| 1 | Reactive capillary hemangiomas: a novel dermatologic toxicity following anti-PD-1 treatment with SHR-1210显示文摘Objective: SHR-1210 is a new and promising anti-PD-1 agent for solid tumors. During the phase I study of SHR-1210, we encountered a novel but prevalent immune-related dermatologic toxicity: reactive capillary hemangiomas(RCHs). Thus we tried to summarize the features of RCHs and estimate their relationship with tumor response.Methods: This prospective observational study systematically enrolled 98 patients with advanced solid tumors from April 27th,2016 to June 8th, 2017 in the context of the phase I clinical study of SHR-1210. This report focused on the skin toxicities. Patients underwent entire skin inspection every two weeks while taking medication. The clinical course of RCHs was recorded and their association with tumor response was estimated. The data cut-off date was November 15th, 2017.Results: After a median follow-up of 242(range, 29–567) days, RCHs were observed in 85.7%(84/98) of patients on cutaneous/mucosal surfaces; 84.5%(71/84) of the RCHs were evaluated as grade 1 adverse events. No grade 3 or 4 RCHs were observed. The time of onset of RCHs was dose dependent and shortest in the 400 mg-dose cohort(P < 0.001). Spontaneous and complete regression of RCHs was observed both during and after treatment. The objective response rate of tumors for patients with RCHs was 28.9%(24/83). However, no responders were observed among the patients without RCHs.Conclusions: RCHs were prevalent but manageable during treatment with SHR-1210. | 2 | The distribution rule and seepage effect of the fractures in the ultra-low permeability sandstone reservoir in east Gansu Province,Ordos Basin显示文摘To study the impact of the fractures on development in the ultra-low permeability sandstone reservoir of the Yangchang Formation of the Upper Triassic in the Ordos Basin,data on outcrops,cores,slices,well logging and experiments are utilized to analyze the cause of the formation of the fractures,their distribution rules and the control factors and discuss the seepage flow effect of the fractures. In the studied area developed chiefly high-angle tectonic fractures and horizontal bedding fractures,inter-granular fractures and grain boundary fractures as well. Grain boundary fractures and intragranular fractures serve as vital channels linking intragranular pores and intergranular solution pores in the reservoir matrix,thus providing a good connectivity between the pores in the ultra-low perme-ability sandstone reservoir. The formation of fractures and their distribution are influenced by such external and internal factors as the palaeo-tectonic stress field,the reservoir lithological character,the thickness of the rock layer and the anisotropy of a layer. The present-day stress field influences the preservative state of fractures and their seepage flow effect. Under the tec-tonic effect of both the Yanshan and Himalayan periods,in this region four sets of fractures are distributed,respectively assuming the NE-SW,NW-SE,nearly E-W and nearly S-N orientations,but,due to the effect of the rock anisotropy of the rock formation,in some part of it two groups of nearly orthogonal fractures are chiefly distributed. Under the effect of the present-day stress field,the fractures that assume the NE-SW direction have a good connectivity,big apertures,a high permeability and a minimum starting pressure,all of which are main advantages of the seepage fractures in this region. | 4 | Space Debris Reentry Analysis Methods and Tools显示文摘The reentry of uncontrolled spacecraft may be broken into many pieces of debris at an altitude in the range of 75-85 km. The surviving fragments could pose great hazard and risk to ground and people. In recent years, methods and tools for predicting and analyzing debris reentry and ground risk assessment have been studied and developed in National Aeronautics and Space Ad-ministration (NASA), European Space Agency (ESA) and other organizations, including the group of the present authors. This paper reviews the current progress on this topic of debris reentry briefly. We outline the Monte Carlo method for uncertainty analysis, breakup prediction, and parameters affecting survivability of debris. The existing analysis tools can be classified into two categories, i.e. the object-oriented and the spacecraft-oriented methods, the latter being more accurate