2高温胁迫对杧果幼苗生理生化指标的影响显示文摘通过测定高温胁迫下四季杧与台农一号杧一年生嫁接苗叶片生理生化指标的变化,探讨其耐热的生理生化机制。结果表明:随着高温胁迫时间的延长,四季杧和台农一号杧的丙二醛(MDA)含量和相对电导率均明显上升,但四季杧的上升幅度和含量均明显高于台农一号杧。保护酶活性方面,高温胁迫处理后四季杧的SOD酶先下降后上升,而台农一号杧则是先上升后下降,且其含量明显高于四季杧;CAT酶的含量在高温胁迫后2个品种均减少,但四季杧CAT酶的含量明显高于台农一号杧。渗透调节物质游离脯氨酸在高温胁迫处理后含量明显高于处理前,但台农一号杧的上升程度明显高于四季杧。可溶性糖的含量在处理后12 h时,四季杧的含量明显高于台农一号杧,但在处理后72 h时,结果却相反。可溶性蛋白含量先下降后上升,并且四季杧的上升程度明显高于台农一号杧。胁迫处理后2个杧果品种的叶绿素含量和叶片相对含水量均下降,但四季杧的含量均明显低于台农一号杧。综合各项指标,初步推测台农一号杧比四季杧更耐热。CAN VAN TOAN 罗聪 何新华 董龙 DO MINH PHU 2016热带作物学报2016,37,1:12
3基于ENVISAT ASAR数据的水稻估产方案显示文摘水稻多生长在温暖潮湿的多云多雨地区,使雷达遥感成为水稻遥感监测的重要手段之一.因此,提出应用多时相、多极化ENVISAT ASAR数据进行区域水稻估产的方案.首先利用ASAR数据进行水稻制图,提取水稻种植分布图和多时相水稻后向散射系数.随后,基于像元尺度,采用同化估产方法,以LAI为结合点,将水稻作物模型ORYZA2000与半经验水稻后向散射模型结合,建立嵌套模型模拟多时相水稻后向散射系数.对ORYZA2000模型进行参数敏感性分析,选择水稻出苗期和播种密度为参数优化对象.利用全局优化算法SCE-UA对优化参数进行重新初始化,以使模拟的水稻后向散射系数与实测值误差最小,并利用优化后的ORYZA2000模型计算每个像元的水稻产量,生成区域的水稻产量分布图.最后,使用2006年在中国兴化地区进行的水稻同步试验数据对该方案进行了验证.结果表明,由于采用潜在生长条件模拟,模拟的水稻产量明显高于实测产量,其平均值比实际情形高约13,根均方误差达到1133kg/hm2,但获取的水稻产量分布图能够描绘研究区水稻实际产量的分布趋势.由此可见,该方案为多云多雨地区的水稻遥感监测提供了重要参考.申双和 杨沈斌 李秉柏 谭炳香 李增元 Le Toan Thuy 2009中国科学(D辑)2009,,6:11
4Genetic variants of interferon regulatory factor 5 associated with chronic hepatitis B infection显示文摘AIM To investigate possible effects of IRF5 polymorphisms in the 3' UTR region of the IFR5 locus on susceptibilityto hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection and progression of liver diseases among clinically classified Vietnamese patients.METHODS Four IFR5 SNPs(rs13242262 A/T, rs77416878 C/T, rs10488630 A/G, and rs2280714 T/C) were genotyped in clinically classified HBV patients [chronic hepatitis B(CHB). n = 99; liver cirrhosis(LC), n = 131; hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), n = 149] and in 242 healthy controls by direct sequencing and Taq Man realtime PCR assays. RESULTS Comparing patients and controls, no significant association was observed for the four IFR5 variants. However, the alleles rs13242262 T and rs10488630 G contributed to an increased risk of liver cirrhosis(LC vs CHB: OR = 1.5, 95%CI: 1.1-2.3, adjusted P = 0.04; LC vs CHB: OR = 1.7, 95%CI: 1.1-2.6, adjusted P = 0.019). Haplotype IRF5*TCGT constructed from 4 SNPs was observed frequently in LC compared to CHB patients(OR = 2.1, 95%CI: 1.2-3.3, adjusted P = 0.008). Haplotype IRF5*TCAT occurred rather among CHB patients than in the other HBV patient groups(LC vs CHB: OR = 0.4, 95%CI: 0.2-0.8, adjusted P = 0.03; HCC vs CHB: OR = 0.3, 95%CI: 0.15-0.7, adjusted P = 0.003). The IRF5*TCAT haplotype was also associated with increased levels of ALT, AST and bilirubin. 5杧果低分子量热激蛋白基因MiHSP17.6的克隆及表达分析显示文摘采用RT-PCR与RACE相结合的方法获得了杧果低分子量热激蛋白基因的c DNA全长序列,命名为Mi HSP17.6,Gen Bank登录号为KJ459857。序列分析显示,该基因序列全长为680 bp,其中开放阅读框为462 bp,编码154个氨基酸,5′非编码区和3′非编码区长度分别为80 bp和135 bp。杧果Mi HSP17.6与其他物种的低分子量热激蛋白同源性介于74%~82%。实时荧光定量分析表明,Mi HSP17.6在‘四季杧’不同组织器官中均表达,在果实发育的中期表达水平持续上升。高温(44℃)、低温(4℃)、盐(Na Cl)、聚乙二醇(PEG)、脱落酸(ABA)、双氧水(H2O2)和水杨酸(SA)处理均诱导该基因表达,因此推测Mi HSP17.6的功能可能与杧果果实发育和抵御逆境胁迫相关。CAN Van Toan 罗聪 董龙 刘召亮 何新华 2014园艺学报2014,41,12:7
