1Polymorphisms in PPARD,PPARG and APM1 associated with four types of Traditional Chinese Medicine constitutions显示文摘Based on the theory of constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the human population is divided into nine constitutions including one balanced constitution (Normality) and eight unbalanced constitutions (Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency, Phlegm-wetness, Qi-deficiency, Wetness-heat, Blood stasis, Depressed constitution, and Inherited special constitution). Different constitutions have specific metabolic features and different susceptibility to certain diseases. However, whether a genetic basis accounts for such constitution classifica-tion is yet to be determined. Here we performed a genetic study to assess the association between genetic variations of metabolic genes in-cluding PPARD, PPARG and APM1 and the constitutions. A total of 233 individuals of the Han population in China were classified into four groups, Normality, Yang-deficiency, Yin-deficiency and Phlegm-wetness with whom 23 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the three genes were genotyped using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method. Biased distri-bution of PPARD rs2267669 and rs2076167, APM1 rs7627128 and rs1063539 in Yang-deficiency, PPARG Pro12Ala in Yin-deficiency and PPARD rs2076167, APM1 rs266729 and rs7627128 in Phlegm-wetness were observed. The frequencies of Haplotype13 (Hap13) of PPARG in Yin-deficiency, Hap25 of APM1 in Yang-deficiency and Hap2 of PPARD and Hap14 of PPARG in Phlegm-wetness, were significantly different from those in Normality, suggesting those might be group-associated haplotypes. 3Comparative analysis of CO_2-based transcritical Rankine cycle and HFC245fa-based subcritical organic Rankine cycle using low-temperature geothermal source显示文摘A detailed thermodynamic and techno-economic comparison is presented for a CO2-based transcritical Rankine cycle and a subcritical organic Rankine cycle (ORC) using HFC245fa (1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoro-propane) as the working fluid driven by the low-temperature geothermal source,in order to determine the configuration that presents the maximum net power output with a minimum investment.The evaluations of both Rankine cycles have been performed based on equal thermodynamic mean heat rejection temperature by varying certain system operating parameters to achieve each Rankine cycle's optimum design at various geothermal source temperature levels ranging from 80oC to 120oC.The results obtained show that the optimum ther-modynamic mean heat injection temperatures of both Rankine cycles are distributed in the scope of 55% to 65% of a given geothermal source temperature level,and that the CO2-based transcritical Rankine cycle presents 3% to 7% higher net power output,84% reduction of turbine inlet volume flow rate,47% reduction of expansion ratio and 1.68 times higher total heat transfer capacity compared with the HFC245fa-based subcritical ORC.It is also indicated that using the CO2-based transcritical system can reduce the dimension of turbine design.However,it requires larger heat transfer areas with higher strength heat exchanger materials because of the higher system pressure.GUO Tao,WANG HuaiXin & ZHANG ShengJun Department of Thermal Energy and Refrigeration Engineering,Tianjin University,Tianjin 300072,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,6:26
4Accelerated Degradation Reliability Modeling and Test Data Statistical Analysis of Aerospace Electrical Connector显示文摘As few or no failures occur during accelerated life test,it is difficult to assess reliability for long-life products with traditional life tests.Reliability assessment using degradation data of product performance over time becomes a significant approach.Aerospace electrical connector is researched in this paper.Through the analysis of failure mechanism,the performance degradation law is obtained and the statistical model for degradation failure is set up;according to the research on statistical analysis methods for degradation data,accelerated life test theory and method for aerospace electrical connector based on performance degradation is proposed by improving time series analysis method,and the storage reliability is assessed for Y11X series of aerospace electrical connector with degradation data from accelerated degradation test.The result obtained is basically consistent with that obtained from accelerated life test based on failure data,and the two estimates of product's characteristic life only have a difference of 8.7%,but the test time shortens about a half.As a result,a systemic approach is proposed for reliability assessment of highly reliable and long-life aerospace product.CHEN Wenhua LIU Juan GAO Liang PAN Jun ZHOU Shengjun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,6:22

