1Characterization of Amino Acid Composition in Fruits of Three Rosa roxburghii Genotypes显示文摘Rosa roxburghii Tratt., is an important commercial horticultural crop in China due to its nutritional and medicinal value. To date, the economic production of a single predominant cultivar of R. roxburghii(‘Guinong 5') consumes 30 000 hm^2 in China. Here, we characterize the amino acid composition of ‘Guinong 5' and two novel genotypes(AL11, GP6) that prove valuable and deserve wide application. Here, 17 amino acids(acid hydrolysis of proteins) were detected in ‘Guinong 5', AL11 and GP6 fruits, with Glutamine and Asparagine being abundant, and L-cystine being absent. The essential amino acids and total amino acids were the highest in AL11, while Asparagine was most abundant in GP6. For the free amino acid, 18 amino acids and 9 metabolites were detected in ‘Guinong 5', AL11 and GP6 fruits. γ-aminobutyric acid, L-arginine and ornithine were the most abundant in ‘Guinong 5', while phosphoserine and taurine were the highest in AL11. 2Accelerated methane storage in clathrate hydrates using surfactantstabilized suspension with graphite nanoparticles显示文摘In this study,enhanced kinetics of methane hydrate formation in the sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)solution with different concentrations of suspended graphite nanoparticles(GNPs)were investigated at 6.1-9.0 MPa and 274.15 K.The GNPs with rough surfaces and excellent thermal conductivity not only provided a considerable number of microsites for hydrate nucleation but also facilitated the fast hydrate heat transfer in the suspension system.At a relatively low pressure of 6.1 MPa,the suspension with 0.4 wt%of GNPs exhibited the minimum induction time of 22 min and maximum methane uptake of 126.1 cm3·cm-3.However,the methane storage performances of the suspensions with higher and lower concentrations of GNPs were not satisfactory.At the applied pressure,the temperature increase arising from the hydrate heat in the suspension system with the optimized concentration(0.4 wt%)of GNPs was more significant than that in the traditional SDS solution.Furthermore,compared with those of the system without GNPs,enhanced hydration rate and storage capacity were achieved in the suspensions with GNPs,and the storage capacities were increased by 3.9%-17.0%.The promotion effect of GNPs on gas hydrate formation at low pressure is much more obvious than that at high pressure.Liang Yang Xin Wang Daoping Liu Guomin Cui Binlin Dou Juan Wang Shuqing Hao 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,4:4
3Hymecromone:a clinical prescription hyaluronan inhibitor for efficiently blocking COVID-19 progression显示文摘Currently,there is no effective drugs for treating clinically COVID-19 except dexamethasone.We previously revealed that human identical sequences of SARS-CoV-2 promote the COVID-19 progression by upregulating hyaluronic acid(HA).As the inhibitor of HA synthesis,hymecromone is an approved prescription drug used for treating biliary spasm.Here,we aimed to investigate the relation between HA and COVID-19,and evaluate the therapeutic effects of hymecromone on COVID-19.Firstly,HA was closely relevant to clinical parameters,including lymphocytes(n=158;r=−0.50;P<0.0001),C-reactive protein(n=156;r=0.55;P<0.0001),D-dimer(n=154;r=0.38;P<0.0001),and fibrinogen(n=152;r=0.37;P<0.0001),as well as the mass(n=78;r=0.43;P<0.0001)and volume(n=78;r=0.41;P=0.0002)of ground-glass opacity,the mass(n=78;r=0.48;P<0.0001)and volume(n=78;r=0.47;P<0.0001)of consolidation in patient with low level of hyaluronan(HA<48.43 ng/mL).Furthermore,hyaluronan could directly cause mouse pulmonary lesions.Besides,hymecromone remarkably reduced HA via downregulating HAS2/HAS3 expression.Moreover,89%patients with hymecromone treatment had pulmonary lesion absorption while only 42%patients in control group had pulmonary lesion absorption(P<0.0001).In addition,lymphocytes recovered more quickly in hymecromone-treated patients(n=8)than control group(n=5)(P<0.05).These findings suggest that hymecromone is a promising drug for COVID-19 and deserves our further efforts to determine its effect in a larger cohort.Shuai Yang Yun Ling Fang Zhao Wei Li Zhigang Song Lu Wang Qiuting Li Mengxing Liu Ying Tong Lu Chen Daoping Ru Tongsheng Zhang Kaicheng Zhou Baolong Zhang Peng Xu Zhicong Yang Wenxuan Li Yuanlin Song Jianqing Xu Tongyu Zhu Fei Shan Wenqiang Yu Hongzhou Lu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4:2