6A scheme for regional rice yield estimation using ENVISAT ASAR data显示文摘Information on rice growing areas and rice production is critical for most rice growing countries to make state and economic policies. However, the areas where rice crop is cultivated are often cloudy and rainy, which entails the use of radar remote sensing data for rice monitoring. In this paper, a practical scheme to integrate multi-temporal and multi-polarization ENVISAT ASAR data into rice crop model for regional rice yield estimation has been presented. To achieve this, rice distribution information should be obtained first by rice mapping method to retrieve rice fields from ASAR images, and then an assimilation method is applied to use the observed multi-temporal rice backscattering coefficients which are grouped for each rice pixel to re-initialize ORYZA2000 to predict rice yield. The assimilation method re-initializes the model with optimal input parameters, allowing a better temporal agreement between the rice backscattering coefficients retrieved from ASAR data and the rice backscattering coefficients simulated by a coupled model, i.e., the combination of ORYZA2000 and a semi-empirical rice backscatter model through LAI. The SCE-UA optimization algorithm is employed to determine the optimal set of input parameters. After the re-initialization, rice yield for each rice pixel is calculated, and the yield map over the area of interest is produced. The scheme was validated over Xinghua study area located in the middle of Jiangsu Province of China by using the data set of an experimental campaign carried out during the 2006 rice season. The result shows that the obtained rice yield map generally overestimates the actual rice production by 13% on average and with a root mean square error of approximately 1133 kg/ha on validation sites, but the tendency of rice growth status and spatial variation of the rice yield are well predicted and highly consistent with the actual production variation.LE TOAN Thuy 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,8:7

8Relationship between skin fold thickness and insulin resistance in the essential hypertensive patients in Vietnam显示文摘Previous studies reported a close relationship between obesity and insulin resistance in the essential hypertensive patients. Objective In this study, we examined the relationship between the skin fold thickness and insulin resistance then developed a formula to estimate the insulin resistance index according to the skin fold thickness in the essential hypertensive patients. Subjects and Methods Medical records of 80 patients (37 males, 43 females) were reviewed and the data were tabulated. Anthropometric indexes (including height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, and skins fold thickness at 5 fatty difference points on the Erdheim diagram), fasting plasma glucose and insulin concentration were recorded. The mean age was 57.0±9.2 years. The insulin resistance index was calculated following the Homeostasis Model Assessment (HOMA) formula. Results Compared with the group with BMI<23kg/m2, the group with BMI≥23 kg/m2 had higher fasting insulin concentration (8.85 ± 4.97 pmol/L vs 15.60 ± 8.70 pmol/L, P<0.001 ) and higher insulin resistance index in (2.15±1,24 vs 3.76±2.22, P<0.001). No significant difference in fasting plasma insulin concentration,insulin resistance index between male and female was observed (P>0.05). There was a positive correlation between skin fold thickness and the fasting insulin concentration and insulin resistance index. The skin fold thickness at point A8 had the best coefficient correlated with fasting plasma insulin(r=0.79, P<0.001) and insulin resistance index (r= 0.79, P < 0.001). 