6Effect of Trichoderma viride biofertilizer on ammonia volatilization from an alkaline soil in Northern China显示文摘Ammonia(NH3) volatilization is one of the primary pathways of nitrogen(N) loss from soils after chemical fertilizer is applied, especially from the alkaline soils in Northern China, which results in lower efficiency for chemical fertilizers. Therefore, we conducted an incubation experiment using an alkaline soil from Tianjin(p H 8.37–8.43) to evaluate the suppression effect of Trichoderma viride(T. viride) biofertilizer on NH3 volatilization, and compared the differences in microbial community structure among all samples. The results showed that viable T. viride biofertilizer(T) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 42.21% compared with conventional fertilizer((CK), urea), while nonviable T. viride biofertilizer(TS) decreased NH_3 volatilization by 32.42%. NH_3 volatilization was significantly higher in CK and sweet potato starch wastewater(SPSW) treatments during the peak period. T. viride biofertilizer also improved the transfer of ammonium from soil to sweet sorghum. Plant dry weights increased 91.23% and 61.08% for T and TS, respectively, compared to CK. Moreover, T. viride biofertilizer enhanced nitrification by increasing the abundance of ammonium-oxidizing archaea(AOA) and ammonium-oxidizing bacteria(AOB). The results of high-throughput sequencing indicated that the microbial community structure and composition were significantly changed by the application of T. viride biofertilizer. 7Olfactory ecto-mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes ameliorate murine Sjögren’s syndrome by modulating the function of myeloid-derived suppressor cells显示文摘Sjögren’s syndrome(SS)is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by progressive inflammation and tissue damage in salivary glands and lacrimal glands.Our previous studies showed that myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)exhibited impaired immunosuppressive function during disease progression in patients with SS and mice with experimental Sjögren’s syndrome(ESS),but it remains unclear whether restoring the function of MDSCs can effectively ameliorate the development of ESS.In this study,we found that murine olfactory ecto-mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(OE-MSC-Exos)significantly enhanced the suppressive function of MDSCs by upregulating arginase expression and increasing ROS and NO levels.Moreover,treatment with OE-MSC-Exos via intravenous injection markedly attenuated disease progression and restored MDSC function in ESS mice.Mechanistically,OE-MSC-Exo-secreted IL-6 activated the Jak2/Stat3 pathway in MDSCs.In addition,the abundant S100A4 in OE-MSC-Exos acted as a key factor in mediating the endogenous production of IL-6 by MDSCs via TLR4 signaling,indicating an autocrine pathway of MDSC functional modulation by IL-6.Taken together,our results demonstrated that OE-MSC-Exos possess therapeutic potential to attenuate ESS progression by enhancing the immunosuppressive function of MDSCs,possibly constituting a new strategy for the treatment of Sjögren’s syndrome and other autoimmune diseases.Ke Rui Yue Hong Qiugang Zhu Xiaofei Shi Fan Xiao Hailong Fu Qing Yin Yida Xing Xinfeng Wu Xiaodan Kong Huaxi Xu Jie Tian Shengjun Wang Liwei Lu 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:12
8The complete nucleotide sequence and its organization of the genome of Barley yellow dwarf virus-GAV显示文摘The complete nucleotide sequence of genomic RNA of BYDV-GAV was determined. It comprised 5685 nucleotides and contained six open reading frames and four un-translated regions. The size and organization of BYDV-GAV genome were similar to those of BYDV PAV-aus. The nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences of the six ORFs were aligned and compared with those of other luteoviruses. The results showed that there was a high degree of identity between BYDV-GAV and MAV-PS1 in all ORFs except ORF5 and ORF6, which had only 87.4% and 70.2% identities respectively. The reported genomic nucleotide sequence of MAV was shorter than that of BYDV-GAV, but the comparison of the genomic nucleotide sequences for MAV-PS1 and GAV showed 90.4% sequence identity for the same region of the genome. Carbon and nitrogen removal can be achieved by utilizing the electron transfer between the anode and cathode in an MFC. However,large-scale power production and high removal efficiency must be achieved at a low cost to make MFCs practical and economically competitive in the future. 11Secret Key Generation Based on Two-Way Randomness for TDD-SISO System显示文摘A novel secret key generation(SKG)method based on two-way randomness is proposed for TDD-SISO system.The legitimate transceivers mutually transmit their own random signal via reciprocal wireless channel,then the multiplication of transmitted and received signal is used as common randomness to generate secret keys.In quasi-static channel,the theoretical SKG rates(SKGRs)of the three SKG methods,namely wireless channel based,one-way randomness and two-way randomness,are derived and compared.Further,two practical SKG schemes based on twoway randomness,Scheme-1bit and Scheme-3bit,are completely designed and simulated.Generally,Scheme-1bit applies to low signal to noise ratio(SNR)scenarios and achieves 0.13~0.86bit/T_s SKGR and 10^(-2)~10^(-5) level secret key outage probability(SKOP),while Scheme-3bit fits high SNR situation and obtains 0.93~1.35bit/T_s SKGR and 10^(-3)~10^(-4) level SKOP.At last,the national institute of standards and technology(NIST)test is conducted to evaluate the secret key randomness(SKRD)and the test results show that both of the proposed schemes have passed the test.Shengjun Zhang Liang Jin Yangming Lou Zhou Zhong 2018China Communications2018,15,7:8

