| 4 | Loose architecture of multi-level massive geospatial data based on virtual quadtree显示文摘This paper proposed a virtual quadtree (VQT) based loose architecture of multi-level massive geospatial data for integrating massive geospatial data dispersed in the departments of different hierarchies in the same sector into a unified GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. By virtualizing the nodes of the quad-tree,the VQT separates the structure of data organization from data storage,and screens the difference between the data storage in local computer and in the re-mote computers in network environment. And by mounting,VQT easily integrates the data from the remote computers into the local VQT so as to implement seam-less integration of distributed multi-level massive geospatial data. Based on that mode,the paper built an application system with geospatial data over 1200 GB distributed in 12 servers deployed in 12 cities. | 5 | Inhibitive effects of three compositae plants on Microcystis aeruginosa显示文摘Based on common phenomena of biochemical interaction between plants and microorganisms,the inhibitive effects of three common terrestrial compositae plants,namely Artemisia lavandulaefolia DC.,Conyza canadensis(L.)Cronq.,and Kalimeris indica(L.)Sch.-Bip.on the blue algae Microcystis aeruginosa was studied.Live compositae plants are co-cultivated with algae in two different inoculation doses for 10 days in 5-pools incubators,in order to exclude the influence of bacteria and nutrients.The results show that Artemisia lavandulaefolia DC has the most inhibitive potential among the three plants as evidenced by the most drastic decrease in optical density(OD680)of the algae.The inhibition rate is 93.3%(with initial inoculation dose of 2.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)and 89.3%(with initial inoculation dose of 4.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)respectively on the 10th day of cultivation.The average inhibition rate during the later half of the experiment is 0.76(with initial inoculation dose of 2.0×10^(6) Cells/mL)and 0.71(with initial inoculation dose of 4.0×10^(6) Cells/mL),respectively.Logistic model analysis shows that compositae plants such as A.lavandulaefolia DC.causes the reduction of the habitat’s carrying capacity of algae.ANOVA analysis is used to determine the similarity and differences between every experimental group and an average inhibitive rate model is used to evaluate the inhibition effects.The results show that A.lavandulaefolia DC.,which grow well in the aquatic environment,may have a great potential in controlling algae bloom in eutrophic water. | Weihao ZHANG Fuqing XU Wei HE Xing ZHENG Chen YANG | 2009 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2009,3,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Sea-level changes controlled detrital sediment inputs to the Bicol Shelf in the western Philippine Sea since 150 ka显示文摘Detrital sediments derived from the Philippine Islands are one of the main sources of deep-sea sediments in the western Philippine Sea.However,systematic research on their characteristics and transport mechanisms are lacking.We used parametric end-member analysis to quantitatively partition the grain size of detrital sediments in core MD06-3052 from the Bicol Shelf in the western Philippine Sea;three endmembers EMI,EM2,and EM3,whose respective modes were at 2,10,and 45 μm,were separated.We also measured the Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of different size fractions(<4 and >20 μm) of the detrital sediments and the results showed that the detrital sediments mainly originate from the Philippine Islands.Components EMI and EM2 are transported to the Bicol Shelf mainly by surface and bottom currents from the islands,and component EM3 is delivered by gravity flow from the exposed shelf during low sea-level stands.The content of the total detrital fraction and the three end-members,as well as the mass accumulation rates(MARs) of the coarse detritus(EM2 and EM3),were considerably higher during glacial periods(40-14 ka and 150-130 ka) than during other intervals;the glacials corresponded to a low sea level,while the MAR of the fine detritus(EMI) did not increase remarkably during 40-14 ka.We therefore concluded that the input of coarse detritus to the Bicol Shelf from the islands was mainly controlled by sea-level change.Variations of the input of fine-grained detritus(EM1) was influenced not only by sea level but also by ocean currents and regional precipitation.Overall,our results help understand 'source-to-sink' processes in the western Pacific marginal seas and their response to global change. | ZHANG Zhishun JIANG Fuqing LI Tiegang YANG Dezhou ZHOU Xiaojing XIONG Zhifang QIU Xiaohua JIA Qi YAN Yu FENG Xuguang | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4: | 2 |

| 19 | Superior low cycle fatigue property from cell structures in additively manufactured 316L stainless steel显示文摘We have investigated the low cycle fatigue(LCF)properties and the extent of strengthening in a dense additively manufactured stainless steel containing different volume fractions of cell structures but having all other microstructure characteristics the same.The samples were produced by laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF),and the concentration of cell structures was varied systematically by varying the annealing treatments.Load-controlled fatigue experiments performed on samples with a high fraction of cell structures reveal an up to 23 times increase in fatigue life compared to an essentially cell-free sample of the same grain configuration.Multiscale electron microscopy characterizations reveal that the cell structures serve as the soft barriers to the dislocation propagation and the partials are the main carrier for cyclic loading.The cell structures,stabilized by the segregated atoms and misorientation between the adjacent cells,are retained during the entire plastic deformation,hence,can continuously interact with dislocations,promote the formation of nanotwins,and provide massive 3D network obstacles to the dislocation motion.The compositional micro-segregation caused by the cellular solidification features serves as another nonnegligible strengthening mechanism to dislocation motion.Specifically,the cell structures with a high density of dislocation debris also appear to act as dislocation nucleation sites,very much like coherent twin boundaries.This work indicates the potential of additive manufacturing to design energy absorbent alloys with high performance by tailoring the microstructure through the printing process. | Luqing Cui Dunyong Deng Fuqing Jiang Ru Lin Peng Tongzheng Xin Reza Taherzadeh Mousavian Zhiqing Yang Johan Moverare | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,16: | 0 |
| 20 | Equivalent Kelvin Impact Model for Seismic Pounding Analysis of Bridges显示文摘Based on Hertz contact theory, a method to determine the parameters of Kelvin impact model for seismic pounding analysis of bridges is proposed. The impact stiffness of Kelvin model is determined by the ratio of maximum impact force to maximum contact deformation, which is calculated based on Hertz contact theory with considering the vibration effect. The restitution coefficient which has great influence on the damping coefficient of Kelvin impact model is investigated by numerical analysis. Numerical results indicate that the impact stiffness of Kelvin impact model increases with the increment of the Hertz contact stiffness, approaching velocity or the length ratio of short to long girders. Vibration effect has remarkable influence on the impact stiffness and cannot be neglected. The restitution coefficient decreases when approaching velocity increases or the length ratio of short girder to long girder decreasing.
