2A Truncated SVD-Based ARIMA Model for Multiple QoS Prediction in Mobile Edge Computing显示文摘In the mobile edge computing environments,Quality of Service(QoS)prediction plays a crucial role in web service recommendation.Because of distinct features of mobile edge computing,i.e.,the mobility of users and incomplete historical QoS data,traditional QoS prediction approaches may obtain less accurate results in the mobile edge computing environments.In this paper,we treat the historical QoS values at different time slots as a temporal sequence of QoS matrices.By incorporating the compressed matrices extracted from QoS matrices through truncated Singular Value Decomposition(SVD)with the classical ARIMA model,we extend the ARIMA model to predict multiple QoS values simultaneously and efficiently.Experimental results show that our proposed approach outperforms the other state-of-the-art approaches in accuracy and efficiency.Chao Yan Yankun Zhang Weiyi Zhong Can Zhang Baogui Xin 2022Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,2:9
3Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8
4A numerical study of macro-mesoscopic mechanical properties of gangue backfill under biaxial compression显示文摘Based on the Particle Flow Code(PFC^(2D)) program,we set up gangue backfill models with different gangue contents and bond strength,and studied the stress-strain behaviours,the pattern of shear band and force chains,motion and fragmentation of particles under biaxial compression.The results show that when the bond strength or contents of gangue are high,the peak strength is high and the phenomena of post-peak softening and fluctuation are obvious.When gangue contents are low,the shape of the shear band is symmetrical and most strong force chains transfer in soil particles.With an increase in gangue content,the shape of the shear band becomes irregular and the majority of strong force chains turn to transfer in gangue particles gradually,most of which distribute along the axial direction.When the gangue content is higher than 50%,the interconnectivity of strong force chains decreases gradually:at the same time,the strong force chains become tilted and the stability of the system tends to decrease.With an increase in external loading,the coordination numbers of the system increase at first and then decrease and the main pattern of force chains changes into columnar from annular.However,after the forming of the advantageous shear band,the force chains external to the shear band maintain their columnar shape while the inner ones bend obviously.As a result,annular force chains form.Huang Zhimin Ma Zhanguo Zhang Lei Gong Peng Zhang Yankun Liu Fei 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2:8
5Face Recognition Based on Support Vector Machine and Nearest Neighbor Classifier显示文摘Support vector machine (SVM), as a novel approach in pattern recognition, has demonstrated a success in face detection and face recognition. In this paper, a face recognition approach based on the SVM classifier with the nearest neighbor classifier (NNC) is proposed. The principal component analysis (PCA) is used to reduce the dimension and extract features. Then one-against-all stratedy is used to train the SVM classifiers. At the testing stage, we propose an algorithm by combining SVM classifier with NNC to improve the correct recognition rate. We conduct the experiment on the Cambridge ORL face database. 6Single-Crystalline In Ga As Nanowires for Room-Temperature High-Performance Near-Infrared Photodetectors显示文摘In Ga As is an important bandgap-variable ternary semiconductor which has wide applications in electronics and optoelectronics. In this work, single-crystal In Ga As nanowires were synthesized by a chemical vapor deposition method.Photoluminescence measurements indicate the In Ga As nanowires have strong light emission in near-infrared region. For the first time, photodetector based on as-grown In Ga As nanowires was also constructed. It shows good light response over a broad spectral range in infrared region with responsivity of 6.5×10~3 AW^(-1) and external quantum efficiency of 5.04×10~5%. 