| 1 | Dependability analysis of the data communication system in train control system显示文摘Communication based train control (CBTC) system is based on mobile communication and overcomes fixed blocks in order to increase track utilization and train safety. The data communication system (DCS) between trains and wayside equipment is a crucial factor for the safe and efficient operation of CBTC system. The dependability under various transmission conditions needs to be modeled and evaluated. In this paper,a stochastic reward net (SRN) model for DCS based IEEE 802.11 standard was developed,which captures all relevant failure and failure recovery behavior system aspects in a concise way. We compared the reliability,availability for DCS with and without access point (AP) and antenna redundant configuration. We also quantitatively evaluated and compared the frame loss probability for three DCS configurations with different train velocities and train numbers in one radio cell. Fixed-point iteration was adopted to simplify the analysis. | 2 | Variable Selection in Logistic Regression Model显示文摘Variable selection is one of the most important problems in pattern recognition. In linear regression model, there are many methods can solve this problem,such as Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO) and many improved LASSO methods, but there are few variable selection methods in generalized linear models. We study the variable selection problem in logistic regression model. We propose a new variable selection method – the logistic elastic net, prove that it has grouping effect which means that the strongly correlated predictors tend to be in or out of the model together. The logistic elastic net is particularly useful when the number of predictors(p) is much bigger than the number of observations(n). By contrast, the LASSO is not a very satisfactory variable selection method in the case when p is more larger than n. | 3 | A Novel Integrated Path Planning Algorithm for Warehouse AGVs显示文摘We propose an integrated path planning method for multiple automated guided vehicles performing logistics delivery within a real-world warehouse environment considering obstacles. By applying it on each vehicle,this proposed method enables the vehicle the vehicles have the capabilities for autonomous path planning. The path planning consists of three parts, K-means algorithm based task points clustering, genetic algorithm based task points ordering, and the probabilistic road map based best path search. | 8 | A Novel Tracking-by-Detection Method with Local Binary Pattern and Kalman Filter显示文摘Tracking-Learning-Detection( TLD) is an adaptive tracking algorithm,which tracks by learning the appearance of the object as the video progresses and shows a good performance in long-term tracking task.But our experiments show that under some scenarios,such as non-uniform illumination changing,serious occlusion,or motion-blurred,it may fails to track the object. In this paper,to surmount some of these shortages,especially for the non-uniform illumination changing,and give full play to the performance of the tracking-learning-detection framework, we integrate the local binary pattern( LBP) with the cascade classifiers,and define a new classifier named ULBP( Uniform Local Binary Pattern) classifiers. When the object appearance has rich texture features,the ULBP classifier will work instead of the nearest neighbor classifier in TLD algorithm,and a recognition module is designed to choose the suitable classifier between the original nearest neighbor( NN) classifier and the ULBP classifier. To further decrease the computing load of the proposed tracking approach,Kalman filter is applied to predict the searching range of the tracking object.A comprehensive study has been conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm (TLD _ULBP),and different multi-property datasets were used. | 9 | Study on key technologies of GNSS-based train state perception for traincentric railway signaling显示文摘The application of Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSSs)in the intelligent railway systems is rapidly developing all over the world.With the GNSs-based train positioning and moving state perception,the autonomy and flexibility of a novel train control system can be greatly enhanced over the existing solutions relying on the track-side facilities.Considering the safety critical features of the railway signaling applications,the GNSS stand-alone mode may not be sufficient to satisfy the practical requirements.In this paper,the key technologies for applying GNSS in novel train-centric railway signaling systems are investigated,including the multi-sensor data fusion,Virtual Balise(VB)capturing and messaging,train integrity monitoring and system performance evaluation.According to the practical characteristics of the novel train control system under the moving block mode,the details of the key technologies are introduced.Field demonstration results of a novel train control system using the presented technologies under the practical railway operation conditions are presented to illustrate the achievable performance feature of autonomous train state perception using BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)and related solutions.It reveals the great potentials of these key technologies in the next generation train control system and other GNSS-based railway implementations. | Baigen Cai Jingnan Liu Xurong Dong Jiang Liu | 2023 | High-Speed Railway2023,1,1: | 0 |
