYP82D26 was over-expressed in soybean hairy roots,the contents of the two major isoflavonoid aglycones in soybean(daidzein and genistein)were reduced,but total flavonoids were not affected.When GmCYP82D26 was suppressed by RNAi in the hairy roots,daidzein content was decreased but genistein content was increased,with unchanged total flavonoid content.GmCYP82D26 was found to be localized in the endoplasmic reticulum at subcellular level when transiently expressed in tobacco leaf epidermis.GmCYP82D26 gene was preferentially expressed in roots,with low expression level in other tissues in soybean.Homology modeling and molecular docking showed that GmCYP82D26 could form hydrogen bond with both HEM and naringenin at C5-OH and C4 carbonyl.All these results indicated that GmCYP82D26 possesses new and dual enzymatic activity,which bridges the two branches(daidzein and genistein branch)of isoflavonoid pathway in soybean. | Yaying Xia Chunfeng He Su Yan Jinyue Liu Haijun Huang Xue Li Qian Su Wenbo Jiang Yongzhen Pang | 2023 | Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Main environmental drivers of abundance,diversity and community structure of comammox Nitrospira in paddy soils显示文摘The recently discovered complete ammonia oxidizers comammox Nitrospira contain clades A and B that can establish an independent one-step nitrification process;however,little is known about their environmental drivers or habitat distributions in agricultural soils.Previous studies on comammox Nitrospira in paddy soils have mainly focused on small-scale samples,and there is a lack of multisite research on comammox Nitrospira in paddy soils.In this study,we conducted a survey of 36 paddy soils to understand the community structure,abundance,and diversity of comammox Nitrospira and the degree to which they are affected by environmental factors at a large scale.Comammox Nitrospira were found to be widely distributed among the paddy soils.The abundance of comammox Nitrospira clade A was mostly lower than that of clade B,whereas its diversity was mostly higher than that of clade B.Correlation analysis showed that multiple factors affected(P<0.05)the abundance of comammox Nitrospira,including soil pH,organic matter,total carbon,and total nitrogen,latitude,mean annual temperature,and mean annual precipitation.Moreover,there was a clear relationship between the comammox Nitrospira community and habitat,indicating that some amplicon sequence variants(ASVs)had a unique dominant position in specific habitats.Phylogenetic analysis showed that the ASVs of comammox Nitrospira clade A clustered with the known sequences in the paddy soils and were significantly different from the known sequences in other habitats,which may be related to the unique paddy field habitat.In contrast,comammox Nitrospira clade B showed no clear habitat dependence.These results support the wide distribution and high abundance of comammox Nitrospira in paddy soils and provide novel insights into nitrogen cycling and nutrient management in agricultural ecosystems. | Fuyun GAO Yaying LI Haoxin FAN Jiantao XUE Huaiying YAO | 2023 | Pedosphere2023,33,5: | 0 |