12Screening of phenolic compounds in australian grown grapes and their potential antioxidant activities显示文摘Grapes(Vitis Vinifera)are one of the world's most utilised and prized fruit.Grapes are a great source of antioxidants due to the abundance of phenolic compounds.Grape pulp is the main part of the grape being consumed.The pulp of five Australian grown grapes–Dawn Seedless(DS),Calmeria(CG),Golden Globe(GG),Menindee Seedless(MS),and Thompson Seedless(TS)will be qualitatively and quantitatively analysed for its phenolic composition and antioxidant capacity.The general trend followed:GG>TS>MS>DS>CG,and the phenolic content of the pulp also presented a significant positive correlation with the antioxidant capacity.GG revealing the highest levels of TPC(4.31±0.11 mg GAE/g)and TFC(0.48±0.09 mg QE/g)while TS were highest in TTC(0.94±0.12 mg CE/g).Similarly,GG exhibited higher antioxidant capacity in DPPH(5.84±0.17 mg AAE/g),FRAP(4.91±0.14 mg AAE/g),and TAC(6.78±0.12 mg AAE/g),while TS revealed highest radical scavenging ability for ABTS(4.56±0.19 mg AAE/g).The LC-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS tentatively identified 78 phenolic compounds consisting of flavonoids(36),phenolic acids(31),lignans(3),stilbenes(1),and other polyphenols(7)in five grapes samples.Ten most abundant fruit-based targeted polyphenols were quantified.GG had a higher phenolic concentration in HPLC-PDA quantification,particularly for phenolic acids(gallic acid and chlorogenic acid)and flavonoids(kaempferol).Our study provides relatively adequate information on grape pulp's phenolic content and antioxidant capacity,providing confidence and research prospects to promote grape pulp use in different food,pharmaceutical and supplement industries,and even influencing grape cultivation.Gia Toan Vo Ziyao Liu Osbert Chou Biming Zhong Colin J.Barrow Frank R.Dunshea Hafiz A.R.Suleria 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:2

14Forecasting cryptocurrency returns and volume using search engines显示文摘In the context of the debate on the role of cryptocurrencies in the economy as well as their dynamics and forecasting,this brief study analyzes the predictability of Bitcoin volume and returns using Google search values.We employed a rich set of established empirical approaches,including a VAR framework,a copulas approach,and non-parametric drawings,to capture a dependence structure.Using a weekly dataset from 2013 to 2017,our key results suggest that the frequency of Google searches leads to positive returns and a surge in Bitcoin trading volume.Shocks to search values have a positive effect,which persisted for at least a week.Our findings contribute to the debate on cryptocurrencies/Bitcoins and have profound implications in terms of understanding their dynamics,which are of special interest to investors and economic policymakers.Muhammad Ali Nasir Toan Luu Duc Huynh Sang Phu Nguyen Duy Duong 2019Financial Innovation2019,5,1:2
15Skin fold thickness at abdomen:a simple anthropometric measurement may compliment metabolic syndrome definition in patients with normal waist circumference显示文摘Backgroud and Objectives Previous studies have reported that skin fold thickness (SF) strongly correlated with insulin resistance in the metabolic syndrome (MetS). In this study, we developed a MetS definition by SF at A8 point (SFA8) on Erdheim diagram(MetSSFA8) in essential hypertensive patients. Subjects and Methods Medical records of 268 essential hypertensive patients (126males and 122 females) were analyzed, including 210 non-diabetic patients (NDM group) and 58 patients with diabetes (DM group).The mean age was 