| 1 | Effect of inclusions on the formation of acicular ferrite in Ti-bearing non quenched-and-tempered steel显示文摘Nucleation of acicular ferrite and its influence factors in non quenched-and-tempered steel was studied by using TEM and thermodynamic calculation. The results show that the complex particles with a center made of Ti oxide, Al2O3, and silicate and an outside made of a small quantity of mixture of TiN and MnS are able to act as ferrite nucleation nuclei. The acicular ferrite percent- age changes little with Ti. When the oxygen content was 80 ppm, the volume percentage of acicular ferrite decreased due to an in- crease in allotriomorphic ferrite. | 4 | Surface-modified Zn_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)NbO_(4) particles filled polytetrafluoroethylene composite with extremely low dielectric loss and stable temperature dependence显示文摘Polymer-ceramic composites are widely applied in microwave substrate materials due to the excellent dielectric properties and simple preparation process recently.Polytetrafluoroethylene-based(PTFE)composites filled with Zn_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)NbO_(4)(ZTN)ceramic particles were fabricated by hot-pressing.The particles were modified by C_(14)H_(19)F_(13)O_(3)Si to enhance the interface compatibility between PTFE and ZTN powders,which was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and contact angle.The surface characteristic of particles transformed into hydrophobicity and tight microstructure as well as better dielectric properties were obtained after the surface modification.The microstructure,dielectric,thermal,mechanical properties,and water absorption of the composites concerning ZTN content were investigated.Modified ZTN/PTFE composites with 50 vol% ZTN particles exhibit excellent dielectric properties with a high dielectric constant of 8.3,an extremely low dielectric loss of 0.00055 at 7 GHz,and a stable temperature coefficient of the dielectric constant of-12.2 ppm/℃.All the properties show modified ZTN particles filled PTFE composite is the potential material for microwave substrate application. | Hao WANG Fuming ZHOU Jianming GUO Yuanyuan ZHANG Hui YANG Qilong ZHANG | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,6: | 3 |
| 5 | Responses of calcareous sand foundations to variations of groundwater table and applied loads显示文摘The long-term settlement of calcareous sand foundations caused by daily periodic fluctuations has become a significant geological hazard,but effective monitoring tools to capture the deformation profiles are still rarely reported.In this study,a laboratory model test and an in situ monitoring test were conducted.An optical frequency domain reflectometer(OFDR)with high spatial resolution(1 mm)and high accuracy(10-6)was used to record the soil strain responses to groundwater table and varied loads.The results indicated that the fiber-optic measurements can accurately locate the swelling and compressive zones.During the loading process,the interlock between calcareous sand particles was detected,which increased the internal friction angle of soil.The foundation deformation above the sliding surface was dominated by compression,and the soil was continuously compressed beneath the sliding surface.After 26e48 h,calcareous sand swelling occurred gradually above the water table,which was primarily dependent on capillary water.The swelling of the soil beneath the groundwater table was completed rapidly within less than 2 h.When the groundwater table and load remain constant,the compression creep behavior can be described by the Yasong-Wang model with R2¼0.993.The daily periodically varying in situ deformation of calcareous sand primarily occurs between the highest and lowest groundwater tables,i.e.4.2e6.2 m deep.The tuff interlayers with poor water absorption capacity do not swell or compress,but they produce compressive strain under the influence of deformed calcareous sand layers. | Dingfeng Cao Sanjay Kumar Shukla Linqing Yang Chengchao Guo Jinghong Wu Fuming Wang | 2022 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,4: | 2 |
| 6 | Microstructural Features During Strain Induced Ferrite Transformation in 08 and 20Mn Steels显示文摘The microstructure evolution during strain induced ferrite transformation was followed in thermal-simulation tests of clean 08 and 20Mn steels. The influences of carbon equivalence and initial austenite grain size on ferrite grain refinement and the volume frac- tion of ferrite during straining were inspected. The results revealed that the accelerating effect of ferrite transformation by strain was increased as the carbon equivalence decreased. However, finer ferrite grains were obtained at higher carbon content. At strain of -1 .5 ferrite grains less than 3 μm and 2 μm can be obtained in 08 and 20Mn steels respectively. Whereas the ferrite grain refinement in 08 steel was due to both effects of strain induced transformation and ferrite dynamic recrystallization, that in 20Mn was mainly due to st fain induced transformation.