7Rare earth effects on high temperature oxidation of pure nickel at 1000 ℃显示文摘Isothermal and cyclic oxidation behaviors of pure and yttrium-implanted nickel were studied at 1000℃ in air. SEM andTEM were used to examine the oxide scales formed on nickel substrate. It was found that Y-implantation greatly improved the anti-oxidation ability of nickel both in isothermal and cyclic oxidizing experiments. Acoustic emission (AE) technique was used to study the size and number distribution of defects at the oxide/metal interface. Laser Raman microscopy was also used to study the stress status of oxide scales formed on nickel with and without yttrium. The main reason for the improvement in anti-oxidation and adhesion of oxide scale was that Y-implantation greatly reduced the grain size of NiO and lowered the compressive stress within the scale. 8Acoustic emission generated during the gas sorption-desorption process in coal显示文摘An experimental system for monitoring the acoustic signals generated in coal during gas sorption and/or desorption was designed and the acoustic signals were observed under different gas pressures. The experimental results show that signals generated by the coal during gas adsorption are attenuated over time. Also, the signals are not continuous but are impulsive. The intensity of the signals generated during gas desorption is far smaller than that observed during adsorption. The signal seen during desorption remains essentially stable. Cycles of sorption and desorption cause acoustic emission signals that exhibit a memory effect, which depends upon the maximum gas pressure the sample was exposed to in earlier cycles. Lower pressures in subsequent cycles, compared to the maximum adsorption pressure in previous cycles, cause both the energy and impulse frequency to be lower than previously. 9Feature extraction method of hyperspectral scattering images for prediction of total viable count in pork meat显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the capabilities of hyperspectral scattering imaging in tandem with Gaussian function,Exponential function and Lorentzian function for rapid and nondestructive determination of total viable count(TVC)in pork meat.Two batches of fresh pork meat was purchased from a local market and stored at 10°C for 1-9 d.Totally 60 samples were used,and several samples were taken out randomly for hyperspectral scattering imaging and conventional microbiological tests on each day of the experiments.The functions of Gaussian,Exponential and Lorentzian were employed to model the hyperspectral scattering profiles of pork meat,and good fitting results were obtained by all three functions between 455 nm and 1000 nm.The Lorentzian function performed best for fitting the hyperspectral scattering profiles of pork meat compared with other functions.Both principal component regression(PCR)and partial least squares regression(PLSR)methods were performed to establish the prediction models.Among all the developed models,the models developed using parameters CE(scattering width parameter of Exponential function)and CL(scattering width parameter of Lorentzian function)by PLSR method gave superior results for predicting pork meat TVC,with RV and RMSEV of 0.92,0.59 log CFU/g,and 0.91,0.61 log CFU/g,respectively.In addition,based on the improved hyperspectral scattering system,parameter c which represented the scattering widths in all three functions gave more accurate prediction results,regardless of the modeling methods(PCR or PLSR).The obtained results demonstrated that hyperspectral scattering imaging combined with the presented data analysis algorithm can be a powerful tool for evaluating the microbial safety of meat in the future.Tao Feifei Peng Yankun Li Yongyu 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,4:5
10MiR-214-3p promotes proliferation and inhibits estradiol synthesis in porcine granulosa cells显示文摘Background: Granulosa cells(GCs) proliferation and estradiol synthesis significantly affect follicular development.The miR-214-3p expression in the ovarian tissues of high-yielding sows is higher than that in low-yielding sows,indicating that miR-214-3p may be involved in sow fertility. However, the functions and mechanisms of miR-214-3p on GCs are unclear. This study focuses on miR-214-3p in terms of the effects on GCs proliferation and estradiol synthesis.Results: Our findings revealed that miR-214-3p promotes proliferation and inhibits estradiol synthesis in porcine GCs. MiR-214-3p can increase the percentage of S-phase cells, the number of EdU labeled positive cells, and cell viability. However, E2 concentration was reduced after miR-214-3p agomir treatment. We also found that miR-214-3p up-regulates the expression of cell cycle genes including cell cycle protein B(Cyclin B), cell cycle protein D(Cyclin D), cell cycle protein E(Cyclin E), and cyclin-dependent kinase 4(CDK4) at the transcription and translation levels, but down-regulates the mRNA and protein levels of cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily A member 1(CYP11A1), cytochrome P450 family 19 subfamily A member 1(CYP19A1), and steroidogenic acute regulatory protein(StAR)(i.e., the key enzymes in estradiol synthesis). 