1The construction of a genetic linkage map of non-heading Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino)显示文摘Non-heading Chinese cabbage(Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis Makino) is one of the most important vegetables in eastern China.A genetic linkage map was constructed using 127 doubled haploid(DH) lines,and the DH population was derived from a commercial hybrid 'Hanxiao'(lines SW-13 × L-118).Out of the 614 polymorphic markers,43.49% were not assigned to any of the linkage groups(LGs).Chi-square tests showed that 42.67% markers were distorted from expected Mendelian segregation ratios,and the direction of distorted segregation was mainly toward the paternal parent L-118.After sequentially removing the markers that had an interval distance smaller than 1 cM from the upper marker,the overall quality of the linkage map was increased.Two hundred and sixty-eight molecular markers were mapped into 10 LGs,which were anchored to the corresponding chromosome of the B.rapa reference map based on common simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers.The map covers 973.38 cM of the genome and the average interval distance between markers was 3.63 cM.The number of markers on each LG ranged from 18(R08) to 64(R07),with an average interval distance within a single LG from 1.70 cM(R07) to 6.71 cM(R06).Among these mapped markers,169 were sequence-related amplified polymorphism(SRAP) mo-lecular markers,50 were SSR markers and 49 were random amplification polymorphic DNA(RAPD) markers.With further saturation to the LG,the current map offers a genetic tool for loci analysis for important agronomic traits.Yan Cheng Jianfeng Geng Jingyi Zhang Qian Wang Qingyu Ban Xilin Hou 2009Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,8:9
2Determination of Ca,K,Mg and Fe in Four Fish Species by FAAS显示文摘A method for determining calcium(Ca),potassium(K),magnesium(Mg) and iron(Fe) in four fish species was optimized and validated.It included microwave mineralization of the samples and subsequent quantification by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy(FAAS) with Zeeman-effect background correction.Using HNO3(65%) and H2O2(33%) as extraction solutions,the optimal conditions of extraction were established as follows:0.5 g of sample mass;microwave time program of 300 W/5 min and 600 W/5 min.The method was free of matrix interferences.The linear correlation coefficients were ≥0.9991,the recovery percentage of analytes was from 99.31% to 103.70% and the RSD(relative standard deviation) was lower than 2.06%.The detection limits obtained were 32.3,43.2,14.0 and 68.6 ng mL-1 for Ca,K,Mg and Fe in FAAS respectively.It is shown that the method is rapid,simple,sensitive and accurate.The method was applied to the studies of digestibility and measurement of these nutrients in samples of fish collected from Norway,Japan and China.CUI Xiaoli WANG Yijun SHE Xilin 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,3:8
3Analysis of combustion instability via constant volume combustion in a LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine显示文摘Turbulent two-phase reacting flow in the chamber of LOX/RP-1 bipropellant liquid rocket engine is numerically investigated in this paper. The predicted pressure and mean axial velocity are qualitatively consistent with the experimental measurements. The self-excited pressure oscillations are obtained without any disturbance introduced through the initial and boundary conditions. It is found that amount of abrupt pressure peaks appear frequently and stochastically in the head regions of the chamber, which are the important sources to drive and strengthen combustion instability. Such abrupt pressures are induced by local constant volume combustion, because local combustible gas mixtures with high temperature are formed and burnt out suddenly due to some fuel droplets reaching their critical state in a rich oxygen surrounding. A third Damkhler number is defined as the ratio of the characteristic time of a chemical reaction to the characteristic time of a pressure wave expansion to measure the relative intensity of acoustic propagation and combustion process in thrusters. The analysis of the third Damkhler number distributions in the whole thrust chamber shows that local constant volume combustion happens in the head regions, while constant pressure combustion presents in the downstream regions. 5Divergent evolutionary patterns of the MAPK cascade genes in Brassica rapa and plant phylogenetics显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascade signal transduction modules play crucial roles in regulating many biological processes in plants.These cascades are composed of three classes of hierarchically organized protein kinases,MAPKKKs,MAPKKs and MAPKs.Here,we analyzed gene retention,phylogenetic,evolution and expression patterns of MAPK cascade genes in Brassica rapa.We further found that the MAPK branches,classes III and IV,appeared after the split of bryophytes and green algae after analyzing the MAPK cascade genes in 8 species,and their rapid expansion led to the great size of the families of MAPKs.In contrast,the ancestral class I subfamily of MAPKK gene families have been highly conserved from algae to angiosperms.For the MAPKKK family,the MEKK and Raf subfamily share a common evolutionary origin,and Raf plays a major role in the expansion of the MAPKKK gene family.The cis-elements and interaction network analyses showed the important function of MAPK cascade genes in development and stress responses in B.rapa.This study provides a solid foundation for molecular evolution analyses of MAPK cascade genes.Peng Wu Wenli Wang Ying Li Xilin Hou 2017Horticulture Research2017,4,1:6