than the first one. The past object-oriented tools include objects of only simple shapes. For more realistic simulation, here we present an object-oriented tool debris reentry and ablation prediction system (DRAPS) developed by the present authors, which introduces new object shapes to 15 types, as well as 51 predefined motions and relevant aerodynamic and aerothermal models. | 5 | Effects of viral infection and microbial diversity on patients with sepsis:A retrospective study based on metagenomic next-generation sequencing显示文摘BACKGROUND: The study aims to investigate the performance of a metagenomic next-generationsequencing (NGS)-based diagnostic technique for the identifi cation of potential bacterial and viral infectionsand eff ects of concomitant viral infection on the survival rate of intensive care unit (ICU) sepsis patients.METHODS: A total of 74 ICU patients with sepsis who were admitted to our institution from February1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 were enrolled. Separate blood samples were collected from patients for bloodcultures and metagenomic NGS when the patients’ body temperature was higher than 38 °C. Patients’demographic data, including gender, age, ICU duration, ICU scores, and laboratory results, were recorded.The correlations between pathogen types and sepsis severity and survival rate were evaluated.RESULTS: NGS produced higher positive results (105 of 118;88.98%) than blood cultures(18 of 118;15.25%) over the whole study period. Concomitant viral infection correlated closelywith sepsis severity and had the negative effect on the survival of patients with sepsis. However,correlation analysis indicated that the bacterial variety did not correlate with the severity of sepsis.CONCLUSIONS: Concurrent viral load correlates closely with the severity of sepsis and thesurvival rate of the ICU sepsis patients. | 9 | Effect of proteolytic starter culture isolated from Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)on microbiological,biochemical and organoleptic attributes in dry fermented sausages显示文摘The effect of a proteolytic starter culture isolated from Nanx Wudl,on microbiological,biochemical and organoleptic attributes of dry fermented sausages was investigated during processing.Based on preliminary screening,the combination of Staphylococcus xylosus SX16 and Lactobacillus plantarum CMRC6,showing excellent proteolytic activity in vitro,was selected as the multi-strain starter(starter LS).For comparison,the single-strain starter culture of L.plantarum CMRC6(starter LB)and non-inoculated control were also tested.During fermentation,lactic acid bacteria and staphylococci dominated the microbiota and suppressed the Enterobacteriaceae growth in LS-inoculated sausages.The addition of LS starter accelerated acidification and proteolysis during ripening,improving the contents of total free amino acids and several essential free amino acids(Phe,Ile and Leu).Volatile compounds analysis revealed that LS-fermented sausage showed the highest abundance of 3-methyl-1-butanol,probably due to the inoculated S.xylosus.The inoculation of LS starter improved the sensory properties of sausages,especially the flavor attribute.Therefore,S.xylosus SX16 and L.plantarum CMRC6 are promising candidates for inclusion as multi-strain starters in the manufacture of gourmet fermented dry sausage. | Xi Chen Ruifang Mi Biao Qi Suyue Xiong Jiapeng Li Chao Qu Xiaoling Qiao Wenhua Chen Shouwei Wang | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,1: | 9 |

| 11 | Arabidopsis SUMO protease ASP1 positively regulates flowering time partially through regulating FLC stability显示文摘The initiation of flowering is tightly regulated by the endogenous and environment signals, which is crucial for the reproductive success of flowering plants. It is well known that autonomous and vernalization pathways repress transcription of FLOWERING LOCUS C(FLC), a focal floral repressor, but how its protein stability is regulated remains largely unknown. Here, we found that mutations in a novel Arabidopsis SUMO protease 1(ASP1) resulted in a strong late-flowering phenotype under long-days, but to a lesser extent under short-days. ASP1 localizes in the nucleus and exhibited a SUMO protease activity in vitro and in vivo. The conserved Cys-577 in ASP1 is critical for its enzymatic activity, as well as its physiological function in the regulation of flowering