1New hypothesis and treatment targets of depression:an integrated view of key findings显示文摘Major depressive disorder(MDD) is a common and devastating psychiatric disorder characterized by persistent low mood,cognitive disorder,and impaired social function. Despite its complex mechanisms,increasing evidence has identified the involvement of neurotrophic factors,inflammatory cytokines,the hypothalamuspituitary-adrenal axis,and glutamate receptors in the pathophysiology of this illness. The present review synthesizes recent research achievements to defi ne the network between different hypotheses of MDD and to understand which part is most pivotal for its pathogenesis. By integrating MDD-related signal pathways,we highlight brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) dysfunction and increased apoptosis as the fi nal common cascades,and new therapeutic strategies aiming to enhance BDNF function have been shown to exert a rapid and effective antidepressant action.Shangli Cai Shucai Huang Wei Hao 2015Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,1:9
2Variable Selection in Logistic Regression Model显示文摘Variable selection is one of the most important problems in pattern recognition. In linear regression model, there are many methods can solve this problem,such as Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO) and many improved LASSO methods, but there are few variable selection methods in generalized linear models. We study the variable selection problem in logistic regression model. We propose a new variable selection method – the logistic elastic net, prove that it has grouping effect which means that the strongly correlated predictors tend to be in or out of the model together. The logistic elastic net is particularly useful when the number of predictors(p) is much bigger than the number of observations(n). By contrast, the LASSO is not a very satisfactory variable selection method in the case when p is more larger than n. 11An Application of the Modified Shear Lag Model to Study the Influence of Thermal Residual Stresses on the Stiffness and Yield Strength of Short Fiber Reinforced Metal Matrix Composites显示文摘The modified shear lag model proposed recently was applied to calculate thermal residual stresses and subsequent stress distributions under tensile and compressive loadings. The expressions for the elastic moduli and the yield strengths under tensile and compressive loadings were derived which take account of thermal residual stresses. The asymmetries in the elastic modulus and the yield strength were interpreted using the derived expressions and the obtained results of the stress calculations. 18Preparation and tribological properties of potassium titanate-Ti_3C_2T_x nanocomposites as additives in base oil显示文摘A potassium titanate-Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanocomposite was synthesized using a facile, low-temperature and environmentally friendly process. The morphology and micro structure of the as-prepared samples were analyzed by means of XRD, SEM, TEM, and XPS. The tribological property of the nanocomposite as additive in base oil was evaluated. The results reveal that the in-situ formed potassium titanate nanowires with average diameter of 30 nm and the uniform distribution on the surface of Ti3 C2 Tx nanosheets.Compare to Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanosheets, the average friction coefficient and wear scar width of the oil containing potassium titanate-Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanocomposites are decreased by 4.9% and 22% under the same conditions.The excellent tribological performance is attributed to the synergic effects of the two components in the nanocomposite structure.Xuefeng Zhang Yu Guo Yijia Li Yong Liu Shangli Dong 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,2:1

20Circulating cell-free DNA for cancer early detection显示文摘Effective screening modalities are currently available for only a small subset of cancers,and they generally have suboptimal performance with complicated procedures.Therefore,there is an urgent need to develop simple,accurate,and non-invasive methods for early detection of cancers.Genetic and epigenetic alterations in plasma circulating cell-free DNA(cfDNA)have shown the potential to revolutionize methods of early detection of cancers and facilitate subsequent diagnosis to improve survival of patients.The medical interest in cfDNA assays has been inspired by emerging single-and multi-early detection of cancers studies.This review summarizes current technological and clinical advances,in the hopes of providing insights into the development and applications of cfDNA assays in various cancers and clinical scenarios.The key phases of clinical development of biomarkers are highlighted,and the future developments of cfDNA-based liquid biopsies in early detection of cancers are outlined.It is hoped that this study can boost the potential integration of cfDNA-based early detection of cancers into the current clinical workflow.Qiang Gao Qiang Zeng Zhijie Wang Chengcheng Li Yu Xu Peng Cui Xin Zhu Huafei Lu Guoqiang Wang Shangli Cai Jie Wang Jia Fan 2022The Innovation2022,3,4:1