13Aerosol influence domain of Beijing and peripheral city agglomeration and its climatic effect显示文摘The aerosol distribution in Beijing and peripheral cities agglomeration (BPCA) and its re- gional climatic effect are investigated on the basis of the statistical analyses of satellite Total Ozone Map- ping Spectrometer (TOMS) retrieval aerosol optical depth (AOD) and the meteorological data of sunshine duration, fog days, and low cloud cover, observed at Beijing and its peripheral meteorological stations. The analysis on multi-samples variational correction of the satellite remote sensing Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) AOD under the clear sky and stable weather condition in conjunction with surface observations reveal that there was a “triangle-like” distribution pattern of the high values of aerosols in the southern “valley” of the “U-shape” megarelief of Beijing and its peripheral areas. The distribution pattern suggests that the large-scale transfer and diffusion of city agglomeration pollutants might form a relatively persistent characteristic spatial distribution of city agglomeration pollutants much larger than city-scale. Under the background of the particular megarelief effect of Beijing and periph- eral areas, the high value area of TOMS AOD, as well as regional correlation distribution between clear sky sunshine duration and TOMS AOD are also similar to the composite image of MODIS AOD variational fields, that is to say, the effect of atmospheric aerosols was very distinctive in Beijing and peripheral areas. The high value area of the negative correlation between clear sky sunshine duration and TOMS AOD ap-proximately accorded with the significant negative value area of the sunshine duration deviations of the 1980s to the 1990s, and the daily variations of the AOD also showed an anti-phase relation with those of clear sky sunshine duration. The above high cor- relation area of the urban aerosol impact of Beijing- Tianjin region leant towards south peripheral area, with its “center of gravity” in the south of Beijing- Tianjin agglomeration, and the main body of the high correlation area prolongating southwards, forming an aerosol influence domain of “eccentric ellipse” shape, that is to say, there was an aerosol influence domain of some “radius” in Beijing City and its peripheral areas, within and outside which sunshine duration, low cloud cover, and fog days showed a remarkable difference in interannual variation trend. At the downstream of the city agglomeration there was a significant interdecadal increment area of fog or low cloud cover, which might be associated with the local climatic feature of the regional flow convergent field in the diffusion process of city agglomeration pollut- ants in the aerosol influence domain, and such a local dynamical convergence feature might lead to the regional exacerbation of aerosol impact downstream of the city agglomeration. 14A High-Resolution Earth’s Gravity Field Model SGG-UGM-2 from GOCE,GRACE,Satellite Altimetry,and EGM2008显示文摘This paper focuses on estimating a new high-resolution Earth’s gravity field model named SGG-UGM-2 from satellite gravimetry,satellite altimetry,and Earth Gravitational Model 2008(EGM2008)-derived gravity data based on the theory of the ellipsoidal harmonic analysis and coefficient transformation(EHA-CT).We first derive the related formulas of the EHA-CT method,which is used for computing the spherical harmonic coefficients from grid area-mean and point gravity anomalies on the ellipsoid.The derived formulas are successfully evaluated based on numerical experiments.Then,based on the derived least-squares formulas of the EHA-CT method,we develop the new model SGG-UGM-2 up to degree 2190 and order 2159 by combining the observations of the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer(GOCE),the normal equation of the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE),marine gravity data derived from satellite altimetry data,and EGM2008-derived continental gravity data.The coefficients of degrees 251–2159 are estimated by solving the block-diagonal form normal equations of surface gravity anomalies(including the marine gravity data).The coefficients of degrees 2–250 are determined by combining the normal equations of satellite observations and surface gravity anomalies.The variance component estimation technique is used to estimate the relative weights of different observations.Finally,global positioning system(GPS)/leveling data in the mainland of China and the United States are used to validate SGG-UGM-2 together with other models,such as European improved gravity model of the earth by new techniques(EIGEN)-6C4,GECO,EGM2008,and SGG-UGM-1(the predecessor of SGG-UGM-2).Compared to other models,the model SGG-UGM-2 shows a promising performance in the GPS/leveling validation.All GOCE-related models have similar performances both in the mainland of China and the United States,and better performances than that of EGM2008 in the mainland of China.Due to the contribution of GRACE data and the new marine gravity anomalies,SGG-UGM-2 is slightly better than SGG-UGM-1 both in the mainland of China and the United States.Wei Liang Jiancheng Li Xinyu Xu Shengjun Zhang Yongqi Zhao 2020Engineering2020,6,8:8