11Laboratory core flooding experimental systems for CO_2 geosequestration: An updated review over the past decade显示文摘Carbon dioxide(CO_2) geosequestration in deep saline aquifers has been currently deemed as a preferable and practicable mitigation means for reducing anthropogenic greenhouse gases(GHGs) emissions to the atmosphere, as deep saline aquifers can offer the greatest potential from a capacity point of view. Hence,research on core-scale CO_2/brine multiphase migration processes is of great significance for precisely estimating storage efficiency, ensuring storage security, and predicting the long-term effects of the sequestered CO_2 in subsurface saline aquifers. This review article initially presents a brief description of the essential aspects of CO_2 subsurface transport and geological trapping mechanisms, and then outlines the state-of-the-art laboratory core flooding experimental apparatus that has been adopted for simulating CO_2 injection and migration processes in the literature over the past decade. 13Shortwave infrared hyperspectral imaging for detection of pH value in Fuji apple显示文摘pH value is regarded as one of the most important attributes that affect sensory characteristics and edible quality of apple.The objective of the research was to explore the feasibility of applying shortwave infrared hyperspectral imaging system to detect the pH value of apple.A shortwave infrared hyperspectral imaging system was developed over the wavelength region of 1000-2500 nm and used to acquire hyperspectral images of apple samples.After reflectance calibration,mean reflectance spectral was calculated by averaging the intensity of all pixels within the roundness region of interest(ROI).Synergy interval partial least squares(siPLS)algorithms as an effective multivariable method was conducted on the calibration of regression model to estimate the pH value in Fuji apple.The performance of the final model was back-evaluated according to root mean square error of calibration(RMSEC)and correlation coefficient(Rc)in calibration set,and tested in prediction set.The optimal prediction siPLS model was obtained with correlation coefficient(Rp)of 0.8474 and mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.0398.The results indicated that shortwave infrared hyperspectral imaging combined with siPLS chemometrics could be an accurate and fast method for nondestructive prediction of pH value in Fuji apple.Guo Zhiming Huang Wenqian Chen Liping Peng Yankun Wang Xiu 2014International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2014,7,2:3

15Hepatitis B virus evades immune recognition via RNA adenosine deaminase ADAR1-mediated viral RNA editing in hepatocytes显示文摘HBV is considered as a“stealth”virus that does not invoke interferon(IFN)responses;however,the mechanisms by which HBV bypasses innate immune recognition are poorly understood.In this study,we identified adenosine deaminases acting on RNA 1(ADAR1),which is a key factor in HBV evasion from IFN responses in hepatocytes.Mechanically,ADAR1 interacted with HBV RNAs and deaminated adenosine(A)to generate inosine(I),which disrupted host immune recognition and thus promoted HBV replication.Loss of ADAR1 or its deficient deaminase activity promoted IFN responses and inhibited HBV replication in hepatocytes,and blocking the IFN signaling pathways released the inhibition of HBV replication caused by ADAR1 deficiency.Notably,the HBV X protein(HBx)transcriptionally promoted ADAR1 expression to increase the threshold required to trigger intrinsic immune activation,which in turn enhanced HBV escape from immune recognition,leading to persistent infection.Supplementation with 8-azaadenosine,an ADAR1 inhibitor,efficiently enhanced liver immune activation to promote HBV clearance in vivo and in vitro.Taken together,our results delineate a molecular mechanism by which HBx promotes ADAR1-derived HBV immune escape and suggest a targeted therapeutic intervention for HBV infection.Liyuan Wang Yang Sun Xiaojia Song Zehua Wang Yankun Zhang Ying Zhao Xueqi Peng Xiaodong Zhang Chunyang Li Chengjiang Gao Nailin Li Lifen Gao Xiaohong Liang Zhuanchang Wu Chunhong Ma 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:2
