1钢渣沥青混合料应用现状显示文摘总结了钢渣的物理性质、化学成分及矿物相组成,分析了影响钢渣体积安定性的因素及其改善措施,探讨了钢渣沥青混合料的配合比设计方法,分析了钢渣沥青混合料的路用性能(高温稳定性、低温抗裂性、水稳定性、抗疲劳性、体积安定性、抗滑性)及其功能特性(导电性与微波加热),研究了钢渣沥青混合料的生态、社会及经济效益,介绍了国内外的工程应用。研究结果表明:钢渣可用于沥青混合料,且应为陈化半年以上的转炉钢渣或电炉钢渣,钢渣的物理力学性能优良,而化学成分及矿物相组成受炼钢工艺影响有所区别,钢渣体积安定性的不足可通过预处理或陈化处理得到较好的改善,钢渣沥青混合料的配合比设计要点包括钢渣替代传统集料的方式和比例、沥青混合料级配修正、有效相对密度测定以及最佳油石比的确定,钢渣沥青混合料的路用性能及功能特性优于天然集料沥青混合料,具有较好的环境影响性且综合经济效益更高,关于钢渣沥青混合料路用性能的研究较多,而作用机理方面相对缺乏,关键性的限制因素如密度较高、体积安定性不良、混合料沥青用量增加等仍未得到根本性解决,未来应重点研究钢渣沥青路面的长期性能及质量控制体系,并开展全寿命周期研究,以加快钢渣沥青路面的应用与推广。何亮 詹程阳 吕松涛 GRENFELL James 高杰 KOWALSKI Karol J VALENTIN Jan 谢君 REKLidija 凌天清 2020交通运输工程学报2020,20,2:68
2Machine learning modeling of superconducting critical temperature显示文摘Superconductivity has been the focus of enormous research effort since its discovery more than a century ago.Yet,some features of this unique phenomenon remain poorly understood;prime among these is the connection between superconductivity and chemical/structural properties of materials.To bridge the gap,several machine learning schemes are developed herein to model the critical temperatures(T_(c))of the 12,000+known superconductors available via the SuperCon database.Materials are first divided into two classes based on their T_(c) values,above and below 10 K,and a classification model predicting this label is trained.The model uses coarse-grained features based only on the chemical compositions.It shows strong predictive power,with out-of-sample accuracy of about 92%.Separate regression models are developed to predict the values of T_(c) for cuprate,iron-based,and low-T_(c) compounds.These models also demonstrate good performance,with learned predictors offering potential insights into the mechanisms behind superconductivity in different families of materials.To improve the accuracy and interpretability of these models,new features are incorporated using materials data from the AFLOW Online Repositories.Finally,the classification and regression models are combined into a single-integrated pipeline and employed to search the entire Inorganic Crystallographic Structure Database(ICSD)for potential new superconductors.We identify>30 non-cuprate and non-iron-based oxides as candidate materials.Valentin Stanev Corey Oses A.Gilad Kusne Efrain Rodriguez Johnpierre Paglione Stefano Curtarolo Ichiro Takeuchi 2018npj Computational Materials2018,,1:21
3Deep Learning Based Single Image Super-resolution:A Survey显示文摘Single image super-resolution has attracted increasing attention and has a wide range of applications in satellite imaging, medical imaging, computer vision, security surveillance imaging, remote sensing, objection detection, and recognition. Recently, deep learning techniques have emerged and blossomed, producing ' the state-of-the-art” in many domains. Due to their capability in feature extraction and mapping, it is very helpful to predict high-frequency details lost in low-resolution images. In this paper, we give an overview of recent advances in deep learning-based models and methods that have been applied to single image super-resolution tasks. 