| 5 | Self-mixed self-interference analog cancellation in full-duplex communications显示文摘Rather than using existing self-interference cancellation methods, which essentially consist of reconstruction and subtraction, this paper proposes a novel approach, based on multiplication, to cancel selfinterference in the analog domain in full-duplex communications. This approach is called self-mixed selfinterference analog cancellation(SM-SIAC). Moreover, rather than using an individual analog cancellation circuit in existing self-interference cancellation methods, SM-SIAC can merge the analog cancellation circuit and the receiver. SM-SIAC is configured with three auto-tuning loops, consisting of one delay loop and two gain loops. SM-SIAC is further simplified with the Gaussian minimum shift keying(GMSK) self-interference signal.When these loops converge, the paper analyzes the cancellation capacity and derives a closed-form expression for the quadrature amplitude modulation self-interference signal and the GMSK self-interference signal. | 7 | Strict pattern matching under non-overlapping condition显示文摘Pattern matching(or string matching) is an essential task in computer science, especially in sequential pattern mining, since pattern matching methods can be used to calculate the support(or the number of occurrences) of a pattern and then to determine whether the pattern is frequent or not. A state-of-the-art sequential pattern mining with gap constraints(or flexible wildcards) uses the number of non-overlapping occurrences to denote the frequency of a pattern. Non-overlapping means that any two occurrences cannot use the same character of the sequence at the same position of the pattern. In this paper, we investigate strict pattern matching under the non-overlapping condition. We show that the problem is in P at first. Then we propose an algorithm, called NETLAP-Best, which uses Nettree structure. NETLAP-Best transforms the pattern matching problem into a Nettree and iterates to find the rightmost root-leaf path, to prune the useless nodes in the Nettree after removing the rightmost root-leaf path. We show that NETLAP-Best is a complete algorithm and analyse the time and space complexities of the algorithm. Each tap is usually comprised of one fixed delay line, one variable attenuator, and one optional variable phase shifter. To balance the quantity of the variable phase shifters and the achievable SI cancellation(SIC) performance, this paper proposes a novel analog SIC cancellation structure,called shared-phase-shifter constrained multi-tap structure(SMTS). In the proposed architecture, all taps share one phase shifter to emulate the dominated phase offset of the SI channel, which reduces the complexity of the implementation of the multi-tap analog SIC structure and avoids the SIC performance degradation. | 12 | ESTIMATION OF CARRIER FREQUENCY OFFSETS FOR MIMO SYSTEMS WITH DISTRIBUTED TRANSMIT ANTENNAS显示文摘The problem of estimating the carrier frequency offsets in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems with distributed transmit antennas is addressed. It is supposed that the transmit antennas are distributed while the receive antennas are still centralized, and the general case where both the time delays and the frequency offsets are possibly different for each transmit antenna is considered. The channel is supposed to be frequency flat, and the macroscopic fading is also taken into consideration. A carrier frequency offset estimator based on Maximum Likelihood (ML) is proposed, which can separately estimate the frequency offset for each transmit antenna and exploit the spatial diversity. The Cramer-Rao Bound (CRB) for synchronous MIMO (i.e., the time delays for each transmit antenna are all equal) is also derived. Simulation results are given to illustrate the per- formance of the estimator and compare it with the CRB. Two classical memoryless nonlinear amplifier models, i.e., a traveling-wave tube amplifier and a solid-state power amplifier, are considered. An analytical expression for the bit error ratio is derived using a characteristic function and numerical integration. Theoretical results show perfect agreement with those obtained by simulation. | 20 | Dry friction damping mechanism of flexible microporous metal rubber based on cell group energy dissipation mechanism显示文摘Flexible microporous metal rubber (FMP-MR) is a high-damping material that dissipates energy by dry friction through internal spiral metal wires in contact with each other. However, the FMP-MR energy dissipation mechanism is not fully understood owing to its disordered grid interpenetrating structure. In this work, computer-aided preparation technology is used to accurately reconstruct the complex spiral network structure of FMP-MR multipoint random contact, and a cell group model with an energy dissipation mechanism is proposed to obtain the dynamic energy distribution of the contact friction in both space and time dimensions. By judging the effective contact point, a global displacement ablation phenomenon of hooked staggered porous materials is induced. The macro- and micro-equivalent frictions are introduced to effectively explain the characteristics of the strong energy dissipation in FMP-MR under fretting excitation. A real and effective damping hysteresis constitutive model is then constructed to dynamically capture the mapping relationship between the complex nonlinear topological structure effect of the materials and spatial random contact dry friction in real time. The results indicate that the contact behavior between turns of the FMP-MR wire follows a clear quasi-Gaussian distribution under an external load, forcing the topological results to change. The energy dissipation of the materials revealed peak energy consumption lagging behind the loading limit for a certain distance, which can be determined by the effective contact point and contact dry friction slip. The consistency between the quasi-static compression tests and constitutive curves of the model was quantitatively verified through residual analysis. The data demonstrated the differential behavior of the FMP-MR meso-structure to follow a phased growth law during loading with different action mechanisms in the guiding, main growth, and relaxation stages of the energy consumption displacement curve.
