1Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus:A new proposed Fijivirus species in the family Reoviridae显示文摘For the past several years, a novel dwarf disease has been observed on rice (Oryza sativa) in some regions of Guangdong Province and Hainan Province, southern China. Infected plants showed stunting, dark leaf and small enations on stem and leaf back. Typical Fijivirus viroplasma containing crystalline arrayed spherical virons approximately 70―75 nm in diameter and tubular structures were detected in ultrathin sections by an electron microscope in parenchyma phloem cells of the infected plants. The virus was transmitted to rice seedlings by white-backed planthoppers, Sogatella furcifera (Hemiptera: Delphacidae), collected in the diseased fields. Analysis of dsRNA extracts from infected plants revealed ten linear segments, which were similar to the electrophoretic profile of Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV). RT-PCR with a single primer which matched to a linker sequence ligated to both 3′ ends of the viral genomic dsRNAs resulted in amplification of genome segments 9 (S9) and 10 (S10) cDNA products. The complete nucleotide sequences of S9 and S10 were obtained from clones of the RT-PCR amplicon exhibited characteristic properties of Fijivirus including low GC content (34.5% and 35.6%), genus conserved 5′ and 3′ termini sequences and similar genome organization. Blast searches indicated that the sequences of S9 and S10 shared 68.8%―74.9% and 67.1%―77.4% nucleotide identities with those of viruses in the Fijivirus group 2, respectively. These values were similar to those among other viruses in the Fijivirus group 2 and considerably lower than those among RBSDV isolates. Phylogenetic trees based on S9 and S10 nucleotide sequences and their putative amino acid sequences showed that this virus represented a separate branch among other Fijiviruses. The virus was also detected by a nested RT-PCR assay in corn (Zea mays), barnyard grass (Echinochloa crusgalli), Juncellus serotinus and flaccidgrass (Pennisetum flaccidum) in and/or adjacent to the infected rice fields. 2Performance Evaluation of Two-Vector-Based Model Predictive Current Control of PMSM Drives显示文摘Conventional model predictive current control(MPCC)applies only one vector during one control period,which produces large torque and flux ripples and high current harmonics in permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)drives.Recently MPCC with duty cycle control has been proposed to improve the steady state performance by applying one non-zero vector and one null vector during one control period.However,the prior method requires lots of calculations and predictions to find the optimal voltage vectors and calculate their respective duration.Different from prior enumeration-based MPCC,this paper proposes an efficient two-vector MPCC by applying two arbitrary voltage vectors during one control period.The reference voltage vector is firstly calculated based on the principle of deadbeat current control.Two optimal vectors and their duration are then obtained in a very efficient way,which does not require the calculation of current slopes in prior MPCC methods.The proposed method is compared to the state-of-the-art predictive control methods,including conventional MPCC,MPCC with duty cycle control,deadbeat control with space vector modulation(SVM)and modulated model predictive control(M2PC).Both simulation and experimental results prove that the proposed method achieves better steady state performance than conventional MPCC with or without duty cycle and the dynamic response is not degraded.Under the condition of insufficient dc bus voltage,the proposed method outperforms deadbeat control and M2PC by presenting even higher speed range and less torque ripples.Yongchang Zhang Lanlan Huang Donglin Xu Jiali Liu Jialin Jin 2018Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2018,4,2:9
3Suspension mechanism and application of sand-suspended slurry for coalmine fire prevention显示文摘North and west China has abundant coal resources, however, such resources make these regions prone to serious mine fire disasters. Although the copious sand and fly ash resources found in these areas can be used as fire-fighting materials, conventional grouting is expensive because of water shortage and loess particles. A new compound material(i.e., a sand-suspended colloid), which comprises a mineral inorganic gel and an organic polymer, is developed in the current study to improve the quality of sand injection and reduce water wastage when grouting. The new material can steadily suspend the sand, through the addition of a small amount of colloid yielding steady sand-suspended slurry. The process of producing the slurry is convenient and quick, overcoming the shortage of sand-suspending thickeners which need heat and are difficult to produce. The space work model based on the theory of the double-electric layer is established to study the suspended mechanism of the solid particles in the sand-suspended colloid.The dispersion effect of the sand-suspended colloid is demonstrated by the incorporation of the electrostatic effect by the double-electric layer and the steric hindrance effect on the sand particles, ensuring the stability of the colloid system and the steady suspension of sand particles in the sand-suspended colloid.Mechanical analysis indicates that the sand is suspended steadily under the condition that the rock sand particles stress on the lower part of the fluid is less than the yield stress of the colloid. 