| 2 | The genesis of tectono-magmatism in eastern China显示文摘The tectono-magmatism in eastern China is a hotspot for the researches, and many hypotheses of that were discussed. There is a middle crust with solid, low velocity and high conductivity in eastern China, which is impossible to form'convection magmatic layer'. The subduction and compression of oceanic plate induced to the lateral pressure for the eastern China lithosphere in the condition of increasing pressure and decreasing temperature, it is also impossible to form an extensively melting magma layer. In South China, the granitic zone migrates from west to east, their evolution cannot be explained by plate subduction. The original magmatic reservoirs are controlled by main faults and spheres, which occurred the tectonic detachment and formed in the process of decreasing pressure and increasing temperature. The magma only originates in very small part of lithosphere. The tectono-magmatism and tectonic detachment of eastern China lithosphere during the Jurassic and the Cretaceous are concentrate mainly near the intersections between the regional faults and middle crust or the Moho discontinuity, and then magma intrudes or erupts along faults. The tectono-magmatism of Cenozoic originates near the intersections between the regional high-angle normal faults and the bottom of lithosphere. | 3 | Early prediction of pathological outcomes to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients using automated breast ultrasound显示文摘Objective: Early assessment of response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC) for breast cancer allows therapy to be individualized.The optimal assessment method has not been established.We investigated the accuracy of automated breast ultrasound(ABUS) to predict pathological outcomes after NAC.Methods: A total of 290 breast cancer patients were eligible for this study.Tumor response after 2 cycles of chemotherapy was assessed using the product change of two largest perpendicular diameters(PC) or the longest diameter change(LDC).PC and LDC were analyzed on the axial and the coronal planes respectively.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were used to evaluate overall performance of the prediction methods.Youden's indexes were calculated to select the optimal cut-off value for each method.Sensitivity, specificity,positive and negative predictive values(PPV and NPV) and the area under the ROC curve(AUC) were calculated accordingly.Results: yp T0/is was achieved in 42 patients(14.5%) while yp T0 was achieved in 30 patients(10.3%) after NAC.All four prediction methods(PC on axial planes, LDC on axial planes, PC on coronal planes and LDC on coronal planes) displayed high AUCs(all>0.82), with the highest of 0.89 [95% confidence interval(95% CI), 0.83–0.95]when mid-treatment ABUS was used to predict final pathological complete remission(p CR).High sensitivities(85.7%–88.1%) were observed across all four prediction methods while high specificities(81.5%–85.1%) were observed in two methods used PC.The optimal cut-off values defined by our data replicate the WHO and the RECIST criteria.Lower AUCs were observed when mid-treatment ABUS was used to predict poor pathological outcomes.Conclusions: ABUS is a useful tool in early evaluation of p CR after NAC while less reliable when predicting poor pathological outcomes. | Xinguang Wang Ling Huo Yingjian He Zhaoqing Fan Tianfeng Wang Yuntao Xie Jinfeng Li Tao Ouyang | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,5: | 11 |
| 4 | Paleozoic Tectono-Metallogeny in the Tianshan-Altay Region,Central Asia显示文摘The research on Paleozoic tectonics and endogenic metallogeny in the Tianshan-Altay region of Central Asia is an important and significant project. The Altay region, as a collision zone of the Early Paleozoic(500–397 Ma), and the Tianshan region, as a collision zone of the early period in the Late Paleozoic(Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous, 385–323 Ma), are all the result of nearly N-S trending shortening and collision(according to recent magnetic orientation). In the Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous period(385–323 Ma), regional NW trending faults displayed features of dextral strike-slip motion in the Altay and Junggar regions. In the Tianshan region, nearly EW-trending regional faults are motions of the thrusts. However, in the Late Carboniferous-Early Permian period(323–260 Ma), influenced by the long-distance effect induced from the Ural collision zone, those areas suffered weaker eastward compression, the existing NW trending faults converted into sinistral strike-slip in the Altay and Junggar regions, and the existing nearly E-W trending faults transferred into dextral strike-slip faults in the Tianshan region. The Rocks of those regions in the Late Carboniferous-Early Permian period(323–260 Ma) were moderately ruptured to a certain