1Adenomyosis uterine innervation in mice correlates to nerve growth factor expression,inflammation,and vascularization显示文摘BACKGROUND: Studies have shown that abnormal innervation is an important factor impacting occurrence and development of pathological pain in endometriosis. OBJECTIVE: To observe uterine innervation of adenomyosis mice and to analyze the cause of innervation changes due to nerve growth factor (NGF) expression, inflammation, and vascularization. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: This randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and Central Laboratory of Zhong- shan Hospital, Fudan University from March to December 2008. MATERIALS: Tamoxifen was provided by Fudan Forward, China. Rabbit anti-mouse NGF was purchased from Santa Cruz Corporation, USA; rabbit anti-protein gene product 9.5 (PGP9.5) and rabbit antisubstance P (SP) were purchased from Chemicon, USA. METHODS: A total of 40 newborn ICR mice were randomly assigned to adenomyosis model and control groups, with 20 animals in each group. Mice in the adenomyosis model group were orally administrated 2.7 μmol/kg tamoxifen on days 2-5 after birth, while the controls were not treated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Both uteri from all mice were harvested at days 135-145 after birth. Expressions of polyclonal PGP9.5 and SP were immunohistochemically detected to demonstrate pan- and sensory nerve fibers. Microvessel density was quantified in the endometrium and myometrium using immunochemical staining for polyclonal rabbit anti-CD31, which stained vessels. Gene expression for NGF, high-affinity tyrosine kinase receptor (trkA), p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), bradykinin receptor-1 (BKR-1), and 2 (BKR-2), as well as substance P receptor (neurokinin1 receptor, NK1-R), were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. NGF-β protein expression was detected by Western blot analysis. RESULTS: More nerve fibers were stained with PGP9.5 in the endometrium and myometrium, and with SP in the endometrium, in adenomyosis mice compared with controls (P < 0.01 and P < 0.05). Microvessel density in the myometrium of adenomyosis mice was significantly greater than the controls (P < 0.01). In the uterus of adenomyosis mice, mRNA expression of NGF and its two receptors (trkA and p75 NTR), BKR-1, and NK1-R, as well as protein expression of NGF-β, were greater than the control mice (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Uterine innervation in the adenomyosis mice was increased compared with the controls. Moreover, NGF expression, inflammation, and vascularization, which have been shown to be impact factors of innervation, were abnormal in the uteri of adenomyosis mice.Yan Li Shaofen Zhang Xian Xia Shien Zou 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,1:9

5The relations among the three kinds of conditional risk measures显示文摘Let(Ω,E,P)be a probability space,F a sub-σ-algebra of E,Lp(E)(1 p+∞)the classical function space and Lp F(E)the L0(F)-module generated by Lp(E),which can be made into a random normed module in a natural way.Up to the present time,there are three kinds of conditional risk measures,whose model spaces are L∞(E),Lp(E)(1 p<+∞)and Lp F(E)(1 p+∞)respectively,and a conditional convex dual representation theorem has been established for each kind.The purpose of this paper is to study the relations among the three kinds of conditional risk measures together with their representation theorems.We first establish the relation between Lp(E)and Lp F(E),namely Lp F(E)=Hcc(Lp(E)),which shows that Lp F(E)is exactly the countable concatenation hull of Lp(E).Based on the precise relation,we then prove that every L0(F)-convex Lp(E)-conditional risk measure(1 p+∞)can be uniquely extended to an L0(F)-convex Lp F(E)-conditional risk measure and that the dual representation theorem of the former can also be regarded as a special case of that of the latter,which shows that the study of Lp-conditional risk measures can be incorporated into that of Lp F(E)-conditional risk measures.In particular,in the process we find that combining the countable concatenation hull of a set and the local property of conditional risk measures is a very useful analytic skill that may considerably simplify and improve the study of L0-convex conditional risk measures.GUO TieXin ZHAO ShiEn ZENG XiaoLin 2014Science China Mathematics2014,57,8:6

9Brain areas activated by uncertain reward-based decision-making in healthy volunteers显示文摘Reward-based decision-making has been found to activate several brain areas,including the ventrolateral prefrontal lobe,orbitofrontal cortex,anterior cingulate cortex,ventral striatum,and mesolimbic dopaminergic system.In this study,we observed brain areas activated under three degrees of uncertainty in a reward-based decision-making task(certain,risky,and ambiguous).The tasks were presented using a brain function audiovisual stimulation system.We conducted brain scans of15 healthy volunteers using a 3.0T magnetic resonance scanner.We used SPM8 to analyze the location and intensity of activation during the reward-based decision-making task,with respect to the three conditions.We found that the orbitofrontal cortex was activated in the certain reward condition,while the prefrontal cortex,precentral gyrus,occipital visual cortex,inferior parietal lobe,cerebellar posterior lobe,middle temporal gyrus,inferior temporal gyrus,limbic lobe,and midbrain were activated during the‘risk’condition.The prefrontal cortex,temporal pole,inferior temporal gyrus,occipital visual cortex,and cerebellar posterior lobe were activated during ambiguous decision-making.The ventrolateral prefrontal lobe,frontal pole of the prefrontal lobe,orbitofrontal cortex,precentral gyrus,inferior temporal gyrus,fusiform gyrus,supramarginal gyrus,inferior parietal lobule,and cerebellar posterior lobe exhibited greater activation in the‘risk’than in the‘certain’condition(P<0.05).The frontal pole and dorsolateral region of the prefrontal lobe,as well as the cerebellar posterior lobe,showed significantly greater activation in the‘ambiguous’condition compared to the‘risk’condition(P<0.05).The prefrontal lobe,occipital lobe,parietal lobe,temporal lobe,limbic lobe,midbrain,and posterior lobe of the cerebellum were activated during decision-making about uncertain rewards.Thus,we observed different levels and regions of activation for different types of reward processing during decision-making.Specifically,when the degree of reward uncertainty increased,the number of activated brain areas increased,including greater activation of brain areas associated with loss.Zongjun Guo Juan Chen Shien Liu Yuhuan Li Bo Sun Zhenbo Gao 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,35:3
