1The cGAS-STING signaling in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases: Future novel target option for pharmacotherapy显示文摘The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase(cGAS)-stimulator of interferon genes(STING) signaling exert essential regulatory function in microbial-and onco-immunology through the induction of cytokines, primarily type I interferons. Recently, the aberrant and deranged signaling of the cGAS-STING axis is closely implicated in multiple sterile inflammatory diseases, including heart failure,myocardial infarction, cardiac hypertrophy, nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases, aortic aneurysm and dissection, obesity, etc. This is because of the massive loads of damage-associated molecular patterns(mitochondrial DNA, DNA in extracellular vesicles) liberated from recurrent injury to metabolic cellular organelles and tissues, which are sensed by the pathway. Also, the cGAS-STING pathway crosstalk with essential intracellular homeostasis processes like apoptosis, autophagy, and regulate cellular metabolism.Targeting derailed STING signaling has become necessary for chronic inflammatory diseases. Meanwhile, excessive type I interferons signaling impact on cardiovascular and metabolic health remain entirely elusive. In this review, we summarize the intimate connection between the cGAS-STING pathway and cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. We also discuss some potential small molecule inhibitors for the pathway. 2Adaptive augmentation of gain-scheduled controller for aerospace vehicles显示文摘This paper proposes an adaptive augmentation control design approach of the gain-scheduled controller.This extension is motivated by the need for augmentation of the baseline gainscheduled controller.The proposed approach can be utilized to design flight control systems for advanced aerospace vehicles with a large parameter variation.The flight dynamics within the flight envelope is described by a switched nonlinear system,which is essentially a switched polytopic system with uncertainties.The flight control system consists of a baseline gain-scheduled controller and a model reference adaptive augmentation controller,while the latter can recover the nominal performance of the gainscheduled controlled system under large uncertainties.By the multiple Lyapunov functions method,it is proved that the switched nonlinear system is uniformly ultimately bounded.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,this approach is applied to a generic hypersonic vehicle,and the simulation results show that the system output tracks the command signal well even when large uncertainties exist.Xiyuan Huang Qing Wang Yali Wang Yanze Hou Chaoyang Dong 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,2:8

4Non-fragile switched H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching显示文摘This paper deals with the problem of non-fragile linear parameter-varying(LPV) H_∞ control for morphing aircraft with asynchronous switching.The switched LPV model of morphing aircraft is established by Jacobian linearization approach according to the nonlinear model.The data missing is taken into account in the link from sensors to controllers and the link from controllers to actuators,which satisfies Bernoulli distribution.The non-fragile switched LPV controllers are constructed with consideration of the uncertainties of controllers and asynchronous switching phenomenon.The parameter-dependent Lyapunov functional method and mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT) method are combined to guarantee the stability and prescribed performance of the system.The sufficient conditions on the solvability of the problem are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities(LMI).In order to achieve higher efficiency of the designing process,an algorithm is applied to divide the whole set into subsets automatically.Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the method in the paper.Haoyu CHENG Chaoyang DONG Weilai JIANG Qing WANG Yanze HOU 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3:6
5Biodegradation behavior of magnesium and ZK60 alloy in artificial urine and rat models显示文摘In this work, the biodegradable and histocompatibility properties of pure Mg and ZK60 alloy wereinvestigated as new temporary implants for urinary applications. The corrosion mechanism in artificialurine was proposed using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarizationtests. The corrosion potential of pure magnesium and ZK60 alloy were -1820 and -1561 mV, respectively,and the corrosion current densities were 59.66 ± 6.41 and 41.94 ± 0.53 μA cm^-2, respectively. Thein vitro degradation rates for pure Mg and ZK60 alloy in artificial urine were 0.382 and 1.023 mm/y,respectively, determined from immersion tests. The ZK60 alloy degraded faster than the pure Mg in bothartificial urine and in rat bladders (the implants of both samples are ø 3 mm × 5 mm). Histocompatibilityevaluations showed good histocompatibility for the pure Mg and ZK60 alloy during the 3 weeks postimplantationin rat bladders, and no harm was observed in the bladder, liver and kidney tissues. 