1A synchronous nucleation and passivation strategy for controllable synthesis of Au36(PA)24: unveiling the formation process and the role of Au22(PA)18 intermediate显示文摘Despite the recent progress on controllable synthesis of alkynyl-protected Au nanoclusters,the effective synthetic means are very limited and the cluster formation process still remains puzzling.Here,we develop a novel synchronous nucleation and passivation strategy to fabricate Au36(PA)24(PA=phenylacetylenyl) nanoclusters with high yield.In Au36(PA)24formation process,Au22(PA)18as key intermediate was identified.Meanwhile,Au22(PA)18can be synthesized under a low amount of reductant,and by employing more reductants,Au22(PA)18can turn into Au36(PA)24eventually.Moreover,the structure evolution from Au22(PA)18to Au36(PA)24is proposed,where four Au13cuboctahedra can yield one Au28kernel.Finally,the ratiocination is verified by the good accordance between the predicted intermediate/product ratio and the experimental value.This study not only offers a novel synthetic strategy,but also sheds light on understanding the structural evolution process of alkynyl-protected Au nanoclusters at atomic level.Xiaoshuang Ma Guanyu Ma Lubing Qin Guangxu Chen Shaowei Chen Zhenghua Tang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,12:4

4Carrier recombination suppression and transport enhancement enable high-performance self-powered broadband Sb_(2)Se_(3) photodetectors显示文摘Antimony selenide(Sb_(2)Se_(3))is a promising candidate for photodetector applications boasting unique material benefits and remarkable optoelectronic properties.Achieving high-performance self-powered Sb_(2)Se_(3)photodetector through a synergistic regulation of absorber layer and heterojunction interface demonstrates great potential and needs essential investigation.In this study,an effective two-step thermodynamic/kinetic deposition technique containing sputtered and selenized Sb precursor is implemented to induce self-assembled growth of Sb_(2)Se_(3)light absorbing thin film with large crystal grains and desirable[hk1]orientation,presenting considerable thin-film photodetector performance.Furthermore,aluminum(Al^(3+))cation dopant is introduced to modify the optoelectronic properties of CdS buffer layer,and further optimize the Sb_(2)Se_(3)/CdS(Al)heterojunction interface quality.Thanks to the suppressed carrier recombination and enhanced carrier transport kinetics,the champion Mo/Sb_(2)Se_(3)/CdS(Al)/ITO/Ag photodetector exhibits self-powered and broadband characteristics,accompanied by simultaneously high responsivity of 0.9 A W^(-1)(at 11 nW cm^(-2)),linear dynamic range of 120 dB,impressive ON/OFF switching ratio over 10^(6)and signal-to-noise ratio of 10^(9),record total noise determined realistic detectivity of 4.78×10^(12)Jones,and ultra-fast response speed with rise/decay time of 24/75 ns,representing the top level for Sb_(2)Se_(3)-based photodetectors.This intriguing work opens up an avenue for its selfpowered broadband photodetector applications.Shuo Chen Yi Fu Muhammad Ishaq Chuanhao Li Donglou Ren Zhenghua Su Xvsheng Qiao Ping Fan Guangxing Liang Jiang Tang 2023InfoMat2023,5,4:1

7Fenton cleaning strategy for ceramic membrane fouling in wastewater treatment显示文摘Membrane fouling is an obstacle impeding the wide applications of ceramic membranes and organics are responsible for most of the membrane fouling issues in wastewater treatment.In this study,Fenton cleaning strategy was firstly proposed to clean ceramic membrane fouling in wastewater treatment.Fe2+ efficiently catalyzed fouling cleaning with H2O2 (1.5%) to recover the filterability of ceramic membrane.The maximum ΔTMP recovery (over 99%) was achieved at an optimal Fe2+ dosage of 124 mg/L after 6 hr of immersion cleaning.The total residual membrane fouling resistance decreased gradually from this optimum value as the Fe2+ dosage increased above 124 mg/L.The residual hydraulically reversible fouling resistance accounted for most of the membrane fouling and was basically removed (≤3.0 × 109 m-1) when Fe2+ dosages higher than 124 mg/L were used.The foulants responsible for the formation of a residual hydraulically reversible fouling layer (DOC (dissolved organic carbon),proteins,polysaccharides,EEM (fluorescence excitationemission matrix spectra),SS (suspended solids),and VSS (volatile suspended solids)) were gradually removed as the Fe2+ dosage increased.These residual organic foulants were degraded from biopolymers (10-200 kDa) to low molecular weight substances (0.1-1 kDa),and the particle size of these residual foulants decreased significantly as a result.The strong oxidation power of hydrogen peroxide/hydroxy radicals towards organic foulants was enhanced by Fe2+.Fe2+ played a significant role in the removal of hydraulically reversible fouling and irreversible fouling from the ceramic membrane.However,Fe2+(≥124 mg/L) increased the likelihood of forming secondary iron-organics aggregates.Shengyin Tang Lixun Zhang Yi Peng Jing Liu Zhenghua Zhang 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,11:1

10Multiplex detection of KRAS and BRAF mutations using cationic conjugated polymers显示文摘The mutation detections of KRAS and BRAF genes are of significant importance to predict the responses to anti-cancer therapy and develop new drugs. In this paper, we developed a multi-step fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) assay for multiplex detection of KRAS and BRAF mutations using cationic conjugated polymers (CCP). The newly established detection system could detect as low as 2% mutant DNAs in DNA admixtures. By triggering the emission intensity change of CCP and the dyes labeled in the DNA, four possible statuses (three mutations and one wildtype) can be differentiated in one extension reaction. The detection efficiency of this new method in clinical molecular diagnosis was validated by determining KRAS and BRAF mutations of 51 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) ovary tissue samples. Furthermore, the result of the CCP-based multi-step FRET assay can be directly visualized under UV light so that no expensive instruments and technical expertise are needed. 20Homoleptic alkynyl-protected Ag_(32 )nanocluster with atomic precision: Probing the ligand effect toward CO_(2) electroreduction and 4-nitrophenol reduction显示文摘We report a superatomic homoleptic alkynyl-protected Ag_(32)L_(24)(L=3,5-bis(trifluoromethylbenzene)acetylide,Ag_(32) for short)nanocluster with atomic precision,which possesses eight free electrons.Ag_(32) is formed by an Ag17 core with C3 symmetry and the remaining 15 Ag atoms bond to each other and coordinate with the 24 surface ligands.When applied as electrocatalyst for CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),Ag_(32) exhibited the highest Faradaic efficiency(FE)of CO up to 96.44%at−0.8 V with hydrogen evolution being significantly suppressed in a wide potential range,meanwhile it has a reaction rate constant of 0.242 min−1 at room temperature and an activation energy of 45.21 kJ·mol−1 in catalyzing the reduction of 4-nitrophenol,both markedly superior than the thiolate and phosphine ligand co-protected Ag_(32) nanocluster.Such strong ligand effect was further understood by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,as it revealed that,one single ligand stripping off from the intact cluster can create the undercoordinated Ag atom as the catalytically active site for both clusters,but alkynyl-protected Ag_(32) nanocluster possesses a smaller energy barrier for forming the key*COOH intermediate in CO_(2)RR,and favors the adsorption of 4-nitrophenol.This study not only discovers a new member of homoleptic alkynyl-protected Ag nanocluster,but also highlights the great potentials of employing alkynyl-protected Ag nanoclusters as bifunctional catalysts toward various reactions.Leyi Chen Fang Sun Quanli Shen Lubing Qin Yonggang Liu Liang Qiao Qing Tang Likai Wang Zhenghua Tang 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
