1Plasmonic nano-printing: large-area nanoscale energy deposition for efficient surface texturing显示文摘The lossy nature of plasmonic wave due to absorption is shown to become an advantage for scaling-up a large area surface nanotexturing of transparent dielectrics and semiconductors by a self-organized sub-wavelength energy deposition leading to an ablation pattern—ripples—using this plasmonic nano-printing.Irreversible nanoscale modifications are delivered by surface plasmon polariton(SPP)using:(i)fast scan and(ii)cylindrical focusing of femtosecond laser pulses for a high patterning throughput.The mechanism of ripple formation on ZnS dielectric is experimentally proven to occur via surface wave at the substrate–plasma interface.The line focusing increase the ordering quality of ripples and facilitates fabrication over wafer-sized areas within a practical time span.Nanoprinting using SPP is expected to open new applications in photo-catalysis,tribology,and solar light harvesting via localized energy deposition rather scattering used in photonic and sensing applications based on re-scattering of SPP modes into far-field modes.Lei Wang Qi-Dai Chen Xiao-Wen Cao Ričardas Buividas Xuewen Wang Saulius Juodkazis Hong-Bo Sun 2017Light(Science & Applications)2017,6,1:15
2Diversity and Distribution of Host Animal Species of Hantavirus and Risk to Human Health in Jiuhua Mountain Area,China显示文摘Objective To investigate the diversity and the distribution of host animal species of hantavirus and the effect on human health in Jiuhua Mountain area,China.Methods The host animal species of hantavirus was surveyed by using the trap method and the species diversity was evaluated by using the Simpson,Shannon-Weaner,and Pielou indices.Hantavirus antigens or antibodies in lung and blood samples of all the captured host animals were detected by direct or indirect immunofluorescence.Results Nine animal species of hantavirus were distributed in the forest ecosystem of Jiuhua Mountain.Of these,Niviventer confucianus and Apodemus agrarius were predominant,and N.confucianus,Rattus norvegicus,and Mus musculus had relatively large niche breadth index values.The host animals in the eastern and western mountain regions shared similar biodiversity index characteristics,predominant species,and species structures.Hantavirus was detected in 5 host animal species in Jiuhua Mountain area,the carriage rate of hantavirus was 6.03%.The average density of host animals in forest areas of the mountainous area was only 2.20%,and the virus infection rate in the healthy population was 2.33%.Conclusion The circulation of hantavirus was low in the forest areas of Jiuhua Mountain and did not pose a threat to human health.HU Xing Qiang LI Shi Guang LIU Hong WANG Jun HUA Ri Mao 2014Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2014,27,11:7
3Finite-time adaptive sliding mode control for heavyweight airdrop operations显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of designing a fast convergent sliding mode flight controller of a transport aircraft for heavyweight airdrop operations in the presence of bounded uncertainties without the prior knowledge of the bounds. On the basis of feedback linearization of the aircraft-cargo motion system, a novel integral sliding mode flight control law with gains adaptation is proposed. It contains a nominal control law used to achieve finite-time stabilization performance and a compensated control law used to reject the uncertainties. The switching gains of the compensated control law are tuned using adaptation algorithms, and the knowledge of the bounds of the uncertainties is not required to be known in advance. 4A photosensitizer-loaded zinc oxide-polydopamine core-shell nanotherapeutic agent for photodynamic and photothermal synergistic therapy of cancer cells显示文摘In clinical cancer research,it is quite promising to develop multimodal synergistic therapeutic strategies.Photodynamic and photothermal synergistic therapy is a very desirable multimodal therapy strategy.Herein,we report a facile and simple method to construct a nanotherapeutic agent for photodynamic and photothermal therapy.This nanotherapeutic agent(ZnO@Ce6-PDA)is composed of a ZnO nanoparticle core,an interlayer of photosensitizer chlorin e6(Ce6)and an outer layer of polydopamine(PDA).Due to the existence of Ce6,the ZnO@Ce6-PDA can efficiently generate singlet oxygen(1O2)under 660 nm laser irradiation.Moreover,the ZnO@Ce6-PDA can serve as a photothermal agent,because of the excellent photothermal conversion efficiency of the PDA coating layer in the presence of 780 nm laser.Experiment results demonstrated that the designed nanotherapeutic agent had outstanding phototoxicity upon the combination of laser irradiation at 660 and 780 nm.Thus,our work proves that the ZnO@Ce6-PDA is a promising photodynamic/photothermal dual-modal nanotherapeutic agent for enhanced cancer therapy.Ri Wu Huizhen Wang Luo Hai Tianzheng Wang Min Hou Dinggeng He Xiaoxiao He Kemin Wang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:3

7Cellular exposure to muscle relaxants and propofol could lead to genomic instabilityin vitro显示文摘Anesthesia is widely used in several medical settings and accepted as safe.However,there is some evidence that anesthetic agents can induce genomic changes leading to neural degeneration or apoptosis.Although chromosomal changes have not been observed in vivo,this is most likely due to DNA repair mechanisms,apoptosis,or cellular senescence.Potential chromosomal alterations after exposure to common anesthetic agents may be relevant in patients with genomic instability syndromes or with aggressive treatment of malignancies.In this study,the P388 murine B cells were cultured in vitro,and spectral karyotyping (SKY) was utilized to uncover genomewide changes.Clinically relevant doses of cisatracurium and propofol increased structural and numerical chromosomal instability.These results may be relevant in patients with underlying chromosomal instability syndromes or concurrently being exposed to chemotherapeutic agents.Future studies may include utilization of stimulated peripheral blood lymphocytes to further confirm the significance of these results.Allen Edward Coleman Nicole McNeil Alexander Leonidovich Kovalchuck Dara Wangsa Thomas Ried Hong Wang 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,2:1