6Nitrous oxide emissions from black soils with different pH显示文摘N2O fluxes as a function of incubation time from soil with different available N contents and pH were determined.Cumulative carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions were measured to indicate soil respiration.A 144-hr incubation experiment was conducted in a slightly acidic agricultural soil(pHH2O 5.33) after the pH was adjusted to four different values(3.65,5.00,6.90 and 8.55).The experiments consisted of a control without added N,and with NH+4-N and NO3-N fertilization.The results showed that soil pH contributed significantly to N2O flux from the soils.There were higher N2O emissions in the period 0-12 hr in the four pH treatments,especially those enhanced with Nfertilization.The cumulative N2O-N emission reached a maximum at pH 8.55 and was stimulated by NO3-N fertilization(70.4 μg/kg).The minimum emissions appeared at pH 3.65 and were not stimulated by NO3-N or NH+4-N fertilization.Soil respiration increased significantly due to N-fertilization.Soil respiration increased positively with soil pH(R 2 = 0.98,P < 0.01).The lowest CO2-C emission(30.2 mg/kg) was presented in pH 3.65 soils without N-fertilization.The highest CO2-C emissions appeared in the pH 8.55 soils for NH+4-N fertilization(199 mg/kg).These findings suggested that N2O emissions and soil respiration were significantly influenced by low pH,which strongly inhibits soil microbial nitrification and denitrification activities.The content of NO3-N in soil significantly and positively affected the N2O emissions through denitrification.Lianfeng Wang Huachao Du Zuoqiang Han Xilin Zhang 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:6
7Large Eddy Simulation of a dilute particleladen turbulent flow over a backwardfacing step显示文摘Dilute gas-particle turbulent flows over a backward-facing step are numerically simulated by Large Eddy Simulation (LES) for the continuous phase and Lagran- gian particle trajectory method for the particle phase. Predicted results of mean velocities and fluctuating velocities of both phases agree well with the experimental data, and demonstrate that the main characteristics of the flow are accurately captured by the simulations. Characteristics of separation and reattachments as well as essential features of the coherent structure are obtained, in which the processes of vortex roll up, growth, pairing and breaking up are shown in details. Particle dispersions are then investigated through particles’ instantaneous distri- butions in coherent structure as well as the mean and fluctuating properties of particle number density (PND). The predicted mean PND agree well with experiment results. For small particles, the instantaneous distributions show much preferential concentration, while their mean PND shows more uniform distribution in down- stream region. On the contrary, for large particles, their instantaneous distributions are much uniform (without clear preferential concentration) due to less effect of large eddy coherent, while their mean PND across the section is not uniform for more particles are distributed in the main flow region. 10Analysis of solid particle clusters in coherent structures of turbulent channel flow显示文摘A particle-laden turbulent channel flow is investigated to study particle clusters in large-scale turbulent coherent structures.The fluid phase is calculated by large eddy simulation and particles are tracked using Lagrangian trajectory method.The flow Reynolds number is 180 based on the friction velocity and half-width of the channel.The particle is lycopodium with St=0.93which may well follow the fluid phase.The mean and fluctuating velocities of both two phases are obtained,which are in good agreement with previous data.The strongest accumulations of particles in low-speed streak structures are observed at y+=11.3.Moreover,once particles are captured in low-speed streaks,most of them will reside there for a long period.Particles clustered in low-speed streaks obtain smaller instantaneous wall-normal and spanwise velocities than those out of there,which induce a larger particle flux into low-speed streaks than that out of there.The study is important for understanding particle dispersion mechanisms in gas-particle turbulent channel flows.LU Hao WANG Bing ZHANG HuiQiang QIN JianXiu WANG XiLin 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,10:3
