1Petrogenesis of the Neopro-terozoic bimodal volcanic rocks along the western margin of the Yangtze Block:New constraints from Hf isotopes and Fe/Mn ratios显示文摘High-precision major element and Hf isotope data are reported for the Neoproterozoic Suxiong volcanic rocks along the western margin of the Yangtze Block. These volcanic rocks have variable εHf(T) values and Fe/Mn ratios. The relatively primitive basalts have high Fe/Mn ratios and high Hf-Nd isotopic compositions, indicating that they were generated by partial melting of garnet clinopyroxene in mantle plume at high pressure. Thus, the Suxiong basalts are genetically related to the proposed Neoproterozoic super-plume. On the contrary, a few differentiated basalts have low Fe/Mn ratios and low Hf-Nd isotopic compositions. They are likely to experience assimilation-fractional crystallization process. The Suxiong rhyolites have consistent Hf and Nd model ages of 1.3―1.4 Ga. 2Heavy metal pollution in intertidal sediments from Quanzhou Bay, China显示文摘The concentrations of eight heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Ni, Hg, and As) in the intertidal surface sediments from Quanzhou Bay were determined to evaluate their levels and spatial distribution due to urbanization and economic development of Quanzhou region, southeast China. The ranges of the measured concentrations in the sediments are as follows: 24.8–119.7 mg/kg for Cu, 105.5–241.9 mg/kg for Zn, 34.3–100.9 mg/kg for Pb, 0.28–0.89 mg/kg for Cd, 51.1–121.7 mg/kg for Cr, 16.1–45.7 mg/kg for Ni, 0.17–0.74 mg/kg for Hg, and 17.7–30.2 mg/kg for As. The overall average concentrations of above metals exceed the primary standard criteria but meet the secondary standard criteria of the Chinese National Standard of Marine Sediment Quality. Several contents of Cu and Hg exceed the secondary standard criteria at some stations. The results of geoaccumulation index (Igeo) show that Cd causes strong pollution in most of the study area. There are no significant correlations among most of these heavy metals, indicating they have different anthropogenic and natural sources. 3In-situ trace element analyses of zircons from Dabieshan Huangzhen eclogite:Trace element characteristics of eclogite-facies metamorphic zircon显示文摘The internal structures of zircons in eclogite from Huangzhen have been studied by cathodoluminescence (CL) microscopy. Two growth stages were distinguished: protolith magmatic cores and metamorphic overgrowth rims. These different domains were analyzed for trace elements using LAM-ICP-MS. The protolith and the overgrowth zircons have different trace elements characteristics. The trace element contents of protolith zircons are high and very variable. The overgrowth zircons show a typical trace element feature of equilibrium with garnet, e.g. low contents of HREE (132.2-197.6μg/g) and small differential degree of HREE ((Yb/Gd)cN=8.6-11.9). The contents of Nb, Ta and the ratio of Nb/Ta are lower in the metamorphic domains (0.5-1.4μg/g, 0.7-1.5μg/g, 0.3-1.3, respectively) than in the protolith domains (3.8-19.7μg/g, 2.7-12.1μg/g, 1.0-4.6, respectively). 4Platinum-group elements for the mantle peridotites in the Dazhuka ophiolite,Tibet,China显示文摘The total PGE amounts of mantle peridotites in the Dazhuka ophiolite, Tibet, are 28.37-50.67 ng/g, slightly higher than those of mantle peridotites in the primitive mantle, and typical ophiolites in the world, and the Alps-type mantle peridotites. The PGE distribution patterns in the Dazhuka mantle peridotites are also different from those of the mantle peridotites of partial melting relict origin. The Dazhuka mantle peridotites have relatively high total PGE amounts and are enriched in Pt, Pd, and Ru. Their PGE distribution patterns belong to the positively inclined-or swallow-type patterns. The PGE distribution patterns in the mantle peridotites of partial melting relict origin belong to the negative-slope patterns or flat patterns. This reflects the unique features of the upper mantle in this region. 8Combining radiation and the ATR inhibitor berzosertib activates STING signaling and enhances immunotherapy via inhibiting SHP1 function in colorectal cancer显示文摘Background:Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)targeting programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)have shown a moderate response in colorectal cancer(CRC)with deficient mismatch repair(dMMR)functions and poor response in patients with proficientMMR(pMMR).pMMRtumors are generally immunogenically“cold”,emphasizing combination strategies to turn the“cold”tumor“hot”to enhance the efficacy of ICIs.ATR inhibitors(ATRi)have been proven to cooperate with radiation to promote antitumor immunity,but it is unclear whether ATRi could facilitate the efficacy of IR and ICI combinations in CRCs.This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of combining ATRi,irradiation(IR),and anti-PD-L1 antibodies in CRC mouse models with different microsatellite statuses.Methods:The efficacy of combining ATRi,IR,and anti-PD-L1 antibodies was evaluated in CRC tumors.The tumor microenvironment and transcriptome signatures were investigated under different treatment regimens.The mechanisms were explored via cell viability assay,flow cytometry,immunofluorescence,immunoblotting,co-immunoprecipitation,and real-time quantitative PCR in multiple murine and human CRC cell lines.Results:Combining ATRi berzosertib and IR enhanced CD8+T cell infiltration and enhanced the efficacy of anti-PD-L1 therapy in mouse CRC models with different microsatellite statuses.The mechanistic study demonstrated that IR+ATRi could activate both the canonical cGAS-STING-pTBK1/pIRF3 axis by increasing cytosolic double-stranded DNA levels and the non-canonical STING signaling by attenuating SHP1-mediated inhibition of the TRAF6-STINGp65 axis,via promoting SUMOylation of SHP1 at lysine 127.By boosting the STING signaling,IR+ATRi induced type I interferon-related gene expression and strong innate immune activation and reinvigorated the cold tumor microenvironment,thus facilitating immunotherapy.Conclusions:The combination of ATRi and IR could facilitate anti-PD-L1 therapy by promoting STING signaling in CRC models with different microsatellite statuses.The new combination strategy raised by our study isworth investigating in the management of CRC.Chaofan Liu Xi Wang Wan Qin Jingyao Tu Chunya Li Weiheng Zhao Li Ma Bo Liu Hong Qiu Xianglin Yuan 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,4:1

16Identifications of products of geographical origin based on geochemical zoning显示文摘The protection system of products of geographical origin has become one hot subject with which various countries throughout the world are concerned. Results of element-Pb isotope geochemical mapping indicate that there emerge a number of famous-brand high-quality product groups of geographical origin in China. The environment of production of China’s famous-brand white spirits of geographical origin at the Sichuan-Guizhou border is still a mystery to be solved. China has two main communities of white spirits of geographical origin, i.e., the most famous are Moutai and Wuliangye spirits. By element-Pb isotope geochemical tracing, we can establish the natural background geological, geographical and geochemical scientific data mark ers in close relation with source areas.