4Deformation effect of lateral roof roadway in close coal seams after repeated mining显示文摘This paper analyzed the deformation mechanism in lateral roof roadway of the Ding Wu-3 roadway which was disturbed by repeated mining of close coal seams Wu-8 and Wu-10 in Pingdingshan No. 1Mine. To determine the strata disturbance scope, the strata displacement angle was used to calculate the protection pillar width. A numerical model was built considering the field geological conditions. In simulation, the mining stress borderline was defined as the contour where the induced stress is 1.5 times of the original stress. Simulation results show the mining stress borderline of the lateral roadway extended 91.7 m outward after repeated mining. Then the original stress increased, deforming the roadway of interest. This deformation agreed with the in situ observations. Moreover, the strata displacement angle changed due to repeated mining. Therefore, reselection of the displacement angle was required to design the protective pillar width. 11Improving the accuracy of genomic prediction for meat quality traits using whole genome sequence data in pigs显示文摘Background Pork quality can directly affect customer purchase tendency and meat quality traits have become valu-able in modern pork production.However,genetic improvement has been slow due to high phenotyping costs.In this study,whole genome sequence(WGS)data was used to evaluate the prediction accuracy of genomic best linear unbiased prediction(GBLUP)for meat quality in large-scale crossbred commercial pigs.Results We produced WGS data(18,695,907 SNPs and 2,106,902 INDELs exceed quality control)from 1,469 sequenced Duroc×(Landrace×Yorkshire)pigs and developed a reference panel for meat quality including meat color score,marbling score,L*(lightness),a*(redness),and b*(yellowness)of genomic prediction.The prediction accuracy was defined as the Pearson correlation coefficient between adjusted phenotypes and genomic estimated breeding values in the validation population.Using different marker density panels derived from WGS data,accuracy differed substantially among meat quality traits,varied from 0.08 to 0.47.Results showed that MultiBLUP outperform GBLUP and yielded accuracy increases ranging from 17.39%to 75%.We optimized the marker density and found medium-and high-density marker panels are beneficial for the estimation of heritability for meat quality.Moreover,we conducted genotype imputation from 50K chip to WGS level in the same population and found average concord-ance rate to exceed 95%and r^(2)=0.81.Conclusions Overall,estimation of heritability for meat quality traits can benefit from the use of WGS data.This study showed the superiority of using WGS data to genetically improve pork quality in genomic prediction.Zhanwei Zhuang Jie Wu Yibin Qiu Donglin Ruan Rongrong Ding Cineng Xu Shenping Zhou Yuling Zhang Yiyi Liu Fucai Ma Jifei Yang Ying Sun Enqin Zheng Ming Yang Gengyuan Cai Jie Yang Zhenfang Wu 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,5:1
12Robust transport of charge carriers in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe_(2) homojunctions with ohmic contact显示文摘Metal-semiconductor ohmic contacts are required to reduce the energy dissipation for two-dimensional (2D) electronic devices, and phase engineering of 2D transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) is a promising approach for building ohmic contacts. Here, 2D in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunctions were prepared by direct epitaxy via vapor deposition. The interface properties of in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were investigated in detail by combining experiments, calculations and theories. The ohmic contact properties of 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were proved according to Kelvin force probe microscopy and density functional theory calculations. The charge carriers robust transport in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction without Fermi-level pinning can be well described by Poisson equation and band alignment. 