11Analysis of TM/TE mode enhancement and droop reduction by a nanoporous n-AIGaN underlayer in a 290 nm UV-LED显示文摘A full structure 290 nm ultraviolet light emitting diode(UV-LED)with a nanoporous n-AlGaN underlayer was fabricated by top via hole formation followed by high-voltage electrochemical etching.The 20 to 120 nm nanopores were prepared in regular doped n-AlGaN by adjusting the etching voltage.The comparison between the Raman spectrum and the photoluminescence wavelength shows that the biaxial stress in the nanoporous material is obviously relaxed.The photoluminescence enhancement was found to be highly dependent on the size of the pores.It not only improves the extraction efficiency of top-emitting transverse-electric(TE)-mode photons but also greatly improves the efficiency of side emitting tran sverse-magnetic(TM)-mode photons.This leads to the polarization change of the side-emitting light from-0.08 to-0.242.The intensity of the electroluminescence was increased by 36.5%at 100 mA,and the efficiency droop at high current was found to decrease from 61%to 31%.YUFENG LI CHENYU WANG YE ZHANG PENG HU SHENGNAN ZHANG MENGQI DU XILIN SU QIANG LI FENG YUN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:2
12A fabrication method for adaptive dielectric gradient insulating components显示文摘Dielectric gradient components have advantages in electric field mitigation and insulation improvement.In this paper,we propose a fabrication method for adaptive dielectric gradient components using in situ AC electric field,including the mechanism and the corresponding operational procedures for industrial applications.Based on the electric polarisation and self-assembly effect of the filler particles in the liquid matrix,the chainlike structure in the high field strength region is constructed to enhance the local permittivity and mitigate the maximum of the spatial electric field.The dielectric gradient basin insulator is prepared by this method,and its flashover voltage is increased by 12.8%compared with that of a homogeneous dielectric basin insulator,and the improvement is 20.8%when metal particles are present on the surface.The more non-uniform the initial electric field is,the greater the improvement in flashover voltage.This method is expected to promote the industrial application of dielectric gradient insulating components.Zikui Shen Zhidong Jia Yanpeng Hao Zhenyu Xin Xilin Wang 2023High Voltage2023,8,1:2

14Large eddy simulation of a 3-D spatially developing turbulent round jet显示文摘A three-dimensional large eddy simulation(LES) of a spatially developing round jet is carried out in cylindrical coordinates using a dynamic subgrid model with strong inflow instability.Evolutions of large-scale vortex structures represented by tangential vortices are obtained and compared with flow visualization.Also presented are three-dimensional spatial evolutions of coherent structure,which are of quasi two-dimensional Kelvin-Helmholtz instability and vortex rings as well as breaking up of the vortex rings with fully three-dimensional characteristics.Predicted results of mean velocity and turbulent intensity agree well with experiments.They are also compared with the results predicted by LES using standard Smagorinsky model and show good self-similarity.Turbulence spectrum of the predicted velocity shows the 5/3 decay for higher wave number,as expected for turbulent round jet flows.In addition,-test and-test are carried out for the instantaneous velocity,showing that the present LES method can successfully predict the hierarchical structure of round jet.ZHANG HuiQiang RONG Yi WANG Bing WANG XiLin 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,11:2
15Review of flash sintering with strong electric field显示文摘Flash sintering is a novel field‐assisted sintering technology for ceramics that allows a dramatic reduction in processing time and temperature.Since 2010,when flash sintering was first reported,it has been a focus of research interest in the field of materials science.Recent study results have confirmed that the sintering temperature decreases with the strength of the applied electric field;for some ceramics,the sintering temperature can be lowered even to room temperature.This represents an innovative breakthrough for ceramic sintering at ultra‐low temperatures.However,once the electric field strength in flash sintering is increased,new questions and challenges arise,such as whether or not partial discharge occurs in the green body if under electro‐thermal coupling stress,how to quantitatively analyse the impact of discharge on sintering,and,moreover,whether the sintering mechanism under a strong electric field is consistent with that under a weak electric field.These research questions require knowledge of partial discharge detection,dielectric theory,and other topics that are beyond the scope of materials science.To address this need,this review summarises the work carried out in flash sintering with a strong electric field from the perspective of high voltage and insulation technology.First,the flash sintering process and mechanism are briefly introduced.Then,the published literature on flash sintering with a strong electric field for various ceramic materials is summarised in depth.In addition,experimental phenomena that are observed in flash sintering with a strong electric field,such as flash and blackening,are discussed.Finally,some suggestions for future work are presented.It is anticipated that the knowledge gap between different areas of study can be filled by this review.Hongyang Zhou Xiang Li Yuchen Zhu Jieming Liu Angxuan Wu Guoming Ma Xilin Wang Zhidong Jia Liming Wang 2022High Voltage2022,7,1:2
