1Effects of metabolizable energy and crude protein levels on laying performance,egg quality and serum biochemical indices of Fengda-1 layers显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary ME and CP levels on laying performance, egg quality and serum biochemical indices of Fengda-1 layers. In a 2 × 3 factorial arrangement, 2,400 Fengda-1 layers(32 wk of age) were randomly assigned to 6 experimental diets with 2,650 and 2,750 kcal of ME/kg of diet, each containing 14.50%, 15.00% and 15.50% CP, respectively. Each dietary treatment was replicated 5 times, and feed and water were provided ad libitum. The trial lasted for 10 wk, including a2-week acclimation period and an 8-week experimental period. Our results showed that ADFI decreased as the ME level of diet increased from 2,650 to 2,750 kcal/kg(P< 0.05). Layers fed diets with 2,750 kcal/kg ME exhibited higher mortality than those fed with 2,650 kcal/kg ME(P < 0.05). Birds fed with 14.50% and15.00% CP had higher egg production(EP) and egg mass(EM) than those fed with 15.50% CP(P < 0.05).Yolk color increased as the ME level of the diet increased from 2,650 to 2,750 kcal/kg, however, the eggshell thickness decreased(P < 0.05). Serum concentrations of uric acid and triglyceride in layers fed diets with 2,750 kcal/kg ME were higher than those fed diets with 2,650 kcal/kg ME(P < 0.05). There was no significant interaction between ME and CP on laying performance, egg quality, or serum biochemical indices(P > 0.05). 2Coherent structures and wavepackets in subsonic transitional turbulent jets显示文摘A large eddy simulation(LES) is performed for two subsonic jets with a Reynolds number of Re = 105,which have different core temperatures, i.e., the cold and hot jet. The far-field overall sound pressure levels(OASPL)and noise spectra are well validated against previous experimental results. It is found that the OASPL is raised by heating at shallow angles. The most energetic coherent structures are extracted with specified frequencies using the filter based on the frequency domain variant of the snapshot method of proper orthogonal decomposition(POD). The m = 0, 1 modes have high coherence of near-field pressure for both jets, while the coherence of m = 0 modes is enhanced greatly by heating. Based on the coherent structures, spatial wavepackets are educed and the characteristics of growth, saturation and decay are analyzed and compared between the two jets in detail. The results show that heating would enhance the linear growth rate for high frequency components, and nonlinear growth rates for low frequency components in general, which are responsible for higher OASPL in the hot jet. The far-field sound generated by wavepackets is computed using the Kirchhoff extrapolation,which matches well with that of LES at shallow angles.This indicates that the wavepackets associated with coherent structures are dominant sound sources in forced transitional turbulent jets. 3An elevated preoperative serum calcium level is a significant predictor for positive peritoneal cytology in endometrial carcinoma显示文摘Objective:To evaluate preoperative serum calcium concentration and investigate the association between calcium level and positive peritoneal cytology in endometrial carcinoma(EC).Methods:A total of 510 patients who were diagnosed with EC and had surgery were initially enrolled in this study at Peking University People's Hospital between January 2012 and December 2016.Clinical characteristics and preoperative serum calcium,albumin,carbohydrate antigen(CA)125,CA19-9,carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)were extracted from patient records and evaluated according to postoperative peritoneal cytology.Predictive factors were assessed with Cox univariate and multivariate analyses.Factors selected from multivariate analysis results were used to build a predictive model.Results:A total of 510 patients are identified in our database and 444 patients who fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria are included in this study.Univariate analysis revealed that ionized calcium concentration was closely related to positive peritoneal cytology,tumor grade and lymph-vascular space invasion(LVSI).Moreover,peritoneal cytology was significantly associated with hypertension,tubal ligation,serum CA125,CA19-9,CEA and ionized calcium level.Multivariate analysis revealed that albumin-adjusted calcium level,CA125 and tubal ligation were independent predictive factors of positive peritoneal cytology(P<0.05).A combination of ionized calcium level with the other two indexes yielded significantly great area under the curve(AUC=0.824).Conclusions:This study enhanced the value of preoperative ionized calcium level.We also identified several potential biomarkers to predict positive peritoneal cytology in EC patients before surgery.Xingchen Li Yuan Cheng Yangyang Dong Boqiang Shen Xiao Yang Jiaqi Wang Jingyi Zhou Jianliu Wang 2019Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,6:3
