1Arab/c/opste N^(6)-methyladenosine reader CPSF30-L recognizes FUE signals to control polyadenylation site choice in liquid-like nuclear bodies显示文摘The biological functions of the epitranscriptomic modification N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)in plants are not fully understood.CPSF30-L is a predominant isoform of the polyadenylation factor CPSF30 and consists of CPSF30-S and an m^(6)A-binding YTH domain.Little is known about the biological roles of CPSF30-L and the molecular mechanism underlying its m^(6)A-binding function in alternative polyadenylation.Here,we charac-terized CPSF30-L as an Arabidopsis m^(6)A reader whose m^(6)A-binding function is required for the floral tran-sition and abscisic acid(ABA)response.We found that the m^(6)A-binding activity of CPSF30-L enhances the formation of liquid-like nuclear bodies,where CPSF30-L mainly recognizes m*A-modified far-upstream elements to control polyadenylation site choice.Deficiency of CPSF30-L lengthens the 3'untranslated region of three phenotypes-related transcripts,thereby accelerating their mRNA degradation and leading to late flowering and ABA hypersensitivity.Collectively,this study uncovers a new molecular mechanism for m^(6)A-driven phase separation and polyadenylation in plants.Peizhe Song Junbo Yang Chunling Wang Qiang Lu Linqing Shi Subiding Tayier Guifang Jia 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,4:12

6Laparoscopic treatment of pyogenic liver abscess caused by fishbone puncture through the stomach wall and into the liver:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Pyogenic liver abscess(PLA)due to foreign body penetration of the gastrointestinal tract is rare but can lead to serious consequences if not diagnosed and managed properly.We report a case of PLA caused by a fishbone puncture.CASE SUMMARY This report describes the clinical features,diagnosis and treatment of a 56-yearold male patient who presented with severe pneumonia,acute respiratory failure and septic shock.The main clinical manifestation was a nonspecific recurrent infection.Based on the findings of abdominal computed tomography examination and the detailed medical history,the diagnosis was made as PLA which was caused by fishbone puncture through the stomach wall and into the liver.After active anti-inflammatory treatment,the patient’s general condition had improved.The laparoscopic drainage of the liver abscess and the foreign body removal was performed.There was no recurrence of abscess at discharge or during follow-up and the patient’s general condition was satisfactory.CONCLUSION PLA caused by foreign bodies usually requires surgical treatment or percutaneous drainage combined with antibiotics.Our case confirms that a laparoscopic approach is safe and feasible for such cases.Abudureyimu Kadi Talaiti Tuergan Yierpan Abulaiti Paizula Shalayiadang Baihetiyaer Tayier Abududuaini Abulizi Muniremu Tuohuti Ayifuhan Ahan 2022World Journal of Clinical Cases2022,10,36:0
7Analysis on Hydrological Regimes of the Medium and Small Rivers in Hami of Xinjiang——Take Toudaogou Basin as an Example显示文摘[Objective]The research aimed to analyze hydrological regimes of the medium and small rivers in Hami of Xinjiang. [Method]According to actual observation data at Toudaogou hydrological station during 1956-2010,climate,runoff,flood,sediment and water quality in the basin were analyzed. [Result]Runoff in Toudaogou River was mainly from bedrock fissure water and rainfall,and depended on temperature and precipitation in the catchment zone. Runoff in Toudaogou River had very big change during the year. Runoff in whole year mainly concentrated during April- June,which occupied 57. 9% of annual runoff. Flood in Toudaogou basin was divided into spring and summer flood from time,and snowmelt and rainstorm flood from type. Sediment load was related to terrain,gradient,runoff,precipitation,flood and process. Suspended sediment load at Toudaogou hydrological station had close relationship with the annual maximum flow capacity of flood peak,and related coefficient was 0. 917. [Conclusion]Hydrological regime in Toudaogou basin basically represented corresponding hydrological information of rivers without glacier water supply in Hami even whole western arid zone of China. 8Comparative Study on Microstructures of Zincalume Steel(G550)Welded Joint Between Metal Inert Gas and Laser Beam Welding显示文摘Zincalume steel(G550)is commonly used in various construction fields because of its high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.In recent years,a number of steel companies have massively produced zincalume steel(G550)with large volumes of waste.For the reduction of massive industrial wastes,the zincalume steel(G550)was welded in the lap joint configuration using different welding parameters in the metal inert gas(MIG)welding and laser beam welding(LBW)process in this study.The MIG welding and LBW are more welcomed welding methods due to their high efficiency and low cost.However,they are different as the LBW offers welding speed three to five times faster than MIG welding,while LBW’s heat transfer to workpieces is much less than MIG welding,which can avoid some distortions.The microstructure of zincalume steel(G550)was investigated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and the microstructure characterizations of welded specimens were analyzed.The experiment found the columnar dendrites extended under the heat flow direction during the MIG welding and LBW process.Thus,the columnar grains were formed in between the equiaxed zone and fusion zone(FZ)at high heat input and slow cooling rate.Moreover,the grain size of FZ was comparatively smaller than heat affected zone(HAZ)and base metal(BM).Walisijiang Tayier Shamini Janasekaran Syed Menhazul Bari 2021Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series)2021,28,5:0
9Primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection is clinically rare.The reported cases of pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection are considered to be secondary to cystic echinococcosis in other organs.Single Echinococcus granulosus infection is very rare.CASE SUMMARY In this report,we presented a case of primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.We described the key diagnostic points and surgical treatment of this case.We also summarized the epidemiological characteristics and pathogenesis of the disease.CONCLUSION Our case may provide clinical data for the diagnosis and treatment of primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection.Yierpan Abulaiti Abudureyimu Kadi Baihetiyaer Tayier Talaiti Tuergan Paizula Shalayiadang Abuduaini Abulizi Ayifuhan Ahan 2023World Journal of Clinical Cases2023,11,17:0