16High‐performance ZnO varistor ceramics prepared by arc‐induced flash sintering with low energy consumption at room temperature显示文摘The development of ultra‐high voltage transmission lines requires a ZnO arrester with excellent electrical response and high voltage gradient.Compared with conventional preparation methods,flash sintering allows fast production of novel high‐performance ZnO varistor ceramics with low energy consumption and controlled grain growth.Herein,ZnO varistor ceramics were prepared using the flash sintering method at an air pressure of 21 kPa for 60 s at 25℃.The results showed that the flash‐sintered samples had fine grains and reduced loss of volatile elements.Moreover,the voltage gradient,leakage current density,and non‐linear coefficient of the flash‐sintered varistor ceramics were significantly improved compared with those of conventionally sintered samples.Owing to the short preparation time and absence of a heating process,the energy consumption of the proposed flash sintering method was significantly reduced to 10%of that by conventional sintering.The proposed method is a promising approach for the preparation of ZnO arresters with excellent electrical properties and serves as an effective method that realises energy saving and emission reduction.Angxuan Wu Zhixiang Zhu Xilin Wang Nianping Yan Hongyang Zhou Rongxia Huang Guoming Ma Zhidong Jia Liming Wang 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:2
17Implementation of slow and smooth etching of GaN by inductively coupled plasma显示文摘Slow and smooth etching of gallium nitride(GaN) by BCl_3/Cl_2-based inductively coupled plasma(ICP)is investigated in this paper. The effects of etch parameters, including ICP power, radio frequency(RF) power, the flow rate of Cl_2 and BCl_3, on GaN etch rate and etch surface roughness RMS are discussed. A new model is suggested to explain the impact mechanism of the BCl_3 flow rate on etch surface roughness. 18CNN-BiLSTM-Attention Model in Forecasting Wave Height over South-East China Seas显示文摘Though numerical wave models have been applied widely to significant wave height prediction,they consume massive computing memory and their accuracy needs to be further improved.In this paper,a two-dimensional(2D)significant wave height(SWH)prediction model is established for the South and East China Seas.The proposed model is trained by Wave Watch III(WW3)reanalysis data based on a convolutional neural network,the bidirectional long short-term memory and the attention mechanism(CNNBiLSTM-Attention).It adopts the convolutional neural network to extract spatial features of original wave height to reduce the redundant information input into the BiLSTM network.Meanwhile,the BiLSTM model is applied to fully extract the features of the associated information of time series data.Besides,the attention mechanism is used to assign probability weight to the output information of the BiLSTM layer units,and finally,a training model is constructed.Up to 24-h prediction experiments are conducted under normal and extreme conditions,respectively.Under the normal wave condition,for 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of the correlation coefficients on the test set are 0.996,0.991,0.980,and 0.945,respectively.The corresponding mean values of the root mean square errors are measured at 0.063 m,0.105 m,0.172 m,and 0.281 m,respectively.Under the typhoon-forced extreme condition,the model based on CNN-BiLSTM-Attention is trained by typhooninduced SWH extracted from the WW3 reanalysis data.For 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of correlation coefficients on the test set are respectively 0.993,0.983,0.958,and 0.921,and the averaged root mean square errors are 0.159 m,0.257 m,0.437 m,and 0.555 m,respectively.The model performs better than that trained by all the WW3 reanalysis data.The result suggests that the proposed algorithm can be applied to the 2D wave forecast with higher accuracy and efficiency.Lina Wang Xilin Deng Peng Ge Changming Dong Brandon J.Bethel Leqing Yang Jinyue Xia 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,10:2

20Transports of air particulate matters in the atmospheric boundary layer-numerical studies using Eulerian and Lagrangian methods显示文摘Transports of air particulate matters(PM) from face sources in the atmospheric boundary layer(ABL) are investigated by the Eulerian single fluid model and the Lagrangian trajectory method,respectively.Large eddy simulation is used to simulate the fluid phase for high accuracy in both two approaches.The mean and fluctuating PM concentrations,as well as instantaneous PM distributions at different downstream and height positions,are presented.Higher mean and fluctuating particle concentrations are predicted by the Eulerian approach than the Lagrangian one.For the Lagrangian method,PM distributions cluster near the ground-wall because of the preferential dispersion of inertial particles by turbulence structures in the ABL,while it cannot be obtained by the Eulerian single fluid method,because the two-phase velocity differences are neglected in the Eulerian method.LU Hao WANG Bing ZHANG HuiQiang WANG XiLin 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,3:1
