5Kinematic mechanism and path planning of the Essboard显示文摘In this paper, we study the kinematic mechanism and path planning for a two-caster nonholonomic vehicle (the Essboard) which is a recent variant of skateboard. Different from the most studied Snakeboard, the Essboard consists of a torsion bar and two platforms, each of which contains a pedal and a caster. We first investigate the relationship between the tilt angles of the pedals and the wheel directions of the casters. This relationship reveals how to control the wheel directions by adjusting the tilt angles. Next, the rotational radius of the Essboard is derived for a given pair of tilt angles of both pedals. The rotational radius of the Essboard is much different than that of the Snakeboard. Then we develop a path-planning algorithm for the Essboard to move from a start position to the goal, using a series of consecutively connected arcs, which are tangent to each other at the connected points. It is shown from a kinematic point of view that the path planning of the Essboard can be solved by a series of pairs of pedals' tilt angles. Three experiments are conducted to confirm the correctness of the main results. 8Incorporating metal nanoparticles in porous materials via selective heating effect using microwave显示文摘Metal nanoparticle@porous material composites have attracted increasing attention due to their excellent synergistic catalytic performance.However,it is a challenge to introduce metal nanoparticles into cavities of porous materials without agglomeration on the exterior.Despite the progress achieved,a universal approach that can integrate different kinds of metal nanoparticles and porous materials is still highly desirable.Here we report a facile and general approach to fabricating metal nanoparticle@porous materials by microwave-triggered selective heating.The microwave can pass through the non-polar solvent and act on the polar solvent in the porous materials,causing the polar solvent to be heated,vaporized,and away from the pores of porous materials.The local void produced by the escape of polar solvent facilitates non-polar solvent containing metallic precursor to be dragged into the narrow pores,followed by further reduction,resulting in the complete encapsulation of nanoparticles.A series of metal nanoparticles@porous materials,ranging from metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)to zeolites,are successfully prepared by this method and show excellent size selectivity in catalytic reactions.Yingyu Zhou Jiacheng Liu Fuyuan Sun Junchen Ouyang Ruifa Su Fanchen Meng Yongqi Luo Cheng Xu Weina Zhang Suoying Zhang Fengwei Huo 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
9Influence of MnO_(x)deposition on TiO_(2)nanotube arrays for electrooxidation显示文摘TiO_(2)has demonstrated outstanding performance in electrochemical advanced oxidation processes(EAOPs)due to its structural stability and high oxygen overpotential.However,there is still much room for improving its electrochemical activity.Herein,narrow bandgap manganese oxide(MnO_(x))was composited with TiO_(2)nanotube arrays(TiO_(2)NTAs)that in-situ oxidized on porous Ti sponge,forming the MnO_(x)-TiO_(2)NTAs anode.XANES and XPS analysis further proved that the composition of MnO_(x)is Mn2O3.Electrochemical characterizations revealed that increasing the composited concentration of MnO_(x)can improve the conductivity and reduce oxygen evolution potential so as to improve the electrochemical activity of the composited MnO_(x)-TiO_(2)NTAs anode.Meanwhile,the optimal degradation rate of benzoic acid(BA)was achieved using MnO_(x)-TiO_(2)NTAs with a MnO_(x)concentration of 0.1 mmol L^(-1),and the role of MnO_(x)was proposed based on DFT calculation.Additionally,the required electrical energy(EE/O)to destroy BA was optimized by varying the composited concentration of MnO_(x)and the degradation voltage.These quantitative results are of great significance for the design and application of high-performance materials for EAOPs.Kaihang Zhang Yuanzheng Zhang Su Liu Xin Tong Junfeng Niu Dong Wang Junchen Yan Zhaoyang Xiong John Crittenden 2023Green Energy & Environment2023,8,2:0