time. Genetic and gene expression analyses demonstrated that ASP1 promotes transcription of positive regulators of flowering, such as FT,SOC1 and FD, and may function in both CO-dependent photoperiod pathway and FLC-dependent pathways.Although the transcription level of FLC was not affected in the loss-of-function asp1 mutant, the protein stability of FLC was increased in the asp1 mutant. | 12 | Development and CommercialApplication of RSDS-II Technology for Selective Hydrodesulfurization of FCC Naphtha显示文摘The FCC naphtha selective hydrodesulfurization technology(RSDS-II)has been tested with different feedstocks in pilot scale.The results show that RSDS-II technology is viable in terms of its adaptability to different feedstocks.To produce gasoline with a sulfur content of less than 50μg/g by the RSDS-II technology,the gasoline RON loss is less than 1.8,0.9and 0.2 units,respectively,upon processing the conventional high-sulfur and high-olefin FCC naphtha,the high-sulfur MIP naphtha,and the medium-sulfur or low-sulfur MIP naphtha.Upon using the naphtha produced from pre-hydrotreated FCC feedstock as the RSDS-II feedstock to manufacture gasoline with a sulfur content of lower than 10μg/g,the RON loss does not exceed 1.0 unit.The RSDS-II technology has been commercialized successfully at many refineries.The result of operating commercial RSDS-II unit at the Shanghai Petrochemical Company has revealed that upon processing a feedstock containing 38.7 v% —43.3 v% of olefins and 250—470 mg/g of sulfur,the sulfur content in the treated gasoline ranges from 33μg/g to 46μg/g and the RON loss is equal to only 0.3—0.6 units.Till now this RSDS-II unit has been operating smoothly over 30 months.Thanks to its high HDS activity and good selectivity,the RSDS-II technology can meet the refinery’s needs for adequate upgrading of gasoline. | Qu Jinhua Xi Yuanbing Li Mingfeng Pan Guangcheng Jin Xin Gao Xiaodong Nie Hong | 2013 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,3: | 6 |

By defining novel configuration error and velocity error, the dynamics of error systems are derived. By applying Lyapunov stability method, the state feedback control laws are designed and the close-loop error systems are proved to be uniformly asymptotically stable by Matrosov theorem. In particular, the controller does not need knowledge on system parameters in the case of set-point stabilization, which makes the controller robust with respect to parameter uncertainty. | 16 | Whole Genome Analyses of Chinese Population and De Novo Assembly of A Northern Han Genome显示文摘To unravel the genetic mechanisms of disease and physiological traits,it requires comprehensive sequencing analysis of large sample size in Chinese populations.Here,we report the primary results of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Precision Medicine Initiative(CASPMI)project launched by the Chinese Academy of Sciences,including the de novo assembly of a northern Han reference genome(NH1.0)and whole genome analyses of 597 healthy people coming from most areas in China.Given the two existing reference genomes for Han Chinese(YH and HX1)were both from the south,we constructed NH1.0,a new reference genome from a northern individual,by combining the sequencing strategies of PacBio,10×Genomics,and Bionano mapping.Using this integrated approach,we obtained an N50 scaffold size of 46.63 Mb for the NH1.0 genome and performed a comparative genome analysis of NH1.0 with YH and HX1.In order to generate a genomic variation map of Chinese populations,we performed the whole-genome sequencing of 597 participants and identified 24.85 million(M)single nucleotide variants(SNVs),3.85 M small indels,and 106,382 structural variations.In the association analysis with collected phenotypes,we found that the T allele of rs1549293 in KAT8 significantly correlated with the waist circumference in northern Han males.Moreover,significant genetic diversity in MTHFR,TCN2,FADS1,and FADS2,which associate with circulating folate,vitamin B12,or lipid metabolism,was observed between northerners and southerners.Especially,for the homocysteine-increasing allele of rs1801133(MTHFR 677T),we hypothesize that there exists a “comfort”zone for a high frequency of 677T between latitudes of 35–45 degree North.Taken together,our results provide a high-quality northern Han reference genome and novel population-specific data sets of genetic variants for use in the personalized and precision medicine. | Zhenglin Du Liang Ma Hongzhu Qu Wei Chen Bing Zhang Xi Lu Weibo Zhai Xin Sheng Yongqiao Sun Wenjie Li Meng Lei Qiuhui Qi Na Yuan Shuo Shi Jingyao Zeng Jinyue Wang Yadong Yang Qi Liu Yaqiang Hong Lili Dong Zhewen Zhang Dong Zou Yanqing Wang Shuhui Song Fan Liu Xiangdong Fang Hua Chen Xin Liu Jingfa Xiao Changqing Zeng | 2019 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2019,17,3: | 4 |