4Review of current diagnostic methods and advances in Helicobacter pylori diagnostics in the era of next generation sequencing显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection is highly prevalent in the human population and may lead to severe gastrointestinal pathology including gastric and duodenal ulcers,mucosa associated tissue lymphoma and gastric adenocarcinoma.In recent years,an alarming increase in antimicrobial resistance and subsequently failing empiric H.pylori eradication therapies have been noted worldwide,also in many European countries.Therefore,rapid and accurate determination of H.pylori’s antibiotic susceptibility prior to the administration of eradication regimens becomes ever more important.Traditionally,detection of H.pylori and its antimicrobial resistance is done by culture and phenotypic drug susceptibility testing that are cumbersome with a long turn-around-time.Recent advances in diagnostics provide new tools,like real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and line probe assays,to diagnose H.pylori infection and antimicrobial resistance to certain antibiotics,directly from clinical specimens.Moreover,high-throughput whole genome sequencing technologies allow the rapid analysis of the pathogen’s genome,thereby allowing identification of resistance mutations and associated antibiotic resistance.In the first part of this review,we will give an overview on currently available diagnostic methods for detection of H.pylori and its drug resistance and their implementation in H.pylori management.The second part of the review focusses on the use of next generation sequencing technology in H.pylori research.To this end,we conducted a literature search for original research articles in English using the terms“Helicobacter”,“transcriptomic”,“transcriptome”,“next generation sequencing”and“whole genome sequencing”.This review is aimed to bridge the gap between current diagnostic practice(histology,rapid urease test,H.pylori culture,PCR and line probe assays)and new sequencing technologies and their potential implementation in diagnostic laboratory settings in order to complement the currently recommended H.pylori management guidelines and subsequently improve public health.Daniel Pohl Peter M Keller Valentine Bordier Karoline Wagner 2019World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,32:15
5New aspects in the pathomechanism and diagnosis of the laryngopharyngeal reflux-clinical impact of laryngeal proton pumps and pharyngeal p H metry in extraesophageal gastroesophageal reflux disease显示文摘AIM:To determine the laryngeal H+K+-ATPase and pharyngeal p H in patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux(LPR)-symptoms as well as to assess the symptom scores during PPI therapy.METHODS:Endoscopy was performed to exclude neoplasia and to collect biopsies from the posterior cricoid area(immunohistochemistry and PCR analysis).Immunohistochemical staining was performed with monoclonal mouse antibodies against human H+K+-ATPase.Quantitative real-time RT-PCR for each of the H+K+-ATPase subunits was performed.The p H values were assessed in the aerosolized environment of the oropharynx(Dxp H Catheter) and compared to a subsequently applied combined p H/MII measurement.RESULTS:Twenty patients with LPR symptoms were included.In only one patient,the laryngeal H+K+-ATPase was verified by immunohistochemical staining.In another patient,real-time RT-PCR for each H+K+-ATPase subunit was positive.Fourteen out of twenty patients had pathological results in Dxp H,and 6/20 patients had pathological results in p H/MII.Four patients had pathological results in both functional tests.Nine out of twenty patients responded to PPIs.CONCLUSION:The laryngeal H+K+-ATPase can only be sporadically detected in patients with LPR symptoms and is unlikely to cause the LPR symptoms.Alternative hypotheses for the pathomechanism are needed.The role of pharyngeal p H-metry remains unclearand its use can only be recommended for patients in a research study setting.Valentin Becker Romina Drabner Simone Graf Christoph Schlag Simon Nennstiel Anna Maria Buchberger Roland M Schmid Dieter Saur Monther Bajbouj 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,3:14
