1Hypoalbuminemia in colorectal cancer prognosis:Nutritional marker or inflammatory surrogate?显示文摘Albumin is the single most abundant protein in the human serum. Its roles in physiology and pathology are diverse. Serum albumin levels have been classically thought to reflect the nutritional status of patients. This concept has been challenged in the last two decades as multiple factors, such as inflammation, appeared to affect albumin levels independent of nutrition. In general, cancer patients have a high prevalence of hypoalbuminemia. As such, the role of hypoalbuminemia in patients with colorectal cancer has received significant interest. We reviewed the English literature on the prognostic value of pretreatment albumin levels in colorectal cancer. 3Evaluation of effectiveness of polymer coatings in reducing blastinduced deformation of steel plates显示文摘Incorporating elastomers such as polymers in protective structures to withstand high energetic dynamic loads,has gained significant interest.The main objective of this study is to investigate the influence of a Polyurea coating towards the blast-induced response in steel plates.As such,Polyurea coated steel plates were tested under near-field blast loads,produced by the detonation of 1 kg of spherical nitromethane charges,at a standoff distance of 150 mm.Mild steel(XLERPLATE 350)and high-strength steel(BIS80)plates with thicknesses of 10 mm were Polyurea coated with thicknesses of 6 mm and 12 mm on either the front(facing the charge)or the back face.The deformation profiles were measured using 3D scanning.Numerical simulations were performed using the non-linear finite element code LS-DYNA.The strain-dependent behaviour of the steel and Polyurea were represented by Johnson-cook and Money-Rivlin constitutive models,respectively.The numerical models were validated by comparing the plate deflection results obtained from the experiments and were then used in the subsequent parametric study to investigate the optimum thickness of the Polyurea coating.The results indicate that back face coating contributes towards an approximately 20%reduction in the residual deformation as well as the absence of melting of the Polyurea layer,while the front-face coating can be used a means of providing additional standoff distance to the steel plates.Damith Mohotti P.L.N.Fernando Dakshitha Weerasinghe Alex Remennikov 2021Defence Technology(防务技术)2021,17,6:2
4Fully Roll‑to‑Roll Processed Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells via Precise Control on the Morphology of PbI_(2):CsI Layer显示文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted tremendous attention as a promising alternative candidate for clean energy generation.Many attempts have been made with various deposition techniques to scale-up manufacturing.Slot-die coating is a robust and facile deposition technique that can be applied in large-area roll-to-roll(R2R)fabrication of thin film solar cells with the advantages of high material utilization,low cost and high throughput.Herein,we demonstrate the encouraging result of PSCs prepared by slot-die coating under ambient environment using a twostep sequential process whereby PbI_(2):CsI is slot-die coated first followed by a subsequent slot-die coating of organic cations containing solution.A porous PbI_(2):CsI film can promote the rapid and complete transformation into perovskite film.The crystallinity and morphology of perovskite films are significantly improved by optimizing nitrogen blowing and controlling substrate temperature.A power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.13%is achieved,which is promising for PSCs fabricated by two-step fully slot-die-coated devices.Furthermore,PSCs with a 1 cm2 area yield a champion PCE of 15.10%.Moreover,a PCE of 13.00%is obtained on a flexible substrate by the roll-to-roll(R2R)coating,which is one of the highest reported cells with all layers except for metal electrode fabricated by R2R process under ambient condition.Hengyue Li Chuantian Zuo Dechan Angmo Hasitha Weerasinghe Mei Gao Junliang Yang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,5:2
