| 3 | Effect of rGO Coating on Interconnected Co_3O_4 Nanosheets and Improved Supercapacitive Behavior of Co_3O_4/rGO/NF Architecture显示文摘In this study, the effect of reduced graphene oxide(rGO) on interconnected Co_3O_4 nanosheets and the improved supercapacitive behaviors is reported. By optimizing the experimental parameters, we achieved a specific capacitance of ~1016.4 F g^(-1) for the Co_3O_4/rGO/NF(nickel foam) system at a current density of 1 A g^(-1). However, the Co_3O_4/NF structure without rGO only delivers a specific capacitance of ~520.0 F g^(-1)at the same current density. The stability test demonstrates that Co_3O_4/rGO/NF retains ~95.5% of the initial capacitance value even after 3000 charge–discharge cycles at a high current density of 7 A g^(-1). | 13 | Influence of aortic branch arteries on the hemodynamics of patient-specific type B aortic dissection following TEVAR显示文摘Objective:Because of the difficulty in obtaining patient specific flow data,branch arteries are often neglected in the flow simulations of a patient-specific type B aortic dissection(AD)following thoracic endovascular repair(TEVAR).This study aims to investigate the influence of the aortic branch arteries on the hemodynamics and physical flow phenomena commonly associated with aortic modeling of an AD after TEVAR.Methods:The three-dimensional geometry of a type B AD following TEVAR was generated from a high-quality CT dataset.Simulations were performed with all branch arteries,without the four visceral arteries of the abdominal aorta(FVAoAA),and without the upper three branches of the aortic arch(UTBoAA).Results:The removal of the UTBoAA has marginal effect on the flow patterns and hemodynamic parameters in the false lumen(FL);however,regardless of whether there are aorta branches supplied to the FL or not,the omission of FVAoAA will result in a wrong prediction of the flow direction at tears and flow volume to the FL.Conclusions:The omission of aorta branch arteries has great impact on the hemodynamic prediction including flow field and wall shear stress related parameters in a type B AD after TEVAR,which may induce misleading estimates of the potential thrombus in the FL.It is strongly recommended to keep aorta branches in the computational model to predict the post-operative hemodynamic performance in a type B AD following TEVAR. | Yi Jiang Yue Qiu Da Li Ding Yuan Tinghui Zheng Liqing Peng | 2019 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2019,,4: | 1 |
| 14 | Responses of Soil Bacterial Diversity to Fertilization are Driven by Local Environmental Context Across China显示文摘Soil microbial diversity is extremely vulnerable to fertilization,which is one of the main anthropogenic activities associated with global changes.Yet we know little about how and why soil microbial diversity responds to fertilization across contrasting local ecological contexts.This knowledge is fundamental for predicting changes in soil microbial diversity in response to ongoing global changes.We analyzed soils from ten 20-year field fertilization(organic and/or inorganic)experiments across China and found that the national-scale responses of soil bacterial diversity to fertilization are dependent on ecological context.In acidic soils from regions with high precipitation and soil fertility,inorganic fertilization can result in further acidification,resulting in negative impacts on soil bacterial diversity.In comparison,organic fer-tilization causes a smaller disturbance to soil bacterial diversity.Despite the overall role of environmental contexts in driving soil microbial diversity,a small group of bacterial taxa were found to respond to fer-tilization in a consistent way across contrasting regions throughout China.Taxa such as Nitrosospira and Nitrososphaera,which benefit from nitrogen fertilizer addition,as well as Chitinophagaceae,Bacilli,and phototrophic bacteria,which respond positively to organic fertilization,could be used as bioindicators for soil fertility in response to fertilization at the national scale.Overall,our work provides new insights into the importance of local environmental context in determining the responses of soil microbial diver-sity to fertilization,and identifies regions with acidic soils wherein soil microbial diversity is more vul-nerable to fertilization at the national scale. | Youzhi Feng Manuel Delgado-Baquerizo Yongguan Zhu Xiaozeng Han Xiaori Han Xiuli Xin Wei Li Zhibing Guo Tinghui Dang Chenhua Li Bo Zhu Zejiang Cai Daming Li Jiabao Zhang | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,5: | 1 |

| 18 | Classification of Oxfordshire community stroke project assisted by transcranial Doppler ultrasound examination for treating acute cerebral infarction显示文摘BACKGROUND: The early correct diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) is very important for choosing therapeutic regimen. The classification of Oxfordshire community stroke project (OCSP) provides guide for easy and rapid diagnosis and choosing therapeutic regimen in clinical practice. But current operation is not satisfied. Only depending on clinical symptoms and body signs do objective evidences lack. Transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) examination may provide hemodynamical evidences for the correct classification of OCSP to some extent. OBJECTIVE: To compare the results of OCSP classification and TCD examination for treating ACI in patients, and analyze the relationship between them as well as the effect of TCD on the correct classification of OCSP. DESIGN: Controlled observation. SETTING: Department of Internal Medicine, Shenzhen Hospital of Prevention and Treatment for Occupational Disease. PARTICIPANTS: Thirty-eight inpatients with ACI including 21 males and 17 females, aged 50 to 81 years, who received treatment in the Department of Internal Medicine, Shenzhen Hospital of Prevention and Treatment for Occupational Disease within 24 hours after onset from October 2002 to October 2005 were involved. The involved inpatients all confirmed to the diagnostic criteria of ACI formulated in the 4th National Cerebrovascular Diseases Conference. All the cases received skull computer tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations at 24 hours after onset. Those patients who had no obvious infarct focus in skull CT examination within 24 hours after onset were performed re-examination to verify ACI within 72 hours after onset. Informed consents of examination method were obtained from all the patients. METHODS: According to the classification of OCSP, the patients were assigned into 4 subtypes: lacunar infarction (LACI), total anterior circulation infarction (TACI), part anterior circulation infarction (PACI) and posterior circulation infarction (POCI). The mean velocity of blood flow of bilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA), anterior cerebral artery (ACA), posterior cerebral artery (PCA), vertebral artery (VA) and basal artery (BA) were routinely detected through temporal window and occipital window respectively by using 2 MHz detecting head of transcranial Doppler (BMS-9000, USA) at 24 hours after onset. The rate of abnormal velocity of blood flow in each vessel of each type was calculated. The normal velocity of blood flow diagnosed by TCD was 45-75 cm/s in MCA,40-65 cm/s in ACA,30-50 cm/s in PCA,25-45 cm/s in BA and 20-35 cm/s in VA. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: TCD examination results of different OSCP classification in patients. RESULTS: In the group of TACI, the signal of blood flow could not be detected in 3 vessels of MCA and 1 vessel of ACA. The sequence of percentage of abnormality of the mean velocity of blood flow was MCA (100%),ACA (85.7%),PCA (71.4%),VA (62.5%)and BA (57.5%). In the group of PACI, the signal of blood flow could not be detected in 3 vessels of ACA, and sequence of percentage of abnormality of the mean velocity of blood flow was MCA (90.9%), ACA (72.7%), BA (53.8%), VA (46.1%) and PCA (45.5%). In the group of POCI, the signal of blood flow could not be detected in 2 vessels of VA and 1 vessel of BA, and the sequence of percentage of abnormality of the mean velocity of blood flow was PCA and BA (100%), VA (80%), MCA (75%) and ACA(62.5%). In the group of LACI, the signal of blood flow could be detected in all the vessels , and the sequence of percentage of abnormality of the mean velocity of blood flow was MCA (63.6%), ACA (54.5%), BA(50%), VA (33.3%) and PCA (31.8%).