4Effect of hole arrangement patterns on the leakage and rotordynamic characteristics of the honeycomb seal显示文摘The honeycomb seal is a vital component to reduce the leakage flow and improvethe system stability for the turbomachines. In this work, a three-dimensional model is established for the interlaced hole honeycomb seal (IHHCS) and the non-interlaced hole honeycombseal (NIHHCS) to investigate its leakage and rotordynamic characteristics by adopting computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Results show that the hole arrangement patterns have littleimpact on the pressure drop and turbulence kinetic energy distribution for the seals, and theIHHCS possesses a slightly lower leakage flow rate than the NIHHCS. Moreover, the numericalresults also show that the NIHHCS possesses a better rotordynamic performance than theIHHCS at all investigated conditions. Both seals show a larger k and a lower Ceff with the increase of the positive preswirl ratios and rotational speeds, while the negative preswirl ratioswould reduce the k and improve the Ceff. 6Numerical investigation on leakage and rotordynamic performance of the honeycomb seal with swirl-reverse rings显示文摘Honeycomb seals are a crucial component to restrict the leakage flow and improve system stability for the turbomachines and aero-engines.In this work,the leakage and rotordynamic performance of honeycomb seals with the Swirl-Reverse Ring(SRR)is predicted by employing the approach of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)and the multifrequency whirling model theory.Numerical results show that the positive preswirl flow and circumferential velocity can be effectively weakened for the honeycomb seal as SRR is introduced.The obtained results also suggest that the direct stiffness,direct damping,and effective stiffness will not reduce,for the honeycomb seal is introduced to SRR.However,the honeycomb seal with SRR can significantly reduce the crosscoupled stiffness and remarkably enhance the effective damping.Meanwhile,the absolute value of negative tangential force acting on the rotor surface significantly increased for the honeycomb seal introduced SRR.Therefore,the whirling velocity of the rotor would be weakened.This phenomenon would be conducive to improve the stability of the rotor.Besides,the performance of SRR can be further enhanced when SRR possesses a smaller bending angle,and a higher arrangement density and height.Chengjing GU Wanfu ZHANG Xingchen YANG Kexin WU Lu YIN 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,6:2
7Large-size niobium disulfide nanoflakes down to bilayers grown by sulfurization显示文摘Atomically thin layers of group VB transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs)provide a unique platform for studying two-dimensional (2D) superconductivityand charge density waves. Thus far, the bottom-up synthesis of these 2D TMDshas often involved precursors that are corrosive or toxic, and their lateral sizesare typically only a few micrometers. In this paper, we report the growth ofNbS2 nanoflakes with a thickness down to bilayers and a lateral dimension upto tens of micrometers without using harsh chemical species. NbS2 nanoflakeseither standing or lying with respect to the sapphire substrate were obtained bysulfurization of niobium oxide films that were prepared via pulsed laser deposition.Standing nanoflakes are considered to grow epitaxiaUy on the sapphire substrateaccording to their ordered orientation, while lying nanoflakes with randomorientations were grown directly on top of the niobium oxide films. The Ramanspectra of the 3R-phase exhibit strong dependence on the layer thickness, wherethe A1 mode softens as the layer number decreases. In contrast to the stable bulkNbS2, the ultra-thin nanoflakes were oxidized on their top surfaces after prolongedexposure to air, as revealed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. 10In-plane heterostructured Ag_(2)S-In_(2)S_(3) atomic layers enabling boosted CO_(2) photoreduction into CH_(4)显示文摘Sluggish separation and migration kinetics of the photogenerated carriers account for the low-efficiency of CO_(2) photoreduction into CH_(4). Design and construction two-dimensional (2D) in-plane heterostructures demonstrate to be an appealing approach to address above obstacles. Herein, we fabricate 2D in-plane heterostructured Ag_(2)S-In_(2)S_(3) atomic layers via an ion-exchange strategy. Photoluminescence spectra, time-resolved photoluminescence spectra, and photoelectrochemical measurements firmly affirm the optimized carrier dynamics of the In_(2)S_(3) atomic layers after the introduction of in-plane heterostructure. In-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectra and density functional theory (DFT) calculations disclose the in-plane heterostructure contributes to CO_(2) activation and modulates the adsorption strength of CO* intermediates to facilitate the formation of CHO* intermediates, which are further protonated to CH4. In consequence, the in-plane heterostructure achieves the CH_(4) evolution rate of 20 µmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1), about 16.7 times higher than that of the In2S3 atomic layers. 