| 1 | A novel approach to design microwave medium of negative refractive index and simulation verification显示文摘In this paper, a novel approach is presented to synthesize microwave medium of negative refractive index by incorporating metallic wire array with negative effective permittivity into the host media such as ferrimagnet-YIG (yttrium iron garnet) applied by external magnetic field whose permeability is negative. We have designed the composite medium having negative refractive index in C/X band frequencies, analyzed and simulated its electromagnetic (EM) properties by use of EM EDA package based on time-domain finite integration method. The simulation results show that: ① the effective permittivity of the designed metallic wire array is negative in the frequency range from 7.02 GHz to 9.80 GHz; ② the permeability of YIG substrate immersed into an external magnetic field is negative in the frequency range from 5.22 GHz to 8.14 GHz; ③ EM wave can pass through the composite medium synthesized by the above designed metallic wire array and YIG substrate, and ④ the negative refraction behavior occurs on the interface between the composite medium and the normal material with positive refractive index in 7.51―8.13 GHz frequency range, in which the effective permittivity of the metallic wire array and the permeability of YIG substrate are negative simultaneously. | 2 | Retardant effect of dihydroartemisinin on ulcerative colitis in a JAK2/STAT3-dependent manner显示文摘Dihydroartemisinin(DHA)is a semi-synthetic derivative and the main active metabolite of artemisinin.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of DHA on the ulcerative colitis(UC)in both in vivo and in vitro models.Weight,survival rate,colon length,and Disease Activity Index score were used to evaluate the severity of colitis.Reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were used to detect the expressions of cytokines interleukin(IL)-1,IL-1β,IL-4,IL-6,IL-10,IL-12,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).The expressions of Janus kinase 2(JAK2)and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3),and the phosphorylation of JAK2(p-JAK2)and STAT3(p-STAT3),were measured by western blot analysis.Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expressions of tight junction proteins.We found that the weights and colon lengths of mice in dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)+DHA group were significantly lower and longer than those in the DSS group,respectively.Compared with those in the DSS group,the expressions of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-17,and TNF-αin the DSS+DHA and DSS+5-aminosalicylic acid(5-ASA)groups were decreased,while the expressions of IL-4 and IL-10 were significantly upregulated.DHA largely increased the expressions of zonula occludens-1 and occludin.Western blot analysis and/or immunohistochemical staining analysis showed that the expressions of JAK2,STAT3,p-JAK2,and p-STAT3 in DSS+DHA and DSS+5-ASA groups were significantly lower than those in DSS group.DHA has a specific therapeutic effect on UC.The anti-inflammatory mechanism of DHA is related to the blockage of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway.These findings provide evidence that DHA may be a useful drug and is expected to become a promising new treatment for human UC. | Mingrui Jiang Guangjun Zhong Yichao Zhu Liuhua Wang Yuzhe He Qiannan Sun Xiaoqing Wu Xiaolan You Sujun Gao Dong Tang Daorong Wang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,9: | 6 |
| 3 | Optimizing zeolite stabilized Pt-Zn catalysts for propane dehydrogenation显示文摘Propane dehydrogenation(PDH)provides an alternative route to non-petroleum based propylene and eligible catalysts with good overall performance are still being explored.Herein,we report the construction of zeolite stabilized Pt-Zn catalysts Pt-Zn/Si-Beta for PDH.Characterization results from transmission electron microscopy(TEM),ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy reveal that highly-dispersed Zn species are stabilized by the silanols from zeolite framework dealumination,which then act as the anchoring sites for Pt species.The close contact between Pt-Zn species and the electronic interaction thereof make Pt-Zn/Si-Beta robust PDH catalysts.Under optimized conditions,a high propylene production rate of 4.11 molmol_(Pt)^(-1)s^(-1),high propylene selectivity of 98% and a sustainable deactivation rate of~0.02 h^(-1)can be simultaneously achieved at 823 K.Coke deposition is not the key reason for the catalytic deactivation,while the loss of Zn species and the resulting aggregation of Pt species under high temperatures are responsible for the irreversible deactivation of Pt-Zn/Si-Beta catalyst in PDH reaction. | Linjun Xie Yuchao Chai Lanlan Sun Weili Dai Guangjun Wu Naijia Guan Landong Li | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Diagnosis of peripheral lung cancer using MSCT perfusion imaging compared with microvessel density (MVD)显示文摘Objective: To investigate the clinical diagnostic value of peripheral lung cancer using multi-slice CT (MSCT) perfu- sion imaging and the relationship with microvessel density (MVD). Methods: 38 patients with pulmonary masses proved by pathology including 25 cases of peripheral lung cancer and 13 cases of benign masses were studied prospectively with GE Lightspeed Qx/I plus 16-slice helical CT perfusion imaging, and 25 patients with lung cancer were comparative studied with its MVD calculated using LSAB. With the CT perfusion 2-body tumor software, the parameters of CT perfusion including blood value (BV), blood flow (BF), mean transit time (MTT) and permeability surface (PS) were analyzed. Results: The four param- eter values in lung cancer were all higher than that in pulmonary benign masses, and there were significant differences among BV, MTT and PS (P<0.05), especially in BV (P<0.01). The MVD value of lung cancer was higher than that of pulmonary benign masses (P<0.05), and the MVD of adenocarcinoma was higher than that of squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.05). In 25 cases with lung cancer, there was positive correlation only between BV and MVD value (r=0.852, P<0.01). | 5 | Reconstruction of Emission Coefficients for a Non-axisymmetric Coupling Arc Based on MALDONADO's Method显示文摘The reconstruction of emission coefficient is a key factor for the calculation of temperature field.However,most of the researches for determining arc plasmas are based on axisymmetric sources,little has been done to study non-axisymmetric arc plasmas.In order to reveal temperatures of a non-axisymmetric coupling arc,the distribution of emission coefficients must be reconstructed in advance.In this paper,the argon atomic line intensities of the coupling arc are obtained by using the imaging system that involves a high speed camera in conjunction with a neutral and a narrow-band filter.The converted programme between emission coefficients and emitted intensities is programmed based on MALDONADO's method.A displaced Gaussian model is used for evaluating the validity of the converted programme.Then,the emission coefficients of a free burning arc are reconstructed by MALDONADO's method and an Abel inversion,respectively,and good agreement is obtained.Finally,the emission coefficient profiles of the coupling arc are achieved.The results show that the distribution of emission coefficient for the coupling arc is non-axisymmetric.The emission coefficient profile is similar to an ellipse,and the short axis of the ellipse is in the direction that the two electrodes are arranged along.The peak temperature of the coupling arc is in the middle of both electrodes.There is a strong interaction between both arcs within the coupling arc.The proposed research solves difficulties for determining asymmetric arcs and enlarges the application scope of spectroscopic techniques. | XIONG Jun ZHANG Guangjun HU Yutang WU Lin | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,4: | 1 |