| 17 | Predominant yeasts in Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)and their aroma-producing properties in fermented sausage condition显示文摘Yeasts are one of the predominant microbial groups in fermented meats.In this study,yeast communities of Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)were investigated and the technological properties of 73 yeast isolates were evaluated.Through culture-dependent and high-throughput sequencing methods,the main yeast species identified included Pichia membranifaciens,Kazachstania bulderi,Millerozyma farinosa,Candida zeylanoides,Kazachstania exigua,Candida parapsilosis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.Among these yeasts,P.membranifaciens,M.farinosa,K.exigua and K.bulderi were detected in fermented meats for the first time.A total of 73 yeast isolates was investigated for their lipolytic and proteolytic activities.All yeast species showed lipolytic activity,while proteolytic activity against meat protein was only detected in S.cerevisiae.Assay of aroma-producing potential was performed in a model simulating fermented sausage condition.Inoculation of yeast strains increased volatiles production,especially esters and alcohols.The highest ester production was observed in S.cerevisiae Y70 strain,followed by K.exigua Y12 and K.bulderi Y19.C.zeylanoides Y10 and S.cerevisiae Y70 were the highest producers of benzeneethanol and 3-methyl-1-butanol.S.cerevisiae Y70 with its highest production of branched alcohols and esters could be a promising candidate as aroma enhancer in the manufacture of fermented sausages. | Ruifang Mi Xi Chen Suyue Xiong Biao Qi Jiapeng Li Xiaoling Qiao Wenhua Chen Chao Qu Shouwei Wang | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,2: | 3 |
| 18 | Efficacy of irinotecan-based chemotherapy after exposure to an anti-PD-1 antibody in patients with advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective:Several anti-programmed cell death 1(anti-PD-1)antibodies have demonstrated potential efficacy in the treatment of advanced esophageal squamous cell cancer(ESCC).However,the response to subsequent chemotherapy after the failure of PD-1 blockade in ESCC patients has not been reported,and the optimal sequencing of immunotherapy and chemotherapy remains controversial.The aim of the present study was to evaluate responses to irinotecan-based subsequent chemotherapy in advanced ESCC patients who had progressed after treatment with camrelizumab(SHR-1210),a novel anti-PD-1 antibody.Methods:We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients with advanced ESCC treated with camrelizumab at a single institution.Consecutive patients who received subsequent irinotecan-based chemotherapy were selected for data collection and analysis.Results:Overall,a total of 28 patients were included.All patients had received at least two lines of systemic treatment prior to irinotecan salvage.The most common regimen that was administered after PD-1 blockade was irinotecan in combination with 5-fluorouracil(5-Fu)(or its derivatives),which was given to 19 patients.The objective response rate(ORR)and disease control rate(DCR)were 17.9%(5/28)and 64.3%(18/28),respectively,with 5(17.9%)patients achieving a partial response and 13(46.4%)having stable disease.The median progressionfree survival(PFS)was 3.18[95%confidence interval(95%CI),2.48-3.88]months and the median overall survival(OS)was 6.23(95%CI,4.71-7.75)months.No new safety issues,either immune-related or otherwise,were observed.Conclusions:Our results suggested that the response to irinotecan-based chemotherapy after PD-1 blockade in advanced ESCC patients appeared similar to that previously observed in patients who had not received PD-1 antibodies,and further study in larger cohorts or randomized trials is warranted to verify our observation. | Bo Zhang Xi Wang Qun Li Hongnan Mo Xingyuan Wang Yan Song Jianping Xu Tao Qu Jing Huang | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,6: | 3 |
