1The Uplift of the Longmenshan Thrust Belt and Subsidence of the West Sichuan Foreland Basin显示文摘Based on fission track dating of apatite, and measurement of vitrinite reflectance of rock samples from the Longmenshan (Longmen Mountain)area and the West Sichuan foreland basin and computer modelling it is concluded that (l)the Songpan-Garze fold belt has uplifted at least by 3-4 km with an uplift rate of no less than 0.3-0.4 mm/a since 10 Ma B.P.; (2) the Longmenshan thrust nappe belt has uplifted at least by 5-6 km with an uplift rate of more than 0.5- 0.6 mm /a since 10 Ma B.P.; (3) the Longmenshan detachment belt has uplifted by 1 - 2 km at a rate of 0.016-0.032 mm/a since 60 Ma B.P.; (4) the West Sichuan foreland basin has uplifted by 1.7-3 km at a rate of 0.028-0.05 mm/a since 60 Ma B.P.; (5) the uplift rate of the area on the west side of the Beichuan-Yingxiu-Xiaoguanzi fault for the last 10 Ma is 40 times as much as that on its east side; (6) the uplifting of the the Songpan - Garze fold belt and the subsidence of the West Sichuan foreland basin 60 Ma ago exhibit a mirro-image correlation, i.Liu Shugen, Luo Zhili, Dai Sulan, Changlu Institute of Technology, Chengdu, Sichuan, ChinaDennis Arne Dalhousie U niversity, Canadaand C.J.L. 2The Summer Snow Cover Anomaly over the Tibetan Plateau and Its Association with Simultaneous Precipitation over the Mei-yu–Baiu region显示文摘The summer snow anomalies over the Tibetan Plateau(TP) and their effects on climate variability are often overlooked, possibly due to the fact that some datasets cannot properly capture summer snow cover over high terrain. The satellite-derived Equal-Area Scalable Earth grid(EASE-grid) dataset shows that snow still exists in summer in the western part and along the southern flank of the TP. Analysis demonstrates that the summer snow cover area proportion(SCAP) over the TP has a significant positive correlation with simultaneous precipitation over the mei-yu–baiu(MB) region on the interannual time scale. The close relationship between the summer SCAP and summer precipitation over the MB region could not be simply considered as a simultaneous response to the Silk Road pattern and the SST anomalies in the tropical Indian Ocean and tropical central-eastern Pacific. The SCAP anomaly has an independent effect and may directly modulate the land surface heating and, consequently, vertical motion over the western TP, and concurrently induce anomalous vertical motion over the North Indian Ocean via a meridional vertical circulation. Through a zonal vertical circulation over the tropics and a Kelvin wave-type response, anomalous vertical motion over the North Indian Ocean may result in an anomalous high over the western North Pacific and modulate the convective activity in the western Pacific warm pool, which stimulates the East Asia–Pacific(EAP) pattern and eventually affects summer precipitation over the MB region.LIU Ge WU Renguang ZHANG Yuanzhi NAN Sulan 2014Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2014,31,4:12
3Global climate effects of summer Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Because the Tibetan Plateau (TP)has the highest elevation in the world and is a key area affecting the Asian extreme weather and climate events,studies on the Tibetan Plateau meteorology have been highly concerned by the international scientific community.In the late 1970s.Ye and Gao [1]reveled the climatic characteristics of the TP heating and its connection with global and regional atmospheric circulations.With the seasonal evolution from winter to summer,strong surface sensible heat regulates the timing of the establishment of the Asian summer monsoon [2].However,Boos and Kuang [3]addressed that the large-scale South Asian summer monsoon is unaffected by removal of the plateau,provided that the narrow orography of the Himalayas and adjacent mountain ranges is preserved,and revealed the domi- nance of the uplift of the Himalayas in the formation of the present South Asian summer monsoon.Then,does this indicate a weak effect of the summer TP thermal forcing on the variability of the present South Asian monsoon and larger-scale climates?Some dis- cussions have been also stimulated in Science [4].Ping Zhao Xiuji Zhou Junming Chen Ge Liu Sulan Nan 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,1:7
4esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury.Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4:6

9Precipitate-stabilized surface enabling high-performance Na_(0.67)Ni_(0.33-x)Mn_(0.67)Zn_(x)O_(2) for sodium-ion battery显示文摘Electrode interfacial degradations are the key challenges for high-performance rechargeable batteries,usually mitigated through surface modification/coating strategies.Herein,we report a novel mechanism to enhance the surface stability of P2 layered cathodes by introducing a high density of dopant-enriched precipitates.Based on microscopic analysis,we show that forming a high density of precipitates at the grain surface can effectively suppress surface cracking and corrosion,which not only improves the surface/interface stability but also effectively suppresses the intergranular cracking issue.Increasing the doping level can lead to a greater density of precipitates at the surface region,which results in higher surface stability and increased cycling stability of the P2 layered cathode for a sodium-ion battery.We further reveal that prolonged cycling can induce the formation of a precipitate-free surface region due to the loss of Zn dopant and Na.Our in-depth microanalysis reveals cycling-induced dynamic structural evolution of the P2 layered cathodes,highlighting that dopant segregation-induced precipitation is a new approach to achieving high interfacial stability.Kuan Wang Zhengfeng Zhang Sulan Cheng Xiao Han Junjie Fu Manling Sui Pengfei Yan 2022eScience2022,2,5:2
