| 1 | The Reference Genome of Tea Plant and Resequencing of 81 Diverse Accessions Provide Insights into Its Genome Evolution and Adaptation显示文摘Tea plant is an important economic crop,which is used to produce the world's oldest and most widely consumed tea beverages.Here,we present a high-quality reference genome assembly of the tea plant(Camellia sinensis var.sinensis)consisting of 15 pseudo-chromosomes.LTR retrotransposons(LTR-RTs)account for 70.38%of the genome,and we present evidence that LTR-RTS play critical roles in genome size expansion and the transcriptional diversification of tea plant genes through preferential insertion in promoter regions and introns.Genes,particularly those coding for terpene biosynthesis pro-teins,associated with tea aroma and stress resistance were significantly amplified through recent tandem duplications and exist as gene clusters in tea plant genome.Phylogenetic analysis of the sequences of 81 tea plant accessions with diverse origins revealed three well-differentiated tea plant populations,support-ing the proposition for the southwest origin of the Chinese cultivated tea plant and its later spread to western Asia through introduction.Domestication and modern breeding left significant signatures on hundreds of genes in the tea plant genome,particularly those associated with tea quality and stress resis-tance.The genomic sequences of the reported reference and resequenced tea plant accessions provide valuable resources for future functional genomics study and molecular breeding of improved cul-tivars of tea plants. | Enhua Xia Wei Tong Yan Hou Yanlin An Linbo Chen Qiong Wu Yunlong Liu Jie Yu Fangdong Li Ruopei Li Penghui Li Huijuan Zhao Ruoheng Ge Jin Huang Ali Inayat Mallano Yanrui Zhang Shengrui Liu Weiwei Deng Chuankui Song Zhaoliang Zhang Jian Zhao Shu Wei Zhengzhu Zhang Tao Xia Chaoling Wei Xiaochun Wan | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020，13，7： | 51 |
| 2 | Polymorphisms in PPARD,PPARG and APM1 associated with four types of Traditional Chinese Medicine constitutions显示文摘Based on the theory of constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the human population is divided into nine constitutions including one balanced constitution (Normality) and eight unbalanced constitutions (Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency, Phlegm-wetness, Qi-deficiency, Wetness-heat, Blood stasis, Depressed constitution, and Inherited special constitution). Different constitutions have specific metabolic features and different susceptibility to certain diseases. However, whether a genetic basis accounts for such constitution classifica-tion is yet to be determined. Here we performed a genetic study to assess the association between genetic variations of metabolic genes in-cluding PPARD, PPARG and APM1 and the constitutions. A total of 233 individuals of the Han population in China were classified into four groups, Normality, Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency and Phlegm-wetness with whom 23 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the three genes were genotyped using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method. Biased distri-bution of PPARD rs2267669 and rs2076167, APM1 rs7627128 and rs1063539 in Yang-deficiency, PPARG Pro12Ala in Yin-deficiency and PPARD rs2076167, APM1 rs266729 and rs7627128 in Phlegm-wetness were observed. The frequencies of Haplotype13 (Hap13) of PPARG in Yin-deficiency, Hap25 of APM1 in Yang-deficiency and Hap2 of PPARD and Hap14 of PPARG in Phlegm-wetness, were significantly different from those in Normality, suggesting those might be group-associated haplotypes. | 6 | Interaction of APT with BSA or HSA显示文摘In this work, N-n-amyl-N’-(sodium p- aminobenzenesulfonate) thiourea (APT) containing saturated fatty hydrocarbon group was synthesized. Fluorescence quenching methods in combination with UV absorption spectra and molecule modeling method were used to study the interaction between APT and bovine serum albumin (BSA) or human se-rum albumin (HSA). The binding constants of APT with BSA or HSA were determined at different tem-peratures under the optimum conditions based on the fluorescence quenching results. The binding characteristics of APT and BSA or HSA were reported and the binding sites were obtained. | 8 | Endostatin enhances antitumor effect of tumor antigen-pulsed dendritic cell therapy in mouse xenograft model of lung carcinoma显示文摘Objective: To investigate the antitumor effect of endostatin combined with tumor antigen-pulsed dendritic cell(DC)-T cell therapy on lung cancer.Methods: Transplanted Lewis lung cancer(LLC) models of C57BL/6 mice were established by subcutaneous injection of LLC cells in left extremity axillary. Tumor antigen-pulsed DC-T cells from spleen cells and bone of mice were cultured in vitro. Tumor-bearing mice were randomly divided into three groups, including DCT+endostatin group, DC-T group, and phosphate-buffered saline(PBS) control group. Microvessel density(MVD) of tumor tissue in tumor-bearing mice was determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC). The expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α) were