1A review on the gun barrel vibrations and control for a main battle tank显示文摘Achieving high hitting accuracy for a main battle tank is challenging while the tank is on the move. This can be reached by proper design of a weapon control and gun system. In order to design an effective gun system while the tank is moving, better understanding of the dynamic behavior of the gun system is required. In this study, the dynamic behaviour of a gun system is discussed in this respect. Both experimental and numerical applications for the determination of the dynamic behaviour of a tank gun system are investigated. Methods such as the use of muzzle reference system(MRS) and vibration absorbers, and active vibration control technology for the control and the reduction of the muzzle tip deflections are also reviewed. For the existing gun systems without making substantial modifications,MRS could be useful in controlling the deflections of gun barrels with estimation/prediction algorithms.The vibration levels could be cut into half by the use of optimised vibration absorbers for an existing gun.A new gun system with a longer barrel can be as accurate as the one with a short barrel with the appropriate structural modifications.Tolga Dursun Firat Biiyiikcivelek Cagrihan Utlu 2017Defence Technology(防务技术)2017,13,5:2
2Synthesis and characterization of salt-impregnated anodic aluminum oxide composites for low-grade heat storage显示文摘Thermochemical heat storage(THS)systems have recently attracted a lot of attention in research and development.In this study,an anodic aluminum oxide(AAO)template,fabricated by a two-step anodization method,was used for the first time as the matrix material for a THS system.Different salts were studied as thermochemical materials for their suitability in low-grade heat storage application driven by solar energy for an open system.Compositions were prepared by absorbing CaCl2,MgCl2,LiCl,LiNO3 and mixtures of these salts under a vacuum in an AAO matrix.Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy was used to examine the morphology of the produced AAO composites.Thermal energy storage capacities of the composites were characterized using a differential scanning calorimeter.Characterization analysis showed that anodized Al plates were suitable matrix materials for THS systems,and composite sorbent prepared with a 1:1 ratio LiCl/LiNO3 salt mixture had the highest energy value among all composites,with an energy density of 468.1 k J·kg-1.Bengisu Yilmaz Behiye Yüksel Gökhan Orhan Devrim Aydin Zafer Utlu 2020International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2020,27,1:2