6Antibacterial activity and characterization of secondary metabolites isolated from mangrove plant Avicennia officinalis显示文摘Objective:To explore antibacterial activity and characterization of secondary metabolites isolated from mangrove plant Avicennia officinalis(A.officinalis).Methods:In the present study the leaf extracts of A.officinalis were examined for its antibacterial potential using five different solvents against some reference strains of human pathogenic bacteria for the crude extract.Maximum activity was observed for ethyl acetate and hence different concentrations like 15μL,25μL,and 50μL of ethyl extracts was checked for its antibacterial activity.Partial purification of crude extract was carried by column chromatography and fractions were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) to identify compounds.Results:The crude ethyl acetate extracts of A.officinalis showed remarkable antibacterial activity with zones of inhibition of 13 mm against Eschericia coli(E.coli) and 11 mm against Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus).Fraction 13(ethyl acetate:methanol= 8:2) as the most potent one against with the minimal inhibitory concentration of 30 mm against E.coli and 25 mm against S.aureus.The GCMS resultsof active column fraction(F13) revealed that the active principals were a mixture of hydroxy- 4 methoxybenzoic acid,diethyl phthalate,oleic acid.Conclusions:The leaf extracts with proven antibacterial effects can clearly be directed towards cancer treatment as to inhibiting cancer cell growth.The limited number of test organisms owes to a constraint of resource.So,the effect of strong bursts of leaf extracts on human pathogenic bacteria should further be tested on a wide range of test organisms.Valentin Bhimba B J Meenupriya Elsa Lycias Joel D Edaya Naveena Suman kumar M Thangaraj 2010Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,7:13
7Serum biomarkers and risk of hepatocellular carcinoma recurrence after liver transplantation显示文摘Liver transplantation(LT) is the only potentially curative treatment for selected patients with cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) who are not candidates for resection. When the Milan criteria are strictly applied, 75% to85%of 3-to 4-year actuarial survival rates are achieved, but up to 20% of the patients experience HCC recurrence after transplantation. The Milan criteria are based on the preoperative tumor macromorphology, tumor size and number on computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging that neither correlate well with posttransplant histological study of the liver explant nor accurately predict HCC recurrence after LT, since they do not include objective measures of tumor biology. Preoperative biological markers, including alpha-fetoprotein, desgamma-carboxiprothrombin or neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-tolymphocyte ratio, can predict the risk for HCC recurrence after transplantation.These biomarkers have been proposed as surrogate markers of tumor differentiation and vascular invasion, with varied risk magnitudes depending on the defined cutoffs. Different studies have shown that the combination of one or several biomarkers integrated into prognostic models predict the risk of HCC recurrence after LT more accurately than Milan criteria alone. 