12NAS4RRAM: neural network architecture search for inference on RRAM-based accelerators显示文摘The RRAM-based accelerators enable fast and energy-efficient inference for neural networks.However, there are some requirements to deploy neural networks on RRAM-based accelerators, which are not considered in existing neural networks.(1) Because the noise problem and analog-digital converters/digitalanalog converters(ADC/DAC) affect the prediction accuracy, they should be modeled in networks.(2) Because the weights are mapped to the RRAM cells, they should be quantized, and the number of weights is limited by the number of RRAM cells in the accelerator. These requirements motivate us to customize the hardware-friendly network for the RRAM-based accelerator. We take the idea of network architecture search(NAS) to design networks with high prediction accuracy that meet the requirements. We propose a framework called NAS4RRAM to search for the optimal network on the given RRAM-based accelerator. The experiments demonstrate that NAS4RRAM can apply to different RRAM-based accelerators with different scales. 13Sustainability performance analysis of environment innovation systems using a two-stage network DEA model with shared resources显示文摘The term environmental innovation system refers to an innovation network composed of enterprises,universities,and research institutions involved in the development and diffusion of environmental technology,with the participation of a government.An environmental innovation system not only exerts important impact on the achievement of carbon neutrality but also affects social and economic activities.Investigations on environmental innovation system performance constantly assume a singlestage independent system while ignoring its internal structure.However,such systems are composed of environmental innovation research and development(R&D)and environmental innovation conversion subsystems.A two-stage data envelopment analysis(DEA)model is developed in this study to analyze the efficiency of Chinese regional environmental innovation system by opening the'black box'and considering shared resources.Empirical results indicated that China presents high overall environmental innovation efficiency although some regions need to improve.Regions with low efficiencies in both environmental innovation R&D(EIR)and environmental innovation conversion(EIC)subsystems should expand their investment in and strengthen the management of environmental innovation resources.Regions with low EIR efficiency should improve the absorption and transformation of environmental innovation achievements.Regions with low EIC efficiency should increase investment in the commercialization of environmental innovation achievements and encourage green economy industries,such as new energy,art,tourism,and environmental protection.Jiangjiang YANG Jie WU Xingchen LI Qingyuan ZHU 2022Frontiers of Engineering Management2022,9,3:0

15Oral PLGA-based DNA vaccines using interferons as adjuvants remarkably promote the immune protection of grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella)against GCRV infection显示文摘Grass carp hemorrhagic disease caused by grass carp reovirus(GCRV)results in significant economic losses to the global grass carp aquaculture industry.Oral vaccination is an ideal choice for disease precaution in aquaculture.However,oral vaccine can be degraded in the gut.Therefore,the selection of loading materials is essential.In this study,the S6 and S7 fragments(encoding the outer capsid protein VP4 and fibronectin VP56 of GCRV)and grass carp interferons(IFNs),including IFN1,IFN3,and IFNγ2 were used to create DNA vaccines and adjuvants based on pcDNA3.1,respectively.The oral DNA vaccine was encapsulated in poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)with IFNs.The PLGA-PVA(PP)nano-microspheres were prepared by double emulsionsolvent evaporation technique.Using transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering assays,it was determined the vaccines had a spherical structure with uniform particle size(643.5±35.3 nm).The nanomicrospheres possessed excellent encapsulation efficiency(81.6±2.6%)and loading rate(0.54±0.02%),and simultaneously exhibited negligible hemolytic activity and cell toxicity.The protection rate and tissue viral loads post-GCRV challenge in grass carp were assessed.The oral PP nano-microsphere with pVP4 t pIFN1(PP41)vaccine increased protection rate by 44%compared with the control group and was correlated with relatively low viral loads in the spleen,head kidney,and hindgut.Further,three crucial serum biochemical indexes,total superoxide dismutase(TSOD),complement C3(C3),and lysozyme(LZM),were also dramatically increased.Furthermore,mRNA expressions of representative immune-related genes(IgM,IFN1,IFNγ2,MHC-I,and CD8α)in the head kidney and spleen were significantly enhanced.In addition,mRNA expression of IgT was significantly boosted in the hindgut.The results indicate that DNA vaccine capsulated with PP is effective against GCRV infection.The present study provides insights into a prospective strategy for oral vaccine development in aquaculture.Chaolin Jiang Xingchen Huo Lingjie Tang Meidi Hu Chunrong Yang Daji Luo Jianguo Su 2023Water Biology and Security2023,2,2:0
