| 1 | Resection of retrohepatic inferior vena cava without reconstruction for hepatic alveolar echinococcosis显示文摘To the Editor:Echinococcus multilocularis(E.multilocular is)which can cause alveolar echinococcosis(AE),mainly involve the liver.[1]AE diagnosis mainly depends on epidemiological evidence, clinical presentation, serology test results, and radiological examinations.,2]Surgery is a main treatment method.[3]We describe a case with complicated AE who underwent resection of retrohepatic inferior vena cava(RHIVC)without reconstruction. The study was approved by the ethics review board of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. | Bo Ran Ying-Mei Shao Tie-Ming Jiang Rui-Qing Zhang Qiang Guo Abuduaini Abulizi Yusfu Yimiti Hao Wen Tuerganaili Aji | 2019 | Chinese Medical Journal2019,,13: | 2 |
| 2 | Multiple recurrent cystic echinococcosis with abdominal aortic involvement: A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Recurrent cystic echinococcosis(CE)with vital organ involvement is a challenge for clinicians.Herein,we report a case of aortic involvement in recurrent retroperitoneal CE lesions following primary splenic CE resection.CASE SUMMARY A 60-year-old male was admitted due to progressive abdominal pain and poor appetite. He was diagnosed with multiple recurrent CE with abdominal aortic involvement according to preoperative evaluation.During surgical resection, major aortic bleeding accidentally occurred while dissecting the cyst, which was firmly attached to the abdominal aortic wall.Hemostasis attempts were conducted to deal with this emergency situation and maintain circulation.Postinterventional recovery was uneventful, and 2-year follow-up showed no sign of recurrence or any other complications.CONCLUSION Radical resection of recurrent complicated CE with aortic involvement should be carefully planned and performed to prevent possible severe adverse complications, thereby improving the postoperative outcome. | Nijiati Taxifulati Xue-An Yang Xin-Feng Zhang Abudusalamu Aini Abuduaini Abulizi Xin Ma Adilai Abulati Fei Wang Ke Xu Tuerganaili Aji Ying-Mei Shao Ayifuhan Ahan | 2020 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2020,8,14: | 0 |
| 3 | Spatiotemporal changes and influencing factors of the intensity of agricultural water footprint in Xinjiang, China显示文摘Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the largest agricultural high-efficiency water-saving arid area in China, was adopted to explore the coupling relationship between agricultural water consumption and economic benefits, which is of great significance to guiding the efficient utilization and sustainable development of agricultural water resources. This study utilizes an indicator, termed the Agricultural Water Footprint Intensity(short as AWFI,which means the amount of water resource consumed per unit of agricultural GDP),to study the economic benefits of agricultural water in Xinjiang from 1991-2018.In addition, the Theil index,a measure of the imbalance between individuals or regions, was used to study the evolution in the spatial differences in water efficiency, and the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index(LMDI)method was applied to quantify the factors driving the AWFI.The results showed that AWFI in Xinjiang has experienced three stages:obvious decline, stable and slow decline, which decreased from 16114 m^(3)/10^(4) CNY to 2100 m^(3)/10^(4) CNY,decreasing by 86.97%.The Theil index indicated that the spatial evolution of 14 prefectures(cities)resembled an inverted N-shaped Kuznets curve over time.Among the influencing factors, the contributions of water-saving technology and planting structure to the change in the AWFI in Xinjiang,China from 1991 to 2018 were 154.03%and−37.98%,respectively.The total contribution to AWFI of the total population, urbanization rate, and production scale was−16.06%.This study concluded that further improvements in the economic benefits of agricultural water consumption can be obtained by continuing to promote more efficient or“water-conservation”irrigation technologies(engineering aspects),adjusting the planting structure(policy guidance aspects),and intensive management of cultivated land(management aspects). | Yanyun Wang Aihua Long Xiaoya Deng Abuduaini Abulizi Jie Wang Pei Zhang Yang Hai Cai Ren Ji Zhang Yundong Liu Weiming Zhao | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,3: | 0 |
| 4 | Primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection is clinically rare. The reported cases of pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection are considered to be secondary to cystic echinococcosis in other organs.Single Echinococcus granulosus infection is very rare.CASE SUMMARY In this report,we presented a case of primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. We described the key diagnostic points and surgical treatment of this case.We also summarized the epidemiological characteristics and pathogenesis of the disease.CONCLUSION Our case may provide clinical data for the diagnosis and treatment of primary pelvic Echinococcus granulosus infection. | Yierpan Abulaiti Abudureyimu Kadi Baihetiyaer Tayier Talaiti Tuergan Paizula Shalayiadang Abuduaini Abulizi Ayifuhan Ahan | 2023 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2023,11,17: | 0 |
