| 4 | Ti2CTx MXene-based all-optical modulator显示文摘MXenes,a new class of 2D transition metal carbides,nitrides,and carbonitrides,have attracted much attention due to their outstanding properties.Here,we report the broadband spatial self-phase modulation of Ti2CTx MXene nanosheets dispersed in deionized water in the visible to near-infrared regime,highlighting the broadband nonlinear optical(NLO)response of Ti2CTx MXene.Using ultrafast pulsed laser excitation,the nonlinear refractive index n2 and the thirdorder nonlinear susceptibility χ^(3)monolayer of Ti2CTx MXene were measured to be^10^−13 m^2/W and ~10^−10 esu,respectively.Leveraging the large optical nonlinearity of Ti2CTx MXene,an all-optical modulator in the visible regime was fabricated based on the spatial cross-phase modulation effect.This work suggests that 2D MXenes are ideal broadband NLO materials with excellent prospects in NLO applications. | Jun Yi Jie Li Shuohan Huang Longyu Hu Lili Miao Chujun Zhao Shuangchun Wen Vadym N.Mochalin Apparao M.Rao | 2020 | InfoMat2020,2,3: | 1 |

| 14 | Influence of Chemical Precleaning on the Plasma Treatment Efficiency of Aluminum by RF Plasma Pencil显示文摘This paper is aimed to show the influence of initial chemical pretreatment prior to subsequent plasma activation of aluminum surfaces.The results of our study showed that the state of the topmost surface layer(i.e.the surface morphology and chemical groups)of plasma modified aluminum significantly depends on the chemical precleaning.Commonly used chemicals(isopropanol,trichlorethane,solution of Na OH in deionized water)were used as precleaning agents.The plasma treatments were done using a radio frequency driven atmospheric pressure plasma pencil developed at Masaryk University,which operates in Ar,Ar/O_2 gas mixtures.The effectiveness of the plasma treatment was estimated by the wettability measurements,showing high wettability improvement already after 0.3 s treatment.The effects of surface cleaning(hydrocarbon removal),surface oxidation and activation(generation of OH groups)were estimated using infrared spectroscopy.The changes in the surface morphology were measured using scanning electron microscopy.Optical emission spectroscopy measurements in the near-to-surface region with temperature calculations showed that plasma itself depends on the sample precleaning procedure. | Vadym PRYSIAZHNYI Pavel SLAVICEK Eliska MIKMEKOVA Milos KLIMA | 2016 | Plasma Science and Technology2016,18,4: | 0 |

| 16 | Ammonia borane at high pressures显示文摘Ammonia borane has received tremendous research attention in the past decade because of its potential for chemical hydrogen storage. This paper reviews recent studies about the behavior of ammonia borane at high pressures. While much work is still needed to comprehensively understand the pressure influence on this molecular crystal, a phase diagram based on the available experimental and theoretical data is constructed. Raman spectroscopy studies indicate five transitions upon compression up to 65 GPa at ambient temperature. Diffraction experiments and theoretical studies demonstrate that three of these transitions are first-order phase transformations in the sequence of I4mm-Cmc21-P21-(different) P21, and two are iso-structural.