9沥青体系的分子动力学研究进展及展望显示文摘随着我国道路工程的飞速发展,沥青混凝土在路面工程中有越来越广泛的应用。近年来,沥青材料的研究已不仅局限于宏观性能试验,还拓展到介观与微观层面对沥青材料进行多尺度研究。分子动力学方法属于微观研究方法的一种,它是通过积分算法模拟研究对象在不同条件下的分子运动轨迹与体系能量变化,并分析模拟数据得出结论。该方法已被广泛应用于分子尺度下路面沥青材料设计与微观机理研究,其优势在于从分子运动的角度解释沥青体系的各种现象与性质。因此,许多学者采用宏观试验和分子动力学模拟相结合的多尺度方法研究沥青体系,这将推动沥青材料的进一步发展。本文对沥青体系的分子动力学进行了全面的分析,构建了沥青体系分子动力学模型的一般平衡步骤,提出采用密度、玻璃态转变温度、黏度、溶解度参数等对沥青体系分子动力学模型的有效性进行验证。综合分析了分子动力学方法对沥青纳米聚集、自修复、改性、老化、界面黏附等行为机理的研究进展,提出采用耗散粒子动力学与粗粒化分子动力学对现阶段沥青体系分子动力学的研究尺度进行扩展。研究结果表明,沥青类材料的分子动力学方法还处于早期探索阶段,但其发展潜力极大,利用分子动力学方法研究沥青体系各组分分子的动力学行为,可揭示常规试验无法观察到的分子含时运动规律,预测沥青材料的宏观性能并针对沥青的分子结构提出其路用性能改善措施,从分子尺度上推动沥青路面多尺度试验仿真方法的发展与完善,为沥青材料基因组的开发研究奠定基础。何亮 李冠男 郑雨丰 Alessio Alexiadis Jan Valentin Karol J Kowalski 2020材料导报2020,34,19:10
10瓦氏骨外固定支架三角形有限性固定技术在胫腓骨骨折中的应用显示文摘目的 通过对俄罗斯骨科环形外固定支架的学习,探讨瓦氏骨外固定支架三角形有限性固定技术治疗胫腓骨骨折的疗效. 方法 回顾性分析2005年12月至2007年12月期间,使用瓦氏骨外固定支架三角形有限性固定技术治疗54例胫腓骨骨折患者,男48例,女6例 年龄18~54岁,平均34岁(18~54岁).骨折类型按AO分类:41-C3型2例(其中1例合并43-B2型,另1例合并43-A3型) 42-A型17例,42-B型13例,42-C型12例 43-B型5例,43-C型5例.开放性损伤26例,按Gustilo-Anderson分型:Ⅱ型13例,ⅢA型10例,ⅢC型3例 闭合性损伤28例,按Tscherne分类:Ⅰ级8例,Ⅱ级20例.均采用闭合复位瓦氏骨外固定支架骨圆针三角形有限性固定治疗. 结果 28例闭合性损伤患者1周肿胀消退 26例开放损伤创口一期愈合24例,1例经换药后4周愈合,1例截肢.50例患者术后获3~14个月(平均10个月)随访,4例失访.50例患者骨折愈合时间为2~6个月,平均3个月.1例患者发生骨不连,经改单臂外固定支架固定后12周骨折获愈合.本组无功能障碍患者. 结论 瓦氏骨外固定支架三角形有限性固定技术在复杂胫腓骨骨折中的应用价值较高,其器械的三维调整力学性能使闭合复位变得容易,损伤小,骨愈合快,固定稳定可靠,感染率低,并发症少.刘长山 任彦俊 Vinogradov Valentin 2010中华创伤骨科杂志2010,12,3:8
11沥青自修复微胶囊研究进展显示文摘微胶囊技术在世界上已应用于多个领域,包括医药、食品和化工等,具有广阔的应用前景。将微胶囊引入到沥青材料自修复中,可提高沥青材料的自修复能力并在裂缝产生初期即可自我修复,延长路面使用寿命。与传统的裂缝修补方法相比,微胶囊自修复技术具有节能减排、降低养护成本和防止微裂缝扩展至宏观裂缝等优势。然而,沥青自修复微胶囊技术仍处于初步探索阶段,将微米级微胶囊应用于沥青材料自修复领域还存在着微胶囊强度控制范围不够明确,微胶囊破裂理论尚不成熟,且微胶囊制备工艺参数设计尚不统一等问题。因此,研究者们除研究制备工艺的影响外,还主要从选择合适的制备工艺影响参数和微胶囊的结构与性能方面不断尝试,并取得了丰硕的成果。随着制备工艺的不断成熟和影响参数的不断优化,经原位聚合法制备的微胶囊结构致密、性能优良。目前对掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复的研究仍存在对沥青材料自修复提升效果的评价方法和评价指标尚不统一等问题。掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复效果主要通过不同的指标来体现,包括延度、复数模量、拉伸强度、试件的载荷和沥青混合料的疲劳寿命等。其中,还对掺微胶囊的沥青混合料进行了路用性能研究。通过不同的评价指标表明,微胶囊显著提升了沥青材料的自修复效果;掺微胶囊的沥青混合料的水稳定性和高温稳定性略有下降,低温抗裂性下降较大,但仍满足规范要求。为总结沥青自修复微胶囊的研究进展,本文对比分析了多种自修复微胶囊制备方法的优势和特点,解析了影响微胶囊质量的主要因素(芯壁比、反应温度、终点pH值、乳化转速、酸化时间),总结了微胶囊的结构与性能的表征方法,介绍了掺微胶囊沥青材料自修复性能的评价方法与提升效果,阐述了微胶囊对沥青混合料路用性能的影响,探讨了借助分子动力学手段研究掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复行为理论的可行性并展望了其未来发展前景,以期为微米级微胶囊的应用与发展提供参考。何亮 黄胡端 Wim Van den bergh Tóth Csaba 高杰 Karol Kowalski Jan Valentin 2020材料导报2020,34,15:7

13Busting the efficiency of SAPO-34 catalysts for the methanol-to-olefin conversion by post-synthesis methods显示文摘As an effective non-petroleum based process for producing light olefins, the methanol-to-olefin(MTO) route has become an indispensable alternative to the industrial production of light olefins. The silicoaluminophosphate SAPO-34 zeolite(CHA-type structure) has proven to be an efficient industrial catalyst for the production of ethylene and propylene by the MTO reaction. However, the inherent structure and related diffusion limitations of SAPO-34 limit the mass transport and thus cause rapid deactivation of the catalyst. Fabrication of hierarchical SAPO-34 zeolite is one of the most effective strategies to address the intrinsic diffusion limitation. As simple, inexpensive, and efficient approach, the post-synthetic route has attracted considerable attention and widely used to introduce secondary meso-/macropores into the microporous SAPO-34 material. Significant effort has been dedicated to the development of post-synthesis strategies to prepare hierarchical SAPO-34 zeolite, thereby enhancing its catalytic performance in the MTO process. This mini-review addresses the post-synthesis preparation of hierarchical SAPO-34 catalysts and their MTO performance. Furthermore, some current problems and prospects of the post-synthesis route to hierarchical SAPO-34 catalysts are also revised. 