tension-shear, and thus formed a number of world famous giant endogenic metal ore deposits in the Tianshan-Altay region. As to the Central Asian continent, the most powerful collision period may not coincide with the most favorable endogenic metallogenic period. | 6 | Ultraflat, broadband, and highly coherent supercontinuum generation in all-solid microstructured optical fibers with all-normal dispersion显示文摘High flatness, wide bandwidth, and high-coherence properties of supercontinuum(SC) generation in fibers are crucial in many applications. It is challenging to achieve SC spectra in a combination of the properties, since special dispersion profiles are required, especially when pump pulses with duration over 100 fs are employed. We propose an all-solid microstructured fiber composed only of hexagonal glass elements. The optimized fiber possesses an ultraflat all-normal dispersion profile, covering a wide wavelength interval of approximately 1.55 μm. An SC spectrum spanning from approximately 1030 to 2030 nm(corresponding to nearly one octave) with flatness<3 dB is numerically generated in the fiber with 200 fs pump pulses at 1.55 μm. The results indicate that the broadband ultraflat SC sources can be all-fiber and miniaturized due to commercially achievable 200-fs fiber lasers. Moreover, the SC pulses feature high coherence and a single pulse in the time domain, which can be compressed to 13.9-fs pulses with high quality even for simple linear chirp compensation. | 7 | Purification of Crude Glycerol from Waste Cooking Oil Based Biodiesel Production by Orthogonal Test Method显示文摘Purification of original crude glycerol obtained from biodiesel production was conducted in a laboratory scale equipment by means of a combined chemical and physical treatment method based upon repeated cycles of acidification of liquid phase to the desired pH value by using 5.85% H3PO4 solution for pH value adjustment, and the mixture was kept at 70℃ for 60min to make phase separation for obtaining a glycerol-rich middle phase. The yield of crude glycerol reached 81.2%. Subsequently, upon reaction of the obtained glycerol phase with 0.03% of sodium oxalate at 80℃ for 30min the impurity removal rate was equal to 19.8%. | 12 | Mesozoic-Cenozoic Tectonics of the Yellow Sea and Oil-Gas Exploration显示文摘The purpose of the present study was to study the tectonics of the Yellow Sea. Although oil- gas exploration has been undertaken for more than 30 years in the southern Yellow Sea, the exploration progress has achieved little. There are three tectonic periods with near N–S trending shortening and compression (260–200 Ma, 135–52 Ma and 23–0.78 Ma) and three tectonic periods with near E–W trending shortening and compression (200–135 Ma, 52–23 Ma and 0.78 Ma) at the Yellow Sea and adjacent areas during the Mesozoic and Cenozoic. The Indosinian tectonic period is the collision period between the Sino-Korean and Yangtze Plates, which formed the basic tectonic framework for the Yellow Sea area. There were strong intraplate deformations during the Yanshanian (200–135 Ma) and Sichuanian (135–52 Ma) periods with different tectonic models, which are also the main formation periods for endogenic metallic mineral deposits around the Yellow Sea. The three tectonic periods during the Cenozoic affect important influences for forming oil-gas reservoirs. The Eocene–Oligocene (52–23 Ma) is the main forming period for oil-gas sources. The Miocene–Early Pleistocene (23–0.78 Ma) was a period of favorable passage for oil-gas migration along NNE trending faults. Since the Middle Pleistocene (0.78 Ma) the NNE trending faults are closed and make good conditions for the reservation of oil-gas. | 13 | Lateral buckling of non-trenched high temperature pipelines with pipelay imperfections显示文摘An analysis method for the buckling process of a pipe section with a random pipelay imperfection is proposed. Four basic lateral modes,acquired by fi nite-element(FE) eigenvalue buckling analysis,are combined to provide the needed grid conf igurations for describing a real pipelay imperfection and an arc-length algorithm is used to analyze the snap-through process of the shell-element-grid model under nonlinear frictional boundary conditions. This paper also presents evaluation methods for the lateral buckling of two types of pipe-in-pipe systems that are used in the offshore oil and gas industry. For evaluating the buckling and postbuckling of compliant pipe-in-pipe systems FE analyses were carried out to judge the occurrence of the system buckling and furthermore to check postbuckling stresses induced in the buckles. The calculated results of the modifi ed Riks algorithm indicate that only when high temperature would not trigger an abrupt short-wavelength buckle and when no yielding has been induced in the unavoidable long-wavelength buckles,the thermal stability and safety of compliant pipe-in-pipe systems can be proved. In