16Separate Dimming Controlling and Data Transmission for an Indoor Visible Light Communication System显示文摘Simultaneous dimming controlling and data transmission are usually required in a white LED based indoor visible light communication system.However,the diming controlling of LED normally interferes the data transmission due to the modulation nonlinearity of LED.In order to solve this problem,a scheme by separating the LEDs for the functions of dimming control and data transmission respectively is proposed in this paper.In the scheme,the LEDs used for dimming control function are driven by a dc amplified circuit,and the LEDs for data transmission are driven by a digital modulation circuit respectively.In this way,the modulation distortion to the data signal caused by the modulation nonlinearity can be avoided even if the dimming is at high level dc driven current.The proof-of-concept experiment of a 2.5Mbit/s visible light communication system demonstrates that the dimming controlling and data transmission can be realized simultaneously in a simple way,and the data transmission is not affected by the dimming controlling function.Compared to previous methods,the scheme in this paper is simpler and cost effective,and makes sense when high rate data is transmitted in a visible light communication system.LIU Xiang YANG Aiying LI Yankun FENG Lihui 2015China Communications2015,12,3:2
17Enhancing hydrogen evolution on the basal plane of transition metal dichacolgenide van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘Recent years have seen a surge in the use of low-dimensional transition metal dichacolgenides,such as MoS_(2),as catalysts for the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction.In particular,sulfur vacancies in MoS_(2)can activate the inert basal plane,but that requires an unrealistically high defect concentration(~9%)to achieve optimal activity.In this work,we demonstrate by firstprinciples calculations that assembling van der Waals heterostructures can enhance the catalytic activity of MoS_(2)with low concentrations of sulfur vacancies.We integrate MoS_(2)with various two-dimensional nanostructures,including graphene,h-BN,phosphorene,transition metal dichacolgenides,MXenes,and their derivatives,aiming to fine-tune the free energy of atomic hydrogen adsorption.Remarkably,an optimal free energy can be achieved for a low sulfur vacancy concentration of~2.5%in the MoS_(2)/MXene-OH heterostructure,as well as high porosity and tunability.These results demonstrate the potential of combining two-dimensional van der Waals assembly with defect engineering for efficient hydrogen production.Faling Ling Wei Kang Huirong Jing Wen Zeng Yankun Chen Xiaoqing Liu Yixin Zhang Lin Qi Liang Fang Miao Zhou 2019npj Computational Materials2019,,1:2

19D609 protects retinal pigmented epithelium as a potential therapy for age-related macular degeneration显示文摘Accumulated oxidative damage may lead to irreversible retinal pigmented epithelium(RPE)cell death,which is considered to be the primary cause of dry age-related macular degeneration(AMD),leading to blindness in the elderly.However,an effective therapy for this disease is lacking.Here,we described a robust high-content screening procedure with a library of 814 protective compounds and found that D609 strongly protected RPE cells from sodium iodate(SI)-induced oxidative cell death and prolonged their healthy survival.D609 effectively attenuated excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)and prevented severe mitochondrial loss due to oxidative stress in the RPE cells.Surprisingly,the potent antioxidative effects of D609 were not achieved through its own reducibility but were primarily dependent on its ability to increase the expression of metallothionein.The injection of this small water-soluble molecule also showed an explicit protective effect of the RPE layer in an SI-induced AMD mouse model.These findings suggested that D609 could serve as a novel antioxidative protector of RPE cells both in vitro and in vivo and unveiled a novel antioxidative mechanism of D609,which may ultimately have clinical applications for the treatment of AMD.Bowen Wang Li Wang Sijie Gu Yankun Yu Huaxing Huang Kunlun Mo He Xu Fanzhu Zeng Yichen Xiao Lulu Peng Chunqiao Liu Nan Cao Yizhi Liu Jin Yuan Hong Ouyang 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:2