14Identification of advanced spin-driven thermoelectric materials via interpretable machine learning显示文摘Machine learning is becoming a valuable tool for scientific discovery.Particularly attractive is the application of machine learning methods to the field of materials development,which enables innovations by discovering new and better functional materials.To apply machine learning to actual materials development,close collaboration between scientists and machine learning tools is necessary.However,such collaboration has been so far impeded by the black box nature of many machine learning algorithms.It is often difficult for scientists to interpret the data-driven models from the viewpoint of material science and physics.Here,we demonstrate the development of spin-driven thermoelectric materials with anomalous Nernst effect by using an interpretable machine learning method called factorized asymptotic Bayesian inference hierarchical mixture of experts(FAB/HMEs).Based on prior knowledge of material science and physics,we were able to extract from the interpretable machine learning some surprising correlations and new knowledge about spin-driven thermoelectric materials.Guided by this,we carried out an actual material synthesis that led to the identification of a novel spin-driven thermoelectric material.This material shows the largest thermopower to date.Yuma Iwasaki Ryohto Sawada Valentin Stanev Masahiko Ishida Akihiro Kirihara Yasutomo Omori Hiroko Someya Ichiro Takeuchi Eiji Saitoh Shinichi Yorozu 2019npj Computational Materials2019,,1:7
15New Clues that May Link Osteoporosis to the Circulating Lipid Profile显示文摘Bone Mineral Density(BMD)is a gold standard for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and is also important in the assessment of fracture risk.Other risk factors have been identified that together make up fracture risk assessment tools such as FRAX.Another potential factor,circulating lipids,has been suggested because of reports linking statins to fracture risk reduction.We analyzed the lipid profile in a cohort of women diagnosed with postmenopausal osteoporosis based on bone density determination:610 women with osteoporosis(mean lumbar spine T-score-3.16±0.81,mean yrs.since menopause 15.79±8.9)were grouped according to age at evaluation(<50 years,51-60 years,61-70 years,>70 years),the presence/absence of a history of a fragility fracture,statin and/or antiresorptive drug use.There was no correlation between BMD and Body Mass Index(BMI:P>0.05,r2<0.02).However,when BMD was correlated with both BMI and the lipid profile(Triglycerides,Cholesterol,LDLc,HDLc),significant correlations were found in 5 cohorts:51-60 years with fractures(n=61,r2=0.14,P<0.01),61-70 years(n=201,r2=0.09,P<0.01)with fractures(n=88,r2=0.14,P<0.01)or without fractures(n=113,r2=0.24,P=0.02)and over 70 years(n=247,r2=0.11,P<0.01).Catalina Poiana Valentin Radoi Mara Carsote John P. 16Unsupervised phase mapping of X-ray diffraction data by nonnegative matrix factorization integrated with custom clustering显示文摘Analyzing large X-ray diffraction(XRD)datasets is a key step in high-throughput mapping of the compositional phase diagrams of combinatorial materials libraries.Optimizing and automating this task can help accelerate the process of discovery of materials with novel and