| 1 | Fabrication and characterization of Fe_3O_4@SiO_2@TiO_2@Ho nanostructures as a novel and highly efficient photocatalyst for degradation of organic pollution显示文摘In this work we synthesize a novel and highly efficient photocatalyst for degradation of methyl orange and rhodamine B. In addition, a new method for synthesis of Fe_3O_4@SiO_2@TiO_2@Ho magnetic core-shell nanoparticles with spherical morphology is proposed. The crystal structures, morphology and chemical properties of the as-synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), energy dispersive X-ray(EDS), X-ray diffraction(XRD), UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRS) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) techniques. The photocatalytic activity of Fe_3O_4@SiO_2@TiO_2@Ho was investigated by degradation of methyl orange(MO) as cationic dye and rhodamine B(Rh B) as anionic dye in aqueous solution under UV/vis irradiation. The results indicate that about 92.1% of Rh B and78.4% of MO were degraded after 120 and 150 min, respectively. These degradation results show that Fe_3O_4@SiO_2@TiO_2@Ho nanoparticles are better photocatalyst than Fe3O4@Si O2@TiO 2@Ho for degradation of MO and Rh B. | 3 | Eco-friendly green synthesis of novel magnetic Fe3O4/SiO2/ZnO-Pr6O11 nanocomposites for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutant显示文摘This study reports the successful so nochemical synthesis of novel Fe3O4/SiO2/ZnO-Pr6O11(Fe/Si/Zn-Pr6O11) nanocomposites using fructose as a green capping agent.The influence of various parameters containing capping agent,power and time of ultrasound irradiation was investigated to reach optimum morphology and size conditions.The products obtained were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),UV/Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(DRS),Fourier transform infrared spectra(FT-IR),vibration sample magnetometer(VSM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis(EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The Fe3O4/SiO2/ZnO-Pr6O11 nanocomposites display remarkably enhanced photocatalytic activity towards rhodamine b degradation(89.6%)and Congo red(84.7%) under UV irradiation compared with the other products.The results illustrate that the photocatalytic efficiency of magnetic nanocomposites is very much higher than pure Pr6O11nanostructures.Magnetic photocatalyst still has good stability after five successive runs.So,these recyclable nanocomposites can play a role in the treatment of both industrial and domestic contaminated water. | Mohammad Ali Ebrahimzadeh Sobhan Mortazavi-Derazkola Mohammad Ali Zazouli | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,1: | 3 |
| 4 | Preparation of a novel, efficient, and recyclable magnetic catalyst,γ-Fe2O3@HAp-Ag nanoparticles, and a solvent- and halogen-free protocol for the synthesis of coumarin derivatives显示文摘In this protocol, Ag supported on the hydroxyapatite-core–shell magnetic γ-Fe_2O_3nanoparticles(γFe_2O_3@HAp-Ag NPs) as a novel, efficient, and magnetically recyclable catalyst is synthesized, and characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), and vibrating sample magnetometry(VSM). | 5 | Rapid generation advance(RGA) in chickpea to produce up to seven generations per year and enable speed breeding显示文摘This study was aimed at developing a protocol for increasing the number of generation cycles per year in chickpea(Cicer arietinum L.).Six accessions,two each from early(JG 11 and JG 14),medium(ICCV 10 and JG 16),and late(CDC-Frontier and C 235)maturity groups,were used.The experiment was conducted for two years under glasshouse conditions.The photoperiod was extended to induce early flowering and immature seeds were germinated to further reduce generation cycle time.Compared to control,artificial light caused a reduction in flowering time by respectively 8–19,7–16,and 11–27 days in early-,medium-,and late-maturing accessions.The earliest stage of immature seed able to germinate was 20–23 days after anthesis in accessions of different maturity groups.The time period between germination and the earliest stage of immature seed suitable for germination was considered one generation cycle and spanned respectively 43–60,44–64,and 52–79 days in early-,medium-,and late-maturing accessions.However,the late-maturing accession CDCFrontier could not be advanced further after three generation cycles owing to the strong influence of photoperiod and temperature.The mean total number of generations produced per year were respectively 7,6.2,and 6 in early-,medium-,and late-maturing accessions.These results have encouraging implications for breeding programs:rapid progression toward homozygosity,development of mapping populations,and reduction in time,space and resources in cultivar development(speed breeding). | Srinivasan Samineni Madhuparni Sen Sobhan BSajja Pooran MGaura | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,1: | 2 |

| 9 | A compact transmit/receive switch for 2.4 GHz reader-less active RFID tag transceiver显示文摘Radio frequency identification(RFID) is a ubiquitous identification technology nowadays. An on-chip high-performance transmit/receive(T/R) switch is designed and simulated in 0.13-μm CMOS technology for reader-less RFID tag. The switch utilizes only the transistor width and length(W/L) optimization, proper gate bias resistor and resistive body floating technique and therefore,exhibits 1 d B insertion loss, 31.5 d B isolation and 29.2 d Bm 1-d B compression point(P1d B). Moreover, the switch dissipates only786.7 n W power for 1.8/0 V control voltages and is capable of switching in 794 fs. Above all, as there is no inductor or capacitor used in the circuit, the size of the switch is 0.00208 mm2 only.