9A Safe and Reliable Heterogeneous Controller Deployment Approach in SDN显示文摘Software-Defined Networking(SDN)provides flexible and global network management by decoupling control plane from data plane,and multiple controllers are deployed in the network in a logically centralized and physically distributed way.However,the existing approaches generally deploy the controllers with the same type in the network,which easily causes homogeneous controller common-mode fault.To this end,this paper proposes heterogeneous controller deployment in the SDN,considering the different types of controllers and relevant criteria(e.g.,delay,control link interruption rate,and controller fault rate).Then,we introduce a Safe and Reliable Heterogeneous Controller Deployment(SRHCD)approach,consisting of two stages.Stage 1 determines the type and the number of heterogeneous controllers required for the SDN network based on the dynamic programming.Stage 2 divides the SDN network into multiple subnets by k-means algorithm and improves the genetic algorithm to optimize the heterogeneous controller deployment in these SDN subnets to ensure reliable switch-controller communications.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the control plane fault rate and increase the attack difficulties.Besides,the switch-controller delay has been lowered by 16.5%averagely.Peng Yi Tao Hu Yanze Qu Liang Wang Hailong Ma Yuxiang Hu Julong Lan 2021China Communications2021,18,8:2
10Efficient sequential harvesting of solar light by heterogeneous hollow shells with hierarchical pores显示文摘In nature,sequential harvesting of light widely exists in the old life entity,i.e.cyanobacteria,to maximize the light absorption and enhance the photosynthesis efficiency.Inspired by nature,we propose a brand new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of light in one single particle,which has purpose-designed heterogeneous hollow multi-shelled structures(HoMSs)with porous shells composed of nanoparticle subunits.Structurally,HoMSs consist of different band-gap materials outside-in,thus realizing the efficient harvesting of light with different wavelengths.Moreover,introducing oxygen vacancies into each nanoparticle subunit can also enhance the light absorption.With the benefit of sequential harvesting of light in HoMSs,the quantum efficiency at wavelength of 400 nm is enhanced by six times compared with the corresponding nanoparticles.Impressively,using these aforementioned materials as photocatalysts;highly efficient photocatalytic water splitting is realized,which cannot be achieved by using the nanoparticle counterparts.This new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of solar light paves the way for solving the ever-growing energy demand.Yanze Wei Jiawei Wan Nailiang Yang Yu Yang Yanwen Ma Songcan Wang Jiangyan Wang Ranbo Yu Lin Gu Lianhui Wang Lianzhou Wang Wei Huang Dan Wang 2020National Science Review2020,7,11:2
11The nutritional composition and digestion of plants foraged by red deer(Cervus elaphus xanthopygus) in northeast China显示文摘We studied species of plants foraged by red deer in the Muling forest region of northeastern China during January 2014 and 2015. We focused on nutritional composition, energy content, and the digestibility of these plants. Crude protein content varied by plant species.Average crude protein content was 7.5 ± 1.7% of dry matter, ranging from 4.5 to 10.3%. Crude lipid content did not vary by species and averaged 7 ± 1.5%(range5.4–9.8%). Non-fiber carbohydrate(NFC) and neutral detergent fiber(NDF) content varied broadly with average values being 20.1 ± 4.8%(range 13.5–28.8%) and64.7 ± 5.9%(range 53.5–71.8%), respectively. Energy content ranged from 16.7 to 19.7 k J/g. Average dry matter digestibility(DMD) was 46.1 ± 4.8%, with a range from38.7 to 54.6%. Only three plants, Saussurea manshurica,Aralia elata and Equisetum hyemale exhibited DMD [ 50%. NFC content explained most of the variation in energy content(r = 0.451). In contrast, energy content was inversely related to NDF(r =-0.443). There was no correlation between crude protein, crude lipid, and energy content(r_(protein)= 0.004, r_(lipid)=-0.190). S. manshurica,A. elata and E. hyemale had higher NFC and lower NDF content. Thus, these species offered the greatest nutritional value for wintering red deer in the study area. 12High-gain integrated in-line few-mode amplifier enabling 3840-km long-haul transmission显示文摘An integrated few-mode erbium-doped fiber amplifier(FM-EDFA)with high modal gain is suitable for the in-line amplification in mode-division multiplexing transmission(MDM)systems.We first experimentally demonstrate a dual-stage integrated FM-EDFA supporting three linear polarization modes.Consisting of integrated passive components with low insertion losses,the FM-EDFA has a similar structure and performance to widely used commercial single-mode EDFAs.The averaged modal gain of 25 dB,the differential modal gain(DMG)of<1.1 dB,and noise figures of 5–7 dB are simultaneously achieved.In addition,the DMG of the 3M-EDF itself is~0.3 dB.Moreover,an MDM transmission experiment with the in-line few-mode amplification by our proposed FM-EDFA over a 3840-km few-mode fiber link for a 28-Gbaud quadrature phase-shift keying(QPSK)signal is demonstrated.TAo Xu TIANYU GAO YANZE WANG WENHAO LI WEI LI CHENG Du ZHIQUN YANG YAPING LIU LIN ZHANG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,12:2
