| 1 | Compound Gaoziban tablet(复方高滋斑片) alleviates depression via toll-like receptor 4/myeloid differentiation factor 88/nuclear factor-kappa B pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of compound Gaoziban tablet(复方高滋斑片, CGZBT) on depression, and to investigate the underlying mechanism. METHODS: The components of CGZBT were analysed by high-performance liquid chromatography. Then, we assessed the effects of varying doses of CGZBT on an established chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS) model in rats. Whether animals were depressed was evaluated by sucrose preference test, open field test and forced swimming test. Neurotransmitters of hippocampus were detected by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α), interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-4, and IL-10 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Expressions of toll-like receptor 4(TLR4), myeloid differentiation factor 88(My D88), phospho-nuclear factorkappa B(p-NF-κB), cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2), ionized calcium binding adapter molecule-1(IBA-1) were assessed by immunohistochemical staining and western blotting. RESULTS: Eight compounds were identified from CGZBT, moreover, our results showed that CGZBT effectively reversed the CUMS-induced decrease in sucrose preference, shortened the movement distance and prolonged immobility time. CGZBT significantly increased levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine, dopamine, norepinephrine, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid levels, and reduced the expression of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, yet increased IL-4 and IL-10. Furthermore, the expressions of TLR4, My D88, COX-2, p-NF-κB and IBA-1 in hippocampus were effectively reversed after treatment with CGZBT. | 3 | Percutaneous transhepatic intrahepatic portosystemic shunt for variceal bleeding: A series of six cases and literature review显示文摘Objectives:To present a case series of modified transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts(TIPS) and percutaneous transhepatic intrahepatic portosystemic shunts(PTIPS) in cirrhotic patients with variceal bleeding(VB).In addition,the scientific literature pertaining to PTIPS was reviewed.Methods:This retrospective clinical case series included six cirrhotic patients with VB who were treated with PTIPS after the failure of endoscopic band ligation or endoscopic injection sclerotherapy combined with vasoactive drugs.The treatment was conducted between January 2017 and June 2019 at a single institution.Three patients suffered from severe atrophy of the right or left lobar of the liver as well as the main right or left branch of the portal vein.The remaining three patients showed severe atrophy of the whole liver and portal vein,resulting in widening of the liver fissure.A paired t-test was used to compare the changes in portal pressure gradient between before and after the PTIPS operation.The rebleeding rate,treatment efficacy,complications,and technical success rate were all assessed during follow-up.Results:All six PTIPS procedures were performed successfully,with no severe procedural-related complications observed.None of the patients experienced VB during a mean follow-up of 22.8(range,18.0-28.0) months.The mean portosystemic pressure gradient decreased from 28.3 ± 4.3 mmHg pre-procedure to 12.3 ± 2.6 mmHg immediately post-procedure(P <0.001).At follow-up,one patient was found to have developed grade 2 hepatic encephalopathy thrice during the first year,according to the West Haven criteria.However,this was resolved following medical treatment.Conclusions:When the patient’s portal venous anatomy is unconducive to the performance of TIPS using the transjugular approach,PTIPS can be considered as a safe,effective complementary surgical approach for patients with VB. | Hang Du Binyan Zhong Peng Zhang Wansheng Wang Jian Shen Shuai Zhang Wanci Li Haohuan Tang Linfeng Zhou Weihao Yang Xiaoli Zhu | 2021 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,1: | 1 |

By controlling the electroplating time, the MnO_2 nanosheets can be self-assembled to honeycomb structure and showed excellent electrochemical performance in 1 mol/L Na_2SO_4 electrolyte with SC950-EP30 performing the best. | 10 | g-C_(3)N_(4) templated mesoporous carbon with abundant heteroatoms as high-rate anode material for dual-carbon sodium ion hybrid capacitors显示文摘Sodium ion hybrid capacitors(SIHCs)are regarded as advanced power supply systems.Nevertheless,the kinetics imbalance of cathode and anode suppresses the further performance improvement of SIHCs.The carbonaceous anode materials are promising and many strategies have been utilized to increase the capacity of sloping region or accelerate the reaction rate of plateau region.However,it is still challenging to simultaneously realize high mesopore/micropore volume ratio,large interlayer distance(>0.37 nm),and abundant and favorable heteroatoms-doping by a simple method.Herein,we report N,P,O ternarydoped mesoporous carbon(PNPOC-T,T=700,800 or 900)with large interlayer distance(~0.4 nm)as anode materials.The PNPOC-T were prepared by a simple in-situ polymerization of aniline and phytic acid on the exfoliated graphitic nitrogen carbide(g-C3N4)and subsequent carbonization.The obtained PNPOC-800 exhibits an excellent rate performance(101.5 mA·h·g^(-1) at 20 A·g^(-1)),which can be attributed to the high surface-controlled capacitive behavior ratio and rapid ion diffusion.The optimum SIHCs display a high energy density of 105.48 W·h·kg^(-1) and a high power density of 13.59 kW$kg1.Furthermore,the capacitance retention rate of SIHCs can reach 87.43%after 9000 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1). | Chong Wang Qingtao Yu Ning Zhao Bohan Li Wanci Shen Feiyu Kang Zheng-Hong Huang Ruitao Lv | 2022 | Journal of Materiomics2022,8,6: | 0 |
