1EXTENSION OF COMBINED SELF-CONSISTENT AND MORI-TANAKA APPROACH TO EVALUATION OF ELASTOPLASTIC PROPERTY OF PARTICULATE COMPOSITES显示文摘The combined self-consistent and Mori-Tanaka approach proposed for the evaluation of the effective elastic property of particulate composites is extended to evaluate the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites.Suppose there are sufficient identical particle inclusions with total volume fraction c in a representative volume element(RVE)of a particulate composite,these inclusions are separated into two groups,with volume fractions(1-λ-1)c and c/λ over the RVE,respectively.We assume that the first group of inclusions has already been embedded in the original matrix to form a fictitious matrix,and the RVE of the composite consists of the fictitious matrix and the second group of particle inclusions.The property of the fictitious matrix is determined by the conventional self-consistent scheme,while the effective elastoplastic property of the composite is determined by the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme.Analysis shows that,the conventional Mori-Tanaka scheme and self-consistent scheme can be obtained as the two limit cases of the extended approach as λ = 1 and λ = ∞,respectively.The constitutive behavior of the inclusions in either Group I or Group II is identical,indicating the consistency in the description of the constitutive behavior in the two steps.Furthermore,the effective elastoplastic behavior of some typical particulate composites is analyzed,and the satisfactory agreement between the computational and experimental results demonstrates the validity of the extended approach.The introduced λ can serve reasonably as a parameter,which is related to the actual property of composites and can be identified by experiments,for a more accurate evaluation of the effective elastoplastic property of particulate composites.Xianghe Peng Ning Hu Xuesong Long Hengwei Zheng 2013Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,1:5

3MICROMECHANICAL DAMAGE MODEL FOR ROCKS AND CONCRETES SUBJECTED TO COUPLED TENSILE AND SHEAR STRESSES显示文摘Based on the analysis of the deformation in an infinite isotropic elastic matrix with an embedded elliptic crack under far field coupled tensile and shear stresses, the energy release rate and a mixed fracture criterion are obtained using an energy balance approach. The additional compliance tensor induced by a single opening elliptic microcrack in a representative volume element is derived, and the effect of microcracks with random orientations is analyzed with the Taylor’s scheme by introducing an appropriate probability density function. 4A CONSTITUTIVE MODEL FOR TRANSFORMATION, REORIENTATION AND PLASTIC DEFORMATION OF SHAPE MEMORY ALLOYS显示文摘A constitutive model is developed for the transformation, reorientation and plastic deformation of shape memory alloys (SMAs). It is based on the concept that an SMA is a mixture composed of austenite and martensite, the volume fraction of each phase is transformable with the change of applied thermal-mechanical loading, and the constitutive behavior of the SMA is the combination of the individual behavior of its two phases. The deformation of the martensite is separated into elastic, thermal, reorientation and plastic parts, and that of the austenite is separated into elastic, thermal and plastic parts. Making use of the Tanaka's transformation rule modified by taking into account the effect of plastic deformation, the constitutive model of the SMA is obtained. 5Biological Characteristics of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp.niveum Isolated from Watermelon Cultivated in Plastic Greenhouse and Indoor Toxicity Determination of Different Fungicides in Hainan Province of China显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to study biological characteristics of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.niveum in watermelon cultivated in plastic greenhouse in Hainan Province of China and to determine indoor toxicity of fungicides.[Method]Effects of various factors on mycelial growth and spore germination were studied,and the lethal temperature of spores and indoor toxicity of fungicides were also determined.[Result]The fungal mycelium had a better growth rate on watermelon juice medium than the others.The optimum temperature for mycelial growth and spore germination were 28℃and 30℃,and the optimum pH values were7-8 and 7-9,respectively.Light-dark alternation was conducive for mycelial growth.The lethal temperature of spore was 60℃for 5 min.The fungal mycelium grew better while taking fructose and glucose as carbon sources and yeast extract and peptone as nitrogen sources.Toxicity determination showed that 50%prochloraz-manganese chloride complex WP had the greatest inhibition effect on mycelial growth,with the EC50value of 0.730 9μg/mL;followed by 32.5%benzoic azoxystrobin SC,30%benzoylate·propiconazol EC,10%difenoconazole WG,25%bromothalonil·carbendazim WP and 25%bromothalonil WP,with the EC50values from 1.884 7μg/mL to 8.161 0μg/mL.[Conclusion]The study provided basic data for field control against F.oxysporum f.sp.niveum on watermelon cultivated in plastic greenhouse in Hainan Province.Fan Hongyan Zhou Wenjing Wang Xianghe Luo Zhiwen He Fan 2013Plant Diseases and Pests2013,4,5:2

20Effect of Forchlorfenuron (CPPU) and Ethychlozate on Fruit Development and Quality of Mango Cultivar 'Tainong 1'显示文摘The fruit swelling effect of forchlorfenuron( CPPU) and fruit thinning effect of ethychlozate on Tainong 1 mango( Mangifera indica L. cv.) were studied. Spraying 32 mg/L CPPU at 7 and 21 d post flowering for just once significantly improved the fruit size of mango,but had no significant impact on fruit quality and flavor.