desirable properties.Here,we report a new method for pattern analysis and phase extraction of XRD datasets.The method expands the Nonnegative Matrix Factorization method,which has been used previously to analyze such datasets,by combining it with custom clustering and cross-correlation algorithms.This new method is capable of robust determination of the number of basis patterns present in the data which,in turn,enables straightforward identification of any possible peak-shifted patterns.Peak-shifting arises due to continuous change in the lattice constants as a function of composition and is ubiquitous in XRD datasets from composition spread libraries.Successful identification of the peak-shifted patterns allows proper quantification and classification of the basis XRD patterns,which is necessary in order to decipher the contribution of each unique single-phase structure to the multi-phase regions.The process can be utilized to determine accurately the compositional phase diagram of a system under study.The presented method is applied to one synthetic and one experimental dataset and demonstrates robust accuracy and identification abilities.Valentin Stanev Velimir V.Vesselinov A.Gilad Kusne Graham Antoszewski Ichiro Takeuchi Boian S.Alexandrov 2018npj Computational Materials2018,,1:5
17Generation of 84-fs pulses from a mode-locked Tm:CNNGG disordered garnet crystal laser显示文摘A mode-locked laser based on a Tm:CNNGG disordered crystal as an active medium and a single-walled carbon nanotube saturable absorber is demonstrated, operating at a central wavelength of 2018 nm. 18Multifunctional metaoptics based on bilayer metasurfaces显示文摘Optical metasurfaces have become versatile platforms for manipulating the phase,amplitude,and polarization of light.A platform for achieving independent control over each of these properties,however,remains elusive due to the limited engineering space available when using a single-layer metasurface.For instance,multiwavelength metasurfaces suffer from performance limitations due to space filling constraints,while control over phase and amplitude can be achieved,but only for a single polarization.Here,we explore bilayer dielectric metasurfaces to expand the design space for metaoptics.The ability to independently control the geometry and function of each layer enables the development of multifunctional metaoptics in which two or more optical properties are independently designed.As a proof of concept,we demonstrate multiwavelength holograms,multiwavelength waveplates,and polarization-insensitive 3D holograms based on phase and amplitude masks.The proposed architecture opens a new avenue for designing complex flat optics with a wide variety of functionalities.You Zhou Ivan I.Kravchenko Hao Wang Hanyu Zheng Gong Gu Jason Valentine 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:4
19中美两家医院早产儿营养策略的对照研究显示文摘目的对比中美两家医院的早产儿营养支持数据,以期找到差距及改善方法。方法对2011年1月至2012年5月北京协和医院儿科NICU(PUMCH组)及2011年1月至2012年1月美国辛辛那提儿童医学中心辛辛那提大学医院NICU(CCHMC组)收治的胎龄<32周早产儿的肠内外营养数据进行回顾性对比研究。结果 PUMCH组74例、CCHMC组82例纳入研究。PUMCH组胎龄和出生体重均显著大于CCHMC组(P<0.01)。PUMCH组应用氨基酸和脂肪乳的总量均显著高于CCHMC组[分别为58±30 g/kg vs 24.0(19.6,32.8)g/kg,P<0.01;35±16 g/kg vs 14.0(11.0,22.5)g/kg,P<0.01],肠外营养时间显著长于CCHMC组[24±10 d vs 8.0(6.0,11.0)d,P<0.01]。PUMCH组母乳喂养率显著低于CCHMC组(10%vs 94%,P<0.01),达到足量喂养时间显著迟于CCHMC组[22±9 d vs 12.0(10.0,14.0)d,P<0.01]。CCHMC组坏死性小肠结肠炎发生率显著高于PUMCH组(13%vs 3%,P=0.018)。PUMCH组败血症发生率显著高于CCHMC组(32%vs 12%,P<0.01)。结论 PUMCH组较CCHMC组肠外营养时间延长、院内感染发生增加。需要推进强化母乳喂养、采取更积极的喂养方案以加快喂养进程。李正红 董梅 王丹华 Cristina J Valentine 2014中国当代儿科杂志2014,16,7:4