4Bi_(2)S_(3) spheres coated with MOF-derived Co_(9)S_(8) and N-doped carbon composite layer for half/full sodium-ion batteries with superior performance显示文摘Bismuth sulfide(Bi_(2)S_(3))has attracted particular interest as a potential anode material for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).However,the low electrical conductivity and dramatic volumetric change greatly restrict its practical applications.In view of the apparent structural and compositional advantages of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)derived carbon-based composite,herein,as a proof of concept,Bi_(2)S_(3) spheres coated with the MOF-derived Co_(9)S_(8) and N-doped carbon composite layer(Bi_(2)S_(3)@Co_(9)S_(8)/NC composite spheres)have been rational designed and synthesized.As expected,the core-shell Bi_(2)S_(3)@Co_(9)S_(8)/NC composite spheres exhibit remarkable electrochemical performance in terms of high reversible capacity(597 m Ah g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1)),good rate capability(341 m Ah g^(-1) at 8 A g^(-1))and long-term cycling stability(458 m Ah g^(-1) after 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(-1))when investigated as anode materials for SIBs.Electrochemical analyses further reveal the favorable reaction kinetics in the Bi_(2)S_(3)@Co_(9)S_(8)/NC composite spheres.In addition,the possible sodium storage mechanism has been studied by ex-situ X-ray diffraction technique.More importantly,a sodium-ion full cell based on Na_(3) V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/r GO as cathode and Bi_(2)S_(3)@Co_(9)S_(8)/NC as anode is also fabricated,suggesting their potential for practical applications.It is anticipated that the present work could be extended to construct other advanced electrode materials using MOFs-derived carbon-based composites as surface coating materials for various energy storagerelated applications.Youzhang Huang Xueshuang Zhu Daoping Cai Zhixiang Cui Qianting Wang Hongbing Zhan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:2

7Fintech, Macroprudential Supervision and Systematic Risk in China’s Banks显示文摘In recent years,the rapid development of fi ntech has brought far-reaching changes to the fi nancial sector.At the same time,fi ntech may cause potential systemic risk in the fi nancial sector,which has aroused special concerns from fi nancial regulatory authorities.Based on the micro data of China’s listed banks from 2013 to 2020,this paper analyzes the impact of fi ntech development on systemic risk in China’s banking industry and its mechanism.It reveals that for a micro bank,fintech progress increases its risk-taking and enhances inter-bank linkages,which results in signifi cantly amplifi ed systemic risk,and the impact is time-lagged and persistent.In addition,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the impacts of fi ntech on state-owned banks and other banks are heterogeneous and the margining risk of state-owned banks is lower when the fi ntech improves.It is also found that enhancing macroprudential supervision can reduce the systemic risk spillover of fintech.Robustness analyses including GMM regression and the method of instrumental variables prove that the conclusion is robust.This paper is of theoretical and policy signifi cance for the prevention of systemic risk in the banking industry as China develops fi ntech.Daoping Wang Yangjingzhuo Liu Yuxuan Xu Linlin Liu 2022China Finance and Economic Review2022,11,4:0
8Global mitigation efforts cannot neglect emerging emitters显示文摘International efforts to avoid dangerous climate change have historically focused on reducing energy-related CO_(2)emissions from countries with either the largest economies(e.g.the EU and the USA)and/or the largest populations(e.g.China and India).However,in recent years,emissions have surged among a different and much less-examined group of countries,raising concerns that a next generation of high-emitting economies will obviate current mitigation targets.Here,we analyse the trends and drivers of emissions in each of the 59 countries where emissions in 2010-2018 grew faster than the global average(excluding China and India),project their emissions under a range of longer-term energy scenarios and estimate the costs of decarbonization pathways.Total emissions from these’emerging emitters’reach as much as 7.5 GtCO_(2)/year in the baseline 2.5°scenari—substantially greater than the emissions from these regions in previously published scenarios that would limit warming to 1.5℃or even 2℃.Such unanticipated emissions would in turn require non-emitting energy deployment from all sectors within these emerging emitters,and faster and deeper reductions in emissions from other countries to meet international climate goals.Moreover,the annual costs of keeping emissions at the low level are in many cases 0.2%-4.1%of countries’gross domestic production,pointing to potential trade-offs with poverty-reduction goals and/or the need for economic support and low-carbon technology transfer from historically high-emitting countries.Our results thus highlight the critical importance of ramping up mitigation efforts in countries that to this point have been largely ignored.Can Cui Dabo Guan Daoping Wang Jing Meng Vicky Chemutai Paul Brenton Shaohui Zhang Yuli Shan Qiang Zhang Steven J.Davis 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:0