determined by Western blotting and IHC staining. The proportions of CD8+ T cells, mature dendritic cells(m DC), tumor-associated macrophages [TAM(M1/M2)], and myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSC) in suspended cells of tumor tissue were determined by flow cytometry. The expressions of interleukin(IL)-6, IL-10, IL-17, transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in suspended cells of tumor tissue were detected by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA).Results: DC-T cells combined with endostatin remarkably suppressed tumor growth. MVD of mice in DCT+endostatin group was significantly lower than that of the control group and DC-T monotherapy group. The expressions of VEGF, IL-6 and IL-17 in tumors were markedly decreased, but IFN-γ and HIF-1α increased after treating with DC-T cells combined with endostatin, compared to control group and DC-T group. In the DCT+endostatin group, the proportions of MDSC and TAM(M2 type) were significantly decreased, m DC and TAM(M1 type) were up-regulated, and CD8+ T cells were recruited to infiltrate tumors, in contrast to PBS control and DC-T monotherapy. | 9 | Regional Economic Growth and Spillover Effects:An Analysis of China's Pan Pearl River Delta Area显示文摘The Pan Pearl River Delta(PPRD) Regional Co-operation Framework Agreement was signed in 2004.It aims to bring prosperity through partnership among nine Chinese Mainland provinces and China 's two special administrative regions.In this paper,we use a dynamic panel data model to examine the economic growth of the PPRD economies from 1985 to 2009.Our analysis confirms the existence of regional growth spillover effects in the PPRD area.Our results also show that economic growth spillover effects of non-PPRD regions on the PPRD regions are greater than those among the PPRD members themselves.These findings imply that economic integration between Chinese provinces has generated considerable spillover effects on regional growth.However, the anticipated benefits of the implementation of the PPRD agreement have not been realized thus far.Therefore,greater effort should be made to promote further economic integration among these members so that their local economies can benefit from the positive spillover effects. | Yu Chen Yanrui Wu | 2012 | China & World Economy2012，20，2： | 6 |
| 10 | Environmental Efficiency and the Optimal Size of Chinese Cities显示文摘The spatial distribution of population and economic activities has tmportant tmpacts onboth economic growth and the environment. This paper uses a slack-based measure toestimate the total factor environmental efficiency (TFEE) of 286 Chinese prefectural-and-above cities for the period 2002-2013. In particular, the relationship between citysize and TFEE is investigated. The findings also show an inverted U-shaped relationshipbetween TFEE and city size, which implies an optimal city size of 16.68 million residentsin China. According to this estimate, most Chinese cities may be undersized due to themigration restrictions of the hukou registration system and, hence, suffer from greatenvironmental efficiency losses. The estimated low average TFEE value of Chinese citiesalso suggests the large potential for efficiency improvement. | 17 | Multi-class 12-lead ECG automatic diagnosis based on a novel subdomain adaptive deep network显示文摘Arrhythmia is a common type of cardiovascular disease,which has become the leading cause of global deaths.Recently,the automatic 12-lead ECG diagnosis system based on numerous labelled data has attracted increasing attention.However,labelling 12-lead ECG recordings is a complex and time-consuming task for clinicians.And then,the existence of data distribution differences limits the direct cross domain use of the trained model.Enlighted by subdomain adaptation methods,this paper designs a novel subdomain adaptative deep network(SADN)for excavating diagnosis knowledge from source domain datasets.Firstly,the convolutional layer,residual blocks and SE-Residual blocks are utilized for extracting meaningful deep features automatically.Additionally,the feature classifier uses these deep features for obtaining the final diagnosis predictions.Further,designing a novel loss function with local maximum mean discrepancy is utilized for restricting data distribution discrepancy from different datasets.Finally,the Clinical Outcomes in Digital ECG and 1st China Physiological Signal Challenge datasets are utilized for evaluating the superiority of SADN,which presents that SADN enhances algorithm performance on the unlabelled target domain dataset.Further,compared with the existing methods,the proposed network structure acquires better performance with a F1-macro of 89.43%and a F1-macro1 of 87.09%.Besides,among the 4 kinds of ECG abnormalities,the diagnostic effect of the SADN is better than that of cardiology residents.Thus,SADN has promising potential as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for the clinical environment. | JIN YanRui LI ZhiYuan LIU YunQing LIU JinLei QIN Chengjin ZHAO LiQun LIU ChengLiang | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022，65，11： | 2 |