the non-compliant pipe-in-pipe systems,fi rstly small-amplitude buckles of the carrier pipe may occur in the annulus between carrier pipe and casing pipe and the contact forces between the spacers and the casing pipe may drive the buckle of the pipe-in-pipe systems on the seabed. | 14 | Breast-conserving therapy and modified radical mastectomy for primary breast carcinoma:a matched comparative study显示文摘Background:To compare two types of therapy for primary breast carcinoma,breast-conserving therapy(BCT) and modified radical mastectomy(MRM),in a matched cohort study.Methods:A series of 1,746 patients with primary breast cancer treated with BCT or MRM in a single Chinese institute between January 2000 and February 2009 were analyzed retrospectively to compare their outcomes with respect to the incidence of local recurrence(LR),distant metastasis,and survival.The patients were matched with regard to age at diagnosis,spreading to axillary lymph nodes,hormone receptor status,the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and maximal tumor diameter.The match ratio was 1:1,and each arm included 873 patients.Results:The median follow-up period was 71 months.The 6-year disease-free survival(DFS) and 6-year distant disease-free survival(DDFS) rates differed significantly between two groups.The 6-year local recurrence-free survival(LRFS) rates were 98.2% [95% confidence interval(CI):0.973-0.989] in the BCT group and 98.7%(95% CI:0.980-0.994) in the MRM group(P=0.182),respectively.DFS rates in BCT and MRM groups were 91.3%(95% CI:0.894-0.932) and 86.3%(95% CI:0.840-0.886)(P<0.001),respectively,whereas the DDFS rates in BCT and MRM groups were 93.6%(95% CI:0.922-0.950) and 87.7%(95% CI:0.854-0.900)(P<0.001),respectively.Conclusions:BCT in eligible patients is as effective as MRM with respect to local tumor control,DFS and DDFS,and may result in a better outcome than MRM in Chinese primary breast cancer patients. | Lize Wang Tao Ouyang Tianfeng Wang Yuntao Xie Zhaoqing Fan Benyao Lin Jinfeng Li | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,6: | 3 |
| 15 | Association between HER2 status and response to neoadjuvant anthracycline followed by paclitaxel plus carboplatin chemotherapy without trastuzumab in breast cancer显示文摘Background:We recently showed HER2-positive breast cancers are less likely to respond to neoadjuvant anthracycline chemotherapy.Here,we investigated whether HER2-positive breast cancers responded to sequential neoadjuvant anthracycline followed by paclitaxel plus carboplatin regimen in the absence of trastuzumab.Methods:Women(n=372) with operable primary breast cancer initially received two cycles of neoadjuvant anthracyclines,the clinical tumor response was assessed,then patients were received four cycles of paclitaxel plus carboplatin regimen.All the patients did not received trastuzumab treatment in the neoadjuvant setting.HER2 status was determined by immunohistochemistry and/or by fluorescence in situ hybridization in corebiopsy breast cancer tissue obtained before the neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Results:Eighteen percent(67/372) of patients achieved a pathologic complete response(p CR) in their breast.HER2-positive tumors had a significant higher p CR rate than HER2-negative tumors(33.0% versus 13.5%,P<0.001) in this cohort of 372 patients,and positive HER2 status remained an independent favorable predictor of p CR in a multivariate analysis [odds ratio(OR),2.26;95% confidence interval(CI),1.18 to 4.36,P=0.015].Furthermore,patients who responded to initial anthracycline regimens were more likely to respond to paclitaxel plus carboplatin than patients who did not(p CR,27.2% versus 14.6%,P=0.005).Patients with HER2-positive tumors exhibited a significant higher p CR rate than did patients with HER2-negative tumors in both anthracycline response group(40.5% versus 20.0%,P=0.025) and anthracycline non-response group(28.3% versus 11.3%,P=0.002).Conclusions:Under the circumstance of no trastuzumab treatment,women with HER2-positive cancers derive a large benefit from paclitaxel-carboplatin-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy. | Lu Yao Juan Zhang Yiqiang Liu Tao Ouyang Jinfeng Li Tianfeng Wang Zhaoqing Fan Tie Fan Benyao Lin Yuntao Xie | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,6: | 3 |

The perovskite materials with ID and 2D shapes were widely prepared and studied for Fabry-Perot mode and whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microcavities, but cuboid-shape is rarely reported. In this work, we successfully fabricated single crystal cuboid-shaped MAPbBr3 perovskite w让h different morphologies, named microcuboid-MAPbBr3 (M-MAPbBr3) and multi-step-MAPbBr3 (MSMAPbBr3), via solvothermal method. Furthermore, the as-prepared *crystals excitonic recombination lifetime under different pumping energy density was studied by time-resolved photoiuminescence (TRPL).