16COPPER:a combinatorial optimization problem solver with processing-in-memory architecture显示文摘The combinatorial optimization problem(COP),which aims to find the optimal solution in discrete space,is fundamental in various fields.Unfortunately,many COPs are NP-complete,and require much more time to solve as the problem scale increases.Troubled by this,researchers may prefer fast methods even if they are not exact,so approximation algorithms,heuristic algorithms,and machine learning have been proposed.Some works proposed chaotic simulated annealing(CSA)based on the Hopfield neural network and did a good job.However,CSA is not something that current general-purpose processors can handle easily,and there is no special hardware for it.To efficiently perform CSA,we propose a software and hardware co-design.In software,we quantize the weight and output using appropriate bit widths,and then modify the calculations that are not suitable for hardware implementation.In hardware,we design a specialized processing-in-memory hardware architecture named COPPER based on the memristor.COPPER is capable of efficiently running the modified quantized CSA algorithm and supporting the pipeline further acceleration.The results show that COPPER can perform CSA remarkably well in both speed and energy.Qiankun WANG Xingchen LI Bingzhe WU Ke YANG Wei HU Guangyu SUN Yuchao YANG 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,5:0

19Amino acids modified nanoscale zero-valent iron:Density functional theory calculations,experimental synthesis and application in the Fenton-like degradation of organic solvents显示文摘To improve the adsorption and catalytic performance of heterogeneous Fenton-like catalysts for oil wastes,amino acids were used to modify nanoscale zero-valent iron(AA@Fe^(0)),which were applied in the Fenton-like degradation of organic solvents(tributyl phosphate and n-dodecane,named TBP and DD).Twelve amino acids,i.e.,glycine(Gly),alanine(Ala),leucine(Leu),proline(Pro),phenylalanine(Phe),methionine(Met),cysteine(Cys),asparagine(Asn),serine(Ser),glutamic acid(Glu),lysine(Lys)and arginine(Arg),were selected and calculated by density functional theory(DFT).The optimized structure,charge distribution,the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO),the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO),interaction region indicator(IRI)isosurface map and adsorption energy of AA@Fe^(0),AA@Fe^(0)-TBP and AA@Fe^(0)-DD were studied,which indicated that Fe is more likely to approach and charge transfer with-COO and-NH_(3) on theα-carbon of amino acids.There is strong attraction between Fe and–COO,and Van der Waals force between Fe and-NH_(3),respectively.In the interaction of AA@Fe^(0)with TBP and DD,Van der Waal force plays an important role.AA@Fe^(0)was synthesized in laboratory and characterized to investigate physicochemical properties.In Fenton-like degradation of organic solvents,the change of COD in water phase during the degradation process as well as the volume of the organic phase after the reaction were investigated.The results of calculations combined with experiments showed that Ser-modified Fe^(0)performed the best in these amino acids,with 98%removal of organic solvents.A possible catalytic mechanism was proposed in which amino acids acted a linking role between Fe and organic solvents,activating H_(2)O_(2)to generate hydroxyl radicals for the degradation of organic solvents.Xingchen Yang Fucheng Ming Jianlong Wang Lejin Xu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,1:0
20Patterning of large area nanoscale domains in as-grown epitaxial ferroelectric PbTiO_(3)films显示文摘Effective tuning of nanoscale domain structures provides fundamental basis for controlling and engineering of various functionalities in ferroelectric materials.In this work,we demonstrate the precise patterning of nanoscopic domain structures in as-grown epitaxial PbTiO_(3)(PTO)films by merely introducing an ultrathin pre-patterned doping layer(e.g.,Fe-doped PTO).The doping layer can effectively reverse the interfacial built-in bias,consequent to a reversed initial polarization reorientation in the as-grown film,which makes it possible to transfer the nano-patterns in the doping layer into the domain structure of ferroelectric films.For instance,we have successfully fabricated large area ordered array of nanoscale cylindrical domains(downward polarization)embedded in the matrix domain with opposite polarization(upward polarization)in PTO film.These nanoscale cylinder domains also allow deterministic and reversible erasure and creation induced by biased tip scanning.The results provide an effective pathway for on-demand patterning of large area nanoscale domains in the as-grown films,which may find applications in a wide range of nanoelectronic devices.Luyong Zhang Guo Tian Wenda Yang Dongfeng Zheng Chuanjie Lin Jianbiao Xian Yihang Guo Xingchen Zhang Xiuqin Qiu Lanping Zhang Zhen Fan Deyang Chen Zhipeng Hou Minghui Qin Jun-Ming Liu Xingsen Gao 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,1:0