15Digital Extraction of Altitudinal Belt Spectra in the West Kunlun Mountains Using SPOT-VGT NDVI and SRTM DEM显示文摘In this paper,a digital identification method for the extraction of altitudinal belt spectra of montane natural belts is presented.Acquiring the sequential spectra of digital altitudinal belts in mountains at an acceptable temporal frequency and over a large area requires extensive time and work if traditional methods of field investigation are to be used.Such being the case,often the altitudinal belts of a whole mountain or the belts at a regional scale are represented by single points.However,single points obviously cannot accurately reflect the spatial variety of altitudinal belts.In this context,a digital method was developed to extract the spectra of altitudinal belts from remote sensing data and SRTM DEM in the West Kunlun Mountains.By means of the 1km resolution SPOT-4 vegetation 10-day composite NDVI,the horizontal distribution of altitudinal belts were extracted through supervised classification,with a total classification accuracy of 72.23%.Then,a way of twice-scan was used to realize the automatic transition of horizontal maps to vertical belts.The classification results of remote-sensing data could thus be transformed automatically to sequential spectra of digital altitudinal belts.The upper and lower lines of the altitudinal belts were then extracted by vertical scanning of the belts.Relationships between the altitudinal belts based on the montane natural zones concerning vegetation types and the geomorphological altitudinal belts were also discussed.As a tentative method,the digital extraction method presented here is effective at digitally identifying altitudinal belts,and could be helpful in rapid information extraction over large-scale areas.XIAO Fei LING Feng DU Yun XUE Huaiping WU Shengjun 2010Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,2:8

17Illegal Radio Station Localization with UAV-Based Q-Learning显示文摘This paper proposes a novel unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-based illegal radio station(IRS) localization scheme, where the transmit power of the IRS, the channel model and the noise model are unknown to the UAV. A direction-aware Q-learning algorithm is developed to process received signal strength(RSS) values collected by a directional antenna, as well as directions corresponding to the RSS values. This algorithm determines the direction the UAV flies towards and thereby finds the IRS. The proposed scheme is compared to two baseline schemes. One baseline locates the IRS by a UAV equipped with an omnidirectional antenna, where conventional Q-learning is exploited to process the measured RSS and determine the UAV's trajectory. The other baseline locates the IRS by a directional-antenna UAV, where the UAV flies towards the direction with respect to the maximum RSS value. Numerical results show that, especially for a low receive SNR, the proposed scheme can outperform the two baselines in terms of the localization efficiency, providing a smoother trajectory for the UAV.Shengjun Wu 2018China Communications2018,15,12:7

20Benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet array with enhanced stability for electrochemical seawater oxidation显示文摘Seawater electrolysis is an extremely attractive approach for harvesting clean hydrogen energy,but detrimental chlorine species(i.e.,chloride and hypochlorite)cause severe corrosion at the anode.Here,we report our recent finding that benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet on carbon cloth(BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC)behaves as a highly efficient and durable monolithic catalyst for alkaline seawater oxidation,affords enlarged interlayer spacing of LDH,inhibits chlorine(electro)chemistry,and alleviates local pH drop of the electrode.It only needs an overpotential of 320 mV to reach a current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in 1 M KOH.In contrast to the fast activity decay of NiFe-LDH/CC counterpart during long-term electrolysis,BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC achieves stable 100-h electrolysis at an industrial-level current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in alkaline seawater.Operando Raman spectroscopy studies further identify structural changes of disorderedδ(NiIII-O)during the seawater oxidation process.Longcheng Zhang Jie Liang Luchao Yue Kai Dong Jun Li Donglin Zhao Zerong Li Shengjun Sun Yongsong Luo Qian Liu Guanwei Cui Abdulmohsen Ali Alshehri Xiaodong Guo Xuping Sun 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:6
