| 1 | The Impacts of Permafrost Change on NPP and Implications:A Case of the Source Regions of Yangtze and Yellow Rivers显示文摘This paper studies the relationship between net primary productivity (NPP) and annual average air temperature (GT) at 0cm above ground in permafrost regions by using revised Chikugo NPP model,cubic spline interpolating functions,and non-linear regression methods.The source regions of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers were selected as the research areas.Results illustrate that:(1) There is significant non-linear relationship between NPP and GT in various typical years;(2) The maximum value of NPP is 6.17,5.87,7.73,and 5.41 DM·t·hm-2 ·a-1 respectively,and the corresponding GT is 7.1,10.0,21.2,and 8.9 o C respectively in 1980,1990,2000 and 2007;(3) In 1980,the sensitivity of NPP to GT is higher than in 1990,2000 and 2007.This tendency shows that the NPP presents change from fluctuation to an adaptation process over time;(4) During 1980~2007,the accumulated NPP was reduced to 8.05,and the corresponding carrying capacity of theoretical livestock reduced by 11%;(5) The shape of the demonstration region of ecological compensation system,livelihood support system,and science appraisal system in the source regions of Yangtze and Yellow Rivers are an important research for increasing the adaptation capacity and balancing protection and development. | FANG Yiping QIN Dahe DING Yongjian YANG Jianping XU Keyan | 2011 | Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,3: | 9 |

| 5 | Nickel(Ⅱ) removal from water using silica-based hybrid adsorbents:Fabrication and adsorption kinetics显示文摘A series of novel silica-based hybrid adsorbents were prepared by the crosslinking reaction of N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ethylene diamine(TMSPEDA) with epichlorohydrin(ECH) via a sol–gel process.Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectra confirmed that the reaction occurred.TGA curves showed that the thermal stability of these hybrid adsorbents reached as high as 180 °C.As a typical example,the adsorption performance of nickel(II) ions onto an adsorbent(the volume ratio of TMSPEDA and ECH was 4:1) was explored.It was found that the adsorption of nickel(II) ions onto this adsorbent followed the Lagergren pseudo-second-order kinetic model.The investigation of the adsorption mechanism demonstrated that nickel(II) adsorption was chiefly controlled by diffusion–chemisorption,suggesting that more diffusion processes were involved in the adsorption of nickel(II) ions onto this type of adsorbents.Desorption experiment indicates that these hybrid adsorbents can be regenerated.These findings reveal that this type of silica-based hybrid adsorbent is promising in the separation and recovery of nickel(II) ions from Ni-containing wastewater or contaminated water. | Min Xu Junsheng Liu Keyan Hu Congyong Xu Yaoyao Fang | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,10: | 1 |

| 7 | Reducing Packing Factor of Znln2S4 to Promote Photocatalytic Activity显示文摘Due to the quite sluggish charge-carrier separation in semiconductor photocatalysts,the photocatalytic ac-tivity of these materials is still far inferior than anticipated.Herein,a novel approach to reducing the packing factor(PF)of Znln2S4 semiconductors to improve the charge-carrier separation is offered.The well-crystallized Zn1-xIn2S4-x(x=0,0.05,0.1)powders were productively prepared through solid-state reactions.Their structures were verified by the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy,powder X-ray diffraction,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The PE values of Zn1-xIn2S4-x(x=0,0.05,0.1)samples were calculated to be 0.683.0.651.and 0.618.respectively.The reduction.of the PF for Zn1-xIn2S4-x with increasing x can promote the separation of photoexcited carriers,and this process was endorsed by their photoelectric response and photoluminescence emission spectra.The Zn0.9In2S3.9 sample with a lower PF value presents roughly 21 times higher photocurrent density and four times higher photodegrading rate of methyl orange than those of pristine ZnIn2S4. | HU Keyan XU Zian LIU Yiting HUANG Fuqiang | 2020 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6: | 0 |
| 8 | Gene cloning,protein expression,and enzymatic characterization of a double-stranded RNA degrading enzyme in Apolygus lucorum显示文摘RNA interference(RNAi)is a powerful tool that post-transcriptionally silences target genes in eukaryotic cells.However,silencing efficacy varies greatly among different insect species.Recently,we met with little success when attempting to knock down genes in the mirid bug Apolygus lucorum via dsRNA injection.The disappearance of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)could be a potential factor that restricts RNAi efficiency.Here,we found that dsRNA can be degraded in midgut fluids,and a dsRNase of A.lucorum(AldsRNase)was identified and characterized.Sequence alignment indicated that its 6 key amino acid residues and the Mg2+-binding site were similar to those of other insects’dsRNases.The signal peptide and endonuclease non-specific domain shared high sequence identity with the brown-winged green stinkbug Plautia stali dsRNase.AldsRNase showed high salivary gland and midgut expression and was continuously expressed through the whole life cycle,with peaks at the 4th instar ecdysis in the whole body.The purified AldsRNase protein obtained by heterologously expressed can rapidly degrade dsRNA.When comparing the substrate specificity of AldsRNase,3 specific substrates(dsRNA,small interfering RNA,and dsDNA)were all degraded,and the most efficient degradation is dsRNA.Subsequently,immunofluorescence revealed that AldsRNase was expressed in the cytoplasm of midgut cells.Through cloning and functional study of AldsRNase,the enzyme activity and substrate specificity of the recombinant protein,as well as the subcellular localization of nuclease,the reason for the disappearance of dsRNA was explained,which was useful in improving RNAi efficiency in A.lucorum and related species. | Jie-Yu Zhang Jing Zhao Keyan Zhu-Salzman Qin-Qin Ji Yi-Ping Jiang Liu-Bin Xiao De-Jin Xu Guang-Chun Xu Lin-Quan Ge Yong-An Tan | 2024 | Insect Science2024,31,1: | 0 |
