1大型植物对湿地中硝酸盐持留的作用显示文摘湿地中硝酸盐的有效持留取决于脱氮作用(反硝化作用)。大型植物通过提供有机碳来支持脱氮作用。可被脱氮细菌利用的有机碳是由大型植物活体和死地被物释放的。大型植物为附生植物(它们也生产有机物质)和脱氮细菌提供附着表面。挺出水面的大型植物一般比浸于水中的大型植物更具生产力,但是浸水大型植物具有较多的附生植物,而且在水柱中为脱氮细菌提供了较大的附着面积。挺水型和浸水型植被在释放有机碳方面具有不同的季节特征。我们认为。对于具富硝酸盐地表径流的湿地脱氮而言,挺水型和浸水型大型植物的混合结构可能是有利的,植被对湿地水力学的影响也必须考虑。沿着水流,在较深处配置浸水型大型植物,而在较浅处,配置挺水型大型植物,这种交错的湿地设计有助于脱氮进程并改善水流的分布。Stefan Weisner Peder Eriksson WilhelmGranéli Lars Leonardson 朱志辉 1994人类环境杂志1994,23,6:6
