| 1 | Lightweight structure of a phase-change thermal controller based on lattice cells manufactured by SLM显示文摘Thermal controllers equipped with phase-change materials are widely used for maintaining the moderate temperatures of various electric devices used in spacecraft. Yet, the structures of amounts of thermal controllers add up to such a large value that restricts the employment of scientific devices due to the limit of rocket capacity. A lightweight structure of phase-change thermal controllers has been one of the main focuses of spacecraft design engineering. In this work, we design a lightweight phase-change thermal controller structure based on lattice cells. The structure is manufactured entirely with AlSi10 Mg by direct metal laser melting. The dimensions of the structure are 230 mm × 170 mm × 15 mm, and the mass is 190 g, which is 60% lighter than most traditional structures(500–600 g) with the same dimensions. The 3 D-printed structure can reduce the risk of leakage at soldering manufacture by a welding process. Whether the strength of the designed structure is sufficient is determined through mechanical analysis and experiments. | 2 | A review of structures,verification,and calibration technologies of space robotic systems for on-orbit servicing显示文摘Recently,with the rapid development of aerospace technology,an increasing number of spacecraft is being launched into space.Additionally,the demands for on-orbit servicing(OOS)missions are rapidly increasing.Space robotics is one of the most promising approaches for various OOS missions;thus,research on space robotics technologies for OOS has attracted increased attention from space agencies and universities worldwide.In this paper,we review the structures,ground verification,and onorbit kinematics calibration technologies of space robotic systems for OOS.First,we systematically summarize the development of space robotic systems and OOS programs based on space robotics.Then,according to the structures and applications,these systems are divided into three categories:large space manipulators,humanoid space robots,and small space manipulators.According to the capture mechanisms adopted,the end-effectors are systematically analyzed.Furthermore,the ground verification facilities used to simulate a microgravity environment are summarized and compared.Additionally,the on-orbit kinematics calibration technologies are discussed and analyzed compared with the kinematics calibration technologies of industrial manipulators with regard to four aspects.Finally,the development trends of the structures,verification,and calibration technologies are discussed to extend this review work. | DING XiLun WANG YeCong WANG YaoBing XU Kun | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,3: | 14 |
| 3 | N-doped defective carbon with trace Co for efficient rechargeable liquid electrolyte-/all-solid-state Zn-air batteries显示文摘Simple synthesis of multifunctional electrocatalysts with plentiful active sites from earth-abundant materials is especially fascinating. Here, N-doped defective carbon with trace Co(1.5 wt%) was prepared via a scalable one pot solid pyrolysis process. The sample exhibits efficient bifunctional OER/ORR activity in alkaline, mainly ascribed to the unique micro-mesoporous structure(1–3 nm), high population of graphitic-N doping(up to 49.0%), abundant defects and the encapsulated Co nanoparticles with graphitized carbon. The according rechargeable liquid Zn-air batteries showed excellent performance(maximum power density of 154.0 mW cm^(-2); energy density of 773 Wh kg^(-1) at 5 mA cm^(-2) and charging-discharging cycling stability over 100 cycles). | 4 | Stochastic averaging technique for SDOF strongly nonlinear systems with delayed feedback fractional-order PD controller显示文摘A stochastic averaging technique is proposed to study the randomly excited single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) strongly nonlinear systems with delayed feedback fractional-order proportional-derivative(PD) controller. The delayed feedback fractional-order PD control force is approximated by an equivalent non-delay feedback control force combining with a quasi-linear elastic force and a quasi-linear damping force. The averaged It? stochastic differential equation for amplitude of the equivalent nonlinear system is derived by the generalized harmonic functions. The analytical stationary probability density function(PDF) is obtained with solving the reduced Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov(FPK) equation. Two examples of van der Pol oscillator and RayleighDuffing oscillator are studied to illustrate the application and effectiveness of the proposed method. Numerical results display that the proposed method can yield to the high precision, and the time delay could ruin the control effectiveness, but also even amplifies the response of the system more than that of uncontrolled system. Furthermore, the study finds that the parameters of fractional-order α and time delay may cause the stochastic P-bifurcation. | 5 | Method for Predicting the Fatigue Life of Geometrically Discontinuous Structures Under Combined Bending and Torsion显示文摘The fatigue damage model based on theory of damage mechanics is capable of predicting the fatigue life under multiaxial loading. Meanwhile, the application of critical plane method in the prediction of multiaxial fatigue life has made certain progress. According to the law of thermodynamics, a new damage evolution equation is developed in the present study to predict the fatigue life of geometrically discontinuous structure under tension-torsion loading based on damage mechanics and the critical plane method. The essence of this approach is tha t the st rain parame ter of the uniaxial nonlinear fatigue damage model is replaced with the equivalent strain, which consists of the releva nt parame ters of the critical plane. However, it is difficult to calculate the stress-strain status and the critical plane position of geometrically dis? continuous structure by theoretical methods because of the existence of stress concentration and the multiaxial nonproportional characteristics. Therefore, a new numerical simulation method is proposed to determine the critical plane of geometrically discontinuous structure under multiaxial loading by means of the finite element method and MATLAB software. The fatigue life of notched specimens subjected to combined bending and torsion is predicted using the proposed met hod, and the result is compared with t hose from the experimen ts and the Manson-Cfiffin law. The comparisons show that the proposed method is superior to the Manson-Coffin law and is capable of reproducing the experimental results reasonably when the geometry of the structure is complex.