15PITX2 in pancreatic stellate cells promotes EMT in pancreatic cancer cells via the Wnt/β-catenin pathway显示文摘Since the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer is very poor and there is a lack of treatment methods,this study is performed to investigate the function of PITX2 in pancreatic stellate cells(PSCs)in the progression of pancreatic cancer.Scientific hypotheses are proposed according to bioinformatics analysis and tissue microarray analysis.Stable knockdown of PITX2 in PSCs is achieved through lentiviral infection.The relative expressions of PITX2,α-SMA,vimentin,CTNNB1,AXIN1 and LEF1 are measured in wild-type PSCs and PITX2-knockdown PSCs.Proliferative capacity is measured by EdU assay.After coculture with PSCs,the proliferation,invasion and migration capacity of pancreatic cancer cells are tested.EMT and Wnt/β-catenin downstream genes of pancreatic cancer cells are investigated to reveal the potential mechanism.Bioinformatics analysis reveals that the PITX2 gene is highly expressed in stromal cells in pancreatic cancer and is correlated with squamous-type PDAC.Analysis of PDAC tissue microarray further demonstrates that high PITX2 level in stromal cells is correlated with poor prognosis in PDAC.After stable knockdown of PITX2 in PSCs,the relative protein levels ofα-SMA,vimentin,CTNNB1,AXIN1 and LEF1 are decreased,and the proliferative capacity of PSCs is also decreased.After coculture with PSCs,in which PITX2 expression is downregulated,the proliferation,invasion and migration capacities of pancreatic cancer cells are inhibited.Thus,our results show that PITX2-silenced PSCs inhibit the growth,migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells via reduced EMT and Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Di Wu Weibo Chen Yang Yang Yi Qin Guangchen Zu Yue Zhang Yong An Donglin Sun Xiaowu Xu Xuemin Chen 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,9:1
16A new optimization algorithm applied in electromagnetics——Maxwell’s equations derived optimization(MEDO)显示文摘In this paper,a novel global optimization algorithm,named as Maxwell’s equations derived optimization(MEDO),is proposed.Using the Maxwell’s equations to analyse the behaviors of the timevarying current,the Ampere force is obtained from Fleming’s left hand rule.MEDO introduces an‘Ampere force’term,which is derived from Maxwell’s equations and is rigorous in physics,to drive the variables to the global optimal solution in the search space.In addition,introducing‘gravity’to MEDO can increase the stability of the optimizations.11 classical benchmarks are tested,and results show that MEDO can always converge to numerical optimal solutions.To evaluate the proposed MEDO in solving the electromagnetic problems,four practical engineering applications are considered including the linear antenna array synthesis,frequency selected surface optimization,numerical dispersion reduction for finite-difference method,and parameters extraction of typical waveform.These examples are significant in electromagnetics,but tough to be solved because of their high dimensionality and strong nonlinearity.Numerical results show that MEDO can outperform several classic optimization methods,like wind driven optimization(WDO)and particle swarm optimization(PSO).Therefore,the electromagnetics-inspired MEDO is robust and of great potential in solving the electromagnetic optimization problems.Donglin SU Lilin LI Shunchuan YANG Bing LI Guangzhi CHEN Hui XU 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,10:1
17Multiplex network reconstruction for the coupled spatial diffusion of infodemic and pandemic of COVID-19显示文摘The pandemic of COVID-19 witnessed a massive infodemic with the public being bombarded with vast quantities of information.The spreading of neutral and highly accurate reports can guide the public to self-protect and reduce the pandemic.Mis-and dis-information would intrigue panic and high exposure risk to epidemic.Although the infodemic has attracted attentions from the academia,it is still not known to what degree and in which direction the information flows contribute to the COVID-19 pandemic.To fill the gap,we apply network reconstruction techniques to rebuild the hidden multiplex network of information and COVID-19 spreading by which we aim at quantifying the interaction between the propagation of information and the spatial outbreak of COVID-19,and delineate between the positive and negative impact of information on the pandemic.By differentiating the types of media that participated in the information process,we find that in the early stage of COVID-19 pandemic,infodemic does play a critical role to amplify the risk of virus outbreak in China and the risk is even larger for those highly developed regions.Compared to the old-fashion media,the new mobile platforms impose a greater risk to reinforce the positive feedback between infodemic and COVID-19 pandemic.Xiaoqi Zhang Zi-Ke Zhang Wenbo Wang Donglin Hou Jiajing Xu Xinyue Ye Shengwen Li 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,4:1