61.4 ± 9.9 and 59.0 ± 11.0 years, respectively. The control group consisted of 90 non-diabetic, non-hypertensive patients with a mean age of 58.0 ± 11.3 years. The proposed MetSSFA8 definition included SFA8 specific values ( ≥30 mm in female and ≥27 mm in male) and at least two of the following: raised triglyceride levels ( ≥1.7 mmol/L), or specific treatment for this lipid abnormality; raised blood pressure (SBP≥130 mmHg and/or DBP≥85 mmHg), or treatment of previously diagnosed hypertension;reduced HDL-cholesterol (< 1.03 mmol/L in men, <1.29 mmol/L in women), or specific treatment for this lipid abnormality; raised fasting plasma glucose (≥5.6 mmol/l), or previously diagnosed DM. Metabolic Syndrome by the National Cholesterol Education Program and International Diabetes Federation definitions were determined with abdominal obesity defined by Asia-Pacific criteria for waist circumference (NCEPA and IDFA). Results The percentage of MetS as defined by NCEPA, IDFA and MetSSFA8 in NDM group was lower than that of NCEPA, IDFA and MetSSFA8 in DM group [OR=7.7 (95%CI, 2.9-20.2) and 2.5 (95%CI, 1.4-4.8) and 2.7(95%CI, 1.3-5.6), respectively] and higher than that of the control group [OR=53.3 (95%CI, 16.7-170.6), 5.8 (95%CI, 2.6-13.2) and18.8 (95%CI, 7.3-48.7), respectively]. The percentage of MetS by NCEPA, IDFA and MetSSFA8 in males in NDM group was lower than the percentage of MetS by NCEPA, IDFA and MetSSFA8 in females in NDM group (50.8% and 77.9%, P< 0.001; 15,9% and 67.2%, P< 0.001; 60.3% and 73.8%, P <0.05, respectively). In subjects with normal WC or both normal WC and BMI, the percentage of MetS by SFAS was higher than that the percentage of MetS by NCEPA (36.9% and 50.8%, P< 0.05 and 36.0% and 51.0%, P< 0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, false positive rate, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of MetSSFA8 assessed with NCEPA definitions were 0.87, 0.73, 0.27, 0.79 and 0.82, respectively. There was a close agreement between MetSSFA8 and NCEPA (The coefficient of Kapa was 0.60, P< 0.001). 16Superhydrophobic self-extinguishing cotton fabrics for electromagnetic interference shielding and human motion detection显示文摘Multifunctional intelligent fire-safe cotton fabric promises next-generation fire-fighting uniform and sen-sor applications.However,cotton fabrics’hygroscopicity and intrinsic flammability significantly impede their potential applications in industries.Herein,we report a superhydrophobic fireproof cotton fabric(PEI-APP-PEI-MXene)generated via sequential layer-by-layer deposition of polyethyleneimine(PEI),am-monium polyphosphate(APP),and titanium carbide(MXene),followed by hydrophobic treatment with silicone elastomer.Compared to untreated cotton,the treated cotton fabric with 10 polymolecular layers exhibits∼43%and∼42%reductions in the peak heat release rate and total heat release,respectively,a desired UL-94 V-0 rating,and a high limiting oxygen index(LOI)value of 39.5 vol.%.In addition to that,the treated fabrics displayed improved electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and motion-sensing abilities.The presented work provides a facile and effective surface modification approach to generate multifunctional cotton fabrics with promising practical applications.Lei Liu Zhewen Ma Menghe Zhu Lina Liu Jinfeng Dai Yongqian Shi Jiefeng Gao Toan Dinh Thanh Nguyen Long-Cheng Tang Pingan Song 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,1:2
