2Adrenal lymphangioma masquerading as a pancreatic tail cyst显示文摘Cystic lymphangiomas of the adrenal gland are rare. A 79-year-old female presented in the emergency room with epigastric discomfort, and an immovable mass was palpated in her abdomen upon physical examination. Imaging studies revealed a large cystic lesion in the pancreatic tail. The radiologic impression ruled out the possibility of a mucinous cystic neoplasm, or a pseudocyst in the pancreas. The operative findings demonstrated that the cystic mass originated in the left adrenal gland. A laparoscopic excision of the cystic mass was performed, and immunohistochemistry confirmed that this mass was a lymphangioma of the adrenal gland. Several prior reports have suggested that lymphangioma can mimic renal or splenic cysts. 12Spatio-temporal change in forest cover and carbon storage considering actual and potential forest cover in South Korea显示文摘This study analyzes change in carbon storage by applying forest growth models and final cutting age to actual and potential forest cover for six major tree species in South Korea. Using National Forest Inventory data, the growth models were developed to estimate mean diameter at breast height, tree height, and number of trees for Pinus densiflora, Pinus koraiensis, Pinus rigida, Larix kaempferi, Castanea crenata and Quercus spp. stands. We assumed that actual forest cover in a forest type map will change into potential forest covers according to the Hydrological and Thermal Analogy Groups model. When actual forest cover reaches the final cutting age, forest volume and carbon storage are estimated by changed forest cover and its growth model. Forest volume between 2010 and 2110 would increase from 126.73 to 157.33 m3 hm-2. Our results also show that forest cover, volume, and carbon storage could abruptly change by 2060. This is attributed to the fact that most forests are presumed to reach final cutting age. 18Carbon Nanotube Coating on Titanium Substrate Modified with TiO_2 Nanotubes显示文摘A combination of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and titanium (Ti) modified with TiO2 nanotubes (TiO2 NTs) was fulfilled with the aim of improving bioactivity of Ti implant.First,well-ordered TiO2 NTs were prepared by the electrochemical anodization of Ti in an ethylene glycol electrolyte containing 1 wt% NH4F and 10 wt% H2O at 20 V for 50 min,followed by annealing.Then,the carboxylated CNTs were coated onto the TiO2 NTs using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique.The growth of hydroxyapatite (HA) on the samples was investigated by soaking them in simulated body fluid (SBF).The result showed the CNTs-coated Ti with the modification of TiO2 NTs (CNTs-TiO2 NTs) was more efficient to induce HA formation than the CNTs-coated smooth Ti (CNTs-Ti).The vitro cell response was evaluated using osteoblast cells (MC3T3-E1).The good cell proliferation and strong cell adhesion could be obtained on the CNTs-TiO2 NTs.These results indicated that CNT coating on the Ti modified with TiO2 NTs could be potentially useful for the periodontal ligament combination on dental implants.白玉 PARK Ilsong BAE Taesung KIM Kyounga WATARI Fumio UO Motohiro LEE Minho 2011Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2011,26,5:0

20Chemically-induced active micro-nano bubbles assisting chemical mechanical polishing:Modeling and experiments显示文摘The material loss caused by bubble collapse during the micro-nano bubbles auxiliary chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)process cannot be ignored.In this study,the material removal mechanism of cavitation in the polishing process was investigated in detail.Based on the mixed lubrication or thin film lubrication,bubble-wafer plastic deformation,spherical indentation theory,Johnson-Cook(J-C)constitutive model,and the assumption of periodic distribution of pad asperities,a new model suitable for micro-nano bubble auxiliary material removal in CMP was developed.The model integrates many parameters,including the reactant concentration,wafer hardness,polishing pad roughness,strain hardening,strain rate,micro-jet radius,and bubble radius.The model reflects the influence of active bubbles on material removal.A new and simple chemical reaction method was used to form a controllable number of micro-nano bubbles during the polishing process to assist in polishing silicon oxide wafers.The experimental results show that micro-nano bubbles can greatly increase the material removal rate(MRR)by about 400%and result in a lower surface roughness of 0.17 nm.The experimental results are consistent with the established model.In the process of verifying the model,a better understanding of the material removal mechanism involved in micro-nano bubbles in CMP was obtained.Lei XU Kihong PARK Hong LEI Pengzhan LIU Eungchul KIM Yeongkwang CHO Taesung KIM Chuandong CHEN 2023Friction2023,11,9:0
