| 1 | Global signatures of protein binding on structured RNAs in Saccharomyces cerevisiae显示文摘Protein binding is essential to the transport,decay and regulation of almost all RNA molecules.However,the structural preference of protein binding on RNAs and their cellular functions and dynamics upon changing environmental conditions are poorly understood.Here,we integrated various high-throughput data and introduced a computational framework to describe the global interactions between RNA binding proteins(RBPs)and structured RNAs in yeast at single-nucleotide resolution.We found that on average,in terms of percent total lengths,~15%of mRNA untranslated regions(UTRs),~37%of canonical non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)and^11%of long ncRNAs(lncRNAs)are bound by proteins.The RBP binding sites,in general,tend to occur at single-stranded loops,with evolutionarily conserved signatures,and often facilitate a specific RNA structure conformation in vivo.We found that four nucleotide modifications of tRNA are significantly associated with RBP binding.We also identified various structural motifs bound by RBPs in the UTRs of mRNAs,associated with localization,degradation and stress responses.Moreover,we identified>200 novel lncRNAs bound by RBPs,and about half of them contain conserved secondary structures.We present the first ensemble pattern of RBP binding sites in the structured non-coding regions of a eukaryotic genome,emphasizing their structural context and cellular functions. | YANG YuCheng UMETSU Jumpei LU Zhi John | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,1: | 7 |

| 6 | Magnetic relaxation behavior of a spatially closed dysprosium(Ⅲ) phthalocyaninato double-decker complex显示文摘The SMM properties of the spatially closed Dy(Ⅲ) double-decker Pc complex Dy(obPc) 2 (1), which is equivalent to a pseudo dinuclear complex, are reported. Complex 1 crystallized with ethanol in the crystal lattice in the monoclinic space group P21/n and was isomorphous with Tb(obPc) 2 (3), which is arranged in a dimer structure along the b axis. The intermetallic Dy-Dy distance was determined to be 0.756 nm. χM T versus T plots for 1 decreased with a decrease in T, which suggests the existence of an antiferromagnetic (AF) interaction between the Dy 3+ ions. The M-H curve for 1 at 1.8 K showed magnetic hysteresis. In ac susceptibility measurements on a powder sample of 1, which were dependent on the applied ac field, indicating that 1 is an single molecule magnet (SMM), a maximum appeared at 22 K at an ac frequency (f) of 1488 Hz. The shape of the peaks drastically changed, and the peaks did not shift when an H dc large enough to suppress the quantum tunneling of the magnetization (QTM) was applied. The energy barrier (△/hc) was estimated to be 44 cm-1 with a pre-exponential factor (τ0 ) of 1.6 × 10 -5 s from an Arrhenius plot. Our results suggest that the SMM/magnetic properties of 1 significantly change in a dc magnetic field. | 8 | Structure and properties of nanoporous FePt fabricated by dealloying a melt-spun Fe(60)Pt(20)B(20)alloy and subsequent annealing显示文摘A nanoporous FePt alloy has been fabricated by dealloying a melt-spun Fe(60)Pt(20)B(20)alloy composed of nanoscale amorphous and face-centered-cubic FePt(fcc-FePt)phases in H2 SO4 aqueous solution.The nanoporous alloy consists of single fcc-FePt phase with an Fe/Pt atomic ratio of about 55.3/44.7,and possesses a uniform interpenetrating ligament-channel structure with average ligament and pore sizes of 27 nm and 12 nm,respectively.The nanoporous fcc-FePt alloy shows soft magnetic characteristics with a saturation magnetization of 37.9 emu/g and better electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation than commercial Pt/C in acidic environment.The phase transformation from disordered fcc-Fe Pt into ordered face-centered-tetragonal FePt(L10-FePt)in the nanoporous alloy has been realized after annealing at823-943 K for 600 s.The volume fraction of the L10-FePt phase in the alloy increases with the rise of annealing temperature,which results in the enhancements of coercivity and saturation magnetization from 0.14 kOe and 38.5 emu/g to 8.42 kOe and 51.4 emu/g,respectively.The ligament size of the samples is increased after annealing. | Dianguo Ma Yingmin Wang Yanhui Li Rie Y·Umetsu Shuli Ou Kunio Yubuta Wei Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,36,1: | 2 |
