1Polymorphisms of three gene-derived STS on pig chromosome 13q41 are associated with susceptibility to enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli F4ab/ac in pigs显示文摘Neonatal diarrhea caused by enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli(ETEC)F4 is a common and serious disease,resulting in significant economical loss in the pig industry.The locus encoding ETEC F4 receptor has been mapped to pig chromosome(SSC)13q41,and one of the most significantly linked markers is S0075.In this study,we selected three genes including SLC12A8,MYLK and KPNA1 from a chromosomal region flanking S0075 on SSC13 to develop pig specific sequence tagged sites(STS). Seven single nucleotide polymorphisms were identified in the three pig STS using DNA of four full-sib susceptible and resistant animals in a White Duroc×Erhualian intercross.All grandparents,parents and 755 offspring in the intercross were genotyped for three polymorphisms,including SLC12A8 g.159A>G,MYLK g.1673A>G and KPNA1 g.306A>G.Family-based transmission disequilibrium test(TDT) revealed that all polymorphisms and the corresponding haplotypes are significantly associated with ETEC F4ab/ac(especially F4ac)brush border adhesion phenotypes,indicating that these polymor- phism are in linkage disequlibrium with causal mutation(s)of the gene encoding ETEC F4ab/ac receptor. 2Nutrient distribution within and release from the contaminated sediment of Haihe River显示文摘We assessed nutrient characteristics, distributions and fractions within the disturbed and undisturbed sediments at four sampling sites within the mainstream of Haihe River. The river sediments contained mostly sand (> 60%). The fraction of clay was < 3%. Total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) concentrations ranged from 729 to 1922 mg/kg and from 692 to 1388 mg/kg, respectively. Nutrient concentrations within the sediments usually decreased with increasing depth. The TN and TP concentrations within the fine sand were higher than for that within silt. Sediment phosphorus fractions were between 2.99% and 3.37% Ex-P (exchangeable phosphorus), 7.89% and 13.71% Fe/Al-P (Fe, Al oxides bound phosphorus), 61.32% and 70.14% Ca-P (calcium-bound phosphorus), and 17.03% and 22.04% Org-P (organic phosphorus). Nitrogen and phosphorus release from sediment could lead to the presence of 21.02 mg N/L and 3.10 mg P/L within the water column. 3A more efficient accountable authority IBE scheme under the DL assumption显示文摘In 2007, Goyal introduced a new and creative approach, called accountable authority identity-based encryption (referred to as A-IBE), to reduce the degree of trust that must be placed in the private-key generator (PKG) in an identity-based encryption (IBE) scheme. Based on his work, a new universal A-IBE scheme is proposed in this paper. Compared with Goyal's universal scheme, this new universal A-IBE scheme not only optimizes the time requirements for pairing operations, but also achieves a 'tighter' security reduction based on a weaker hard problem (the discrete logarithm problem) under a stronger security definition (using an adaptively selected identity). Because there are many fewer pairing operations in this new scheme, the performance of the application can be improved to some degree. In addition, because of the 'tighter' security reduction achieved by this new proposed scheme, a less restrictive security parameter can be chosen while achieving the same security as with Goyal's scheme along with an improvement in performance. In the respect of the time requirement, compared with the Goyal's universal scheme, this new scheme could be more efficient. Regrettably, these improvements will increase the memory needed for the public parameters and the volume of communications required. 16Multipartite matroids and secret sharing显示文摘In a secret-sharing scheme,a secret value is distributed among a set of participants by giving each participant a share.The requirement is that only predefined subsets of participants can recover the secret from their shares.The family of the predefined authorized subsets is called the access structure.An access structure is ideal if there exists a secret-sharing scheme realizing it in which the shares have optimal length,that is,in which the shares are taken from the same domain as the secrets.Brickell and Davenport proved that ideal access structures are induced by matroids.Subsequently,ideal access structures and access structures induced by matroids have received a lot of attention.Seymour gave the first example of an access structure induced by a matroid namely the Vamos matroid,that is non-ideal.Since every matroid is multipartite and has the associated discrete polymatroid,in this paper,by dealing with the rank functions of discrete polymatroids,we obtain a sufficient condition for a multipartite access structure to be ideal.Furthermore,we give a new proof that all access structures related to bipartite and tripartite matroids coincide with the ideal ones.Our results give new contributions to the open problem,that is,which matroids induce ideal access structures.HSU ChingFang TANG XueMing CHENG Qi XIAO HaiJun 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,29:1

19Simulation of the water level influence on the difference within the water-tube tiltmeter in Shuangyang Lake显示文摘This article analyzes the relationship between the water level and the water-tube tilting in Shuangyang lake,based on the differential deformation features reflected by the NS and EW components of the water-tube tiltmeter.The results show a good spatiotemporal consistency between the variation of water level and the NS tilt component,which is considered to be affected by the magnitude and duration of the water level variation in Shuangyang Lake.The article uses Landsat remote sensing image data to extract the water boundary of Shuan-gyang Lake,and takes advantage of the finite element numerical simulation method to build three-dimensional models for different geological structural conditions of the Shuangyang seismostation.The simulation results show that when the underground medium is granite,the effect of water level variation on the vertical displacement of the surface is non-directional.With a 50-m soil layer in Model 2,the simulated NS tilt variation is equivalent to the actual observed water-tube tiltmeter NS component when the water level variation is 0.44 m and 0.8m.When the variation of water level reaches 2.0m,the simulation result of the NS component is 79.6 ms,which is slightly larger than the observed result of 60.32 ms.However,the simulation results show that the variation of the EW component is significantly smaller than that of the NS one.Due to the fact that the Shuan-gyang lake is long in the NS direction and short in the EW direction,the existence of the soil layer tends to generate ground deformation along the NS direction in the vicinity of the lake after the increase of water level,thereby resulting in the difference of the ground deformation in the two directions.Chong Yue Chuncheng Tang Wei Yan Xiaodong Pan Xueme Li Yuwen Tan Zongfeng Zhang Tianlong Yu 2021Earthquake Research Advances2021,1,2:1
