6Modeling Tracer Flow Characteristics in Different Types of Pores: Visualization and Mathematical Modeling显示文摘Structure of porous media and fluid distribution in rocks can significantly affect the transport characteristics during the process of microscale tracer flow.To clarify the effect of micro heterogeneity on aqueous tracer transport,this paper demonstrates microscopic experiments at pore level and proposes an improved mathematical model for tracer transport.The visualization results show a faster tracer movement into movable water than it into bound water,and quicker occupancy in flowing pores than in storage pores caused by the difference of tracer velocity.Moreover,the proposed mathematical model includes the effects of bound water and flowing porosity by applying interstitial flow velocity expression.The new model also distinguishes flowing and storage pores,accounting for different tracer transport mechanisms(dispersion,diffusion and adsorption)in different types of pores.The resulting analytical solution better matches with tracer production data than the standard model.The residual sum of squares(RSS)from the new model is 0.0005,which is 100 times smaller than the RSS from the standard model.The sensitivity analysis indicates that the dispersion coefficient and flowing porosity shows a negative correlation with the tracer breakthrough time and the increasing slope,whereas the superficial velocity and bound water saturation show a positive correlation.Tongjing Liu Weixia Liu Pengxiang Diwu Gaixing Hu TingXu Yuqi Li Zhenjiang You Runwei Qiao Jia Wang 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,6:1

9Synthesis and Characterization of Cu Decorated Zeolite A@Void@Et-PMO Nanocomposites for Removal of Methylene Blue by a Heterogeneous Fenton Reaction显示文摘Hydrothermal synthesized nano zeolite A has been encapsulated with ethyl bridged periodic mesoporous organosilica(Et-PMO) shell tlirougli a simple modified Stober method and an organosilane-directed growth-induced etching strategy, the obtained yolk-shell structured A@Et-PMO nanocomposite(YS-A@Et-PMO) was further functionalized by the impregnation of copper ions, realizing the composite material with hierarchical porous and catalytic properties. The morphology and metal content of the Cu/A and Cu/YS-A@Et-PMO were fully characterized. As compared to tlie parent material, the composite Cu/YS-A@Et-PMO has an efficient adsorption and catalytic degradation performance on methylene blue(MB), the removal efficiency reached as high as 95% of 60 mg/L MB within 10 min. 12Flexible magnetic thin films and devices显示文摘Flexible electronic devices are highly attractive for a variety of applications such as flexible circuit boards, solar cells, paper-like displays, and sensitive skin, due to their stretchable, biocompatible, light-weight,portable, and low cost properties. Due to magnetic devices being important parts of electronic devices, it is essential to study the magnetic properties of magnetic thin films and devices fabricated on flexible substrates. 17Single-cell analyses identify anaphase-promoting complex subunit 11 as a switch controlling neuronal differentiation of glioblastoma cells显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is the most common and lethal malignancy in the central nervous system.1 One of the major difficulties in treatment is that the initial clinical diagnosis of GBM is already WHO grade IV,without recognizable lower-grade precursor lesions.Copy number variations(CNVs)were found to appear in malignant cells several years before the initial diagnosis of GBM.2 Less differentiation and more aggressive phenotypes were observed in GBM cells with a higher degree of CNVs.3 Additionally,CNVs provide more accurate stratification of clinical outcomes than does the WHO grade system.4 Therefore,we reasoned that differentially expressed genes(DEGs)among GBM cells with different CNV statuses would be significant for the aggressiveness of GBM.Here we leveraged the single-cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq)to construct the CNV profile of GBM at single-cell resolution,divided GBM cells into different clusters according to their CNV statuses,and investigated the molecular functions of DEGs among GBM clusters.Through a series of experiments,we identified anaphase-promoting complex subunit 11(ANAPC11)as a switch controlling the neuronal differentiation of GBM cells,providing a novel alternative for the development of differentiation-inducing therapy to overcome GBM.Runwei Yang Ziyu Wang Songtao Qi Bowen Ni Jinglin Guo Kaishu Li Haimin Song Sidi Xie Yunxiao Zhang Xirang Wang Chunmao He Guanglong Huang Yawei Liu 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,5:0
