| 6 | Retrofit design of composite cooling structure of a turbine blade by fluid networks and conjugate heat transfer methods显示文摘This article discusses the development of the numerical methods of gas flow coupled with heat transfer,and introduces the fluid net-works method for rapid prediction of the performance of the composite cooling structures in turbine blade.The reliability of these methods is verified by comparing experimental data.For a HPT rotor blade,a rapid prediction on the internal cooling structures is first made by using the fluid network analysis,then an assessment of aerodynamic and heat transfer characteristics is conducted.Based on the network analysis results,three ways to improve the design of the cooling structures are tested,i.e.,adjusting the cooling gas flow mass ratios for different inner cooling cavities,reducing the flow resistances of the channel turning structures,and improving the local internal cooling structure geometries with high temperature distribution.Through the verification of full three-dimensional gas/solid/coolant conjugate heat transfer calculation,we conclude that the modified design can make the overall temperature distribution more even by significantly reducing the highest temperature of the blade surface,and reasonably matching the parameters of different coolant inlets.The results show that the proposed calculation methods can remarkably reduce the design cycle of complex turbine blade cooling structure. | YAN PeiGang SHI Liang WANG XiangFeng HAN WanJin | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,12: | 5 |

| 9 | Effect of volatile oil from Blumea Balsamifera(L.) DC. leaves on wound healing in mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the effectiveness of violateoil from Blumea Balsamifera(L.) DC. leaves(BB oil)on wound healing in mice.METHODS: Undiluted BB oil and its diluted solutions with olive oil to 1/5 and 1/10 to yield BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 were applied to the wounded skin before wound healing conditions were assessed by healing rate, histopathology, and contents of collagen, hydroxyproline, and Neuropeptide Substance P(SP). All above results were compared with the efficacies of the control, pure olive oil, basic fibroblast growth factor(BFGF), and cream of Jing Wan Hong(JWH).RESULTS: BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 improved wound contraction and closure. Histopathology study further confirmed a desirable histological organization of wound tissues. BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 reduced the number of inflammatory cells, increased wound-healing rates, and significantly increased the hydroxyproline content. Both BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 improved formation of collagen, and reduced the frequency of fibroblasts. Moreover, BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 markedly promoted SP expression. However, undiluted BB oil may induce skin thickening and hardening, inhibite collagen synthesis and delay complete skin wound healing.CONCLUSION: The BB oil1/5and BB oil1/10 promoted capillary regeneration, blood circulation, collagen deposition, granular tissue formation, epithelial deposition, and wound contraction. We apply the particlediscrete phase model to model the solid particles flow, and use the Euler conservation equations to solve thecontinuous phase. The investigation is focused on the influence of the solid particle parameters (such as particlediameter, particle velocity and particle trajectory) on the erosion rate of the stator and rotor blade surface in unsteadycondition. The distributions of the highly eroded zone on the stator and rotor blade surfaces are shown anddiscussed in detail according to the mechanism of solid particle/blade wall interaction. We obtain that the erosionrate of the vane blade is sensitive to the fluctuation of the potential flow field, and the smaller particle has agreater impact on the erosion distribution of rotor blade.
