| 1 | 基于JKR粘结模型的蚯蚓粪基质离散元法参数标定显示文摘为确定不同含水率下蚯蚓粪基质的多种参数,提出了通过测定基质含水率,预测休止角,通过休止角合理推测其他参数的思路,并提出了一种散体休止角测定方法。以休止角作为参照,基于JKR粘结模型,使用离散元参数标定的方法,从与蚯蚓粪基质颗粒有关的10个参数中,筛选出颗粒间静摩擦因数、颗粒间滚动摩擦因数和JKR表面能3个对休止角影响显著的参数,建立了休止角与这3个显著参数之间的二次多项式回归模型。试验结果表明,该模型可以根据休止角预测蚯蚓粪基质参数,根据预测得到的参数建立离散元模型,休止角仿真结果与实际试验结果较为接近,差异分别为1.53%和0.22%。同时测定了不同含水率下蚯蚓粪基质的休止角,建立了休止角与含水率之间的关系模型。研究结果可为其他类似散体物料休止角的测定提供参考,并提供了一种通过测定易于测定的参数(如含水率)来推导其他难测参数的思路。 | 罗帅 袁巧霞 GOUDA Shaban 杨龙元 | 2018 | 农业机械学报2018,49,4: | 51 |
| 2 | Stroke mechanisms and outcomes of isolated symptomatic basilar artery stenosis显示文摘background While diffuse atherosclerotic disease affecting the posterior circulation has been described extensively,the prevalence,natural history and angiographic characteristics of isolated symptomatic basilar artery stenosis(ISBAS)remain unknown.Methods We reviewed our prospective institutional database to identify patients with≥50% symptomatic basilar artery(BA)stenosis without significant atherosclerotic burden in the vertebral or posterior cerebral arteries.Stroke mechanism,collateral circulation,and degree and length of stenosis were analysed.The primary outcome was time from index event to new transient ischaemic attack(TIA),acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)or death.Other outcome variables included modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score on discharge and last follow-up.results Of 6369 patients with AIS/TIA,91(1.43%)had ISBAS.Seventy-three(80.2%)patients presented with AIS and 18(19.8%)with TIA.Twenty-nine(31.9%)were women and the median age was 66.8±13.6 years.The mean follow-up time was 2.7 years.The most common stroke mechanism was artery-to artery thromboembolism(45.2%),followed by perforator occlusion(28.7%)and flow-dependent/hypoperfusion(15.1%).The percentage of stenosis was lower in patients who had favourable outcome compared with those with mRS 3-6 on discharge(78.3±14.3 vs 86.9±14.5,p=0.007).Kaplan-Meier curves showed higher recurrence/death rates in patients with≥80% stenosis,mid-basilar location and poor collateral circulation.Approximately 13% of patients with ISBAS presented with complete BA occlusion.Conclusion ISBAS is an uncommon(1.43%)cause of TIA and AIS.Men in their 60s are mostly affected,and artery-to artery embolism is the most common stroke mechanism.Mid-basilar location,≥80% stenosis and poor collateral circulation are important factors associated with worse prognosis. | Edgar A Samaniego Amir Shaban Santiago Ortega-Gutierrez Jorge A Roa David M Hasan Colin Derdeyn Biyue Dai Harold Adams Enrique Leira | 2019 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2019,4,4: | 10 |
| 3 | Warm Deformation of Low Carbon Steel Using Forward Extrusion-Equal Channel Angular Pressing Technique显示文摘A combination of extrusion and equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) was used to deform a plain low carbon steel. This process consists of two successive deformations by extrusion and ECAP in a single die (Ex-ECAP). Cylindrical samples were heated to predefined temperatures (650 and 850 ℃) and then pressed through a die channel with crosshead speed of 10 mm/s. Microstructure and resultant mechanical properties of processed material were studied. The results showed that pressing temperature has a significant effect on the resultant microstructure. While at 650 ℃, the cold worked structure with elongated ferrite grains were obtained, and at 850 ℃ the microstructure consisted of elongated ferrite grains and very fine grains at their boundaries as a consequence of continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) of ferrite phase. | 4 | Mixed-effects modeling for tree height prediction models of Oriental beech in the Hyrcanian forests显示文摘Height–diameter relationships are essential elements of forest assessment and modeling efforts.In this work,two linear and eighteen nonlinear height–diameter equations were evaluated to find a local model for Oriental beech(Fagus orientalis Lipsky) in the Hyrcanian Forest in Iran.The predictive performance of these models was first assessed by different evaluation criteria: adjusted R^2(R^2_(adj)),root mean square error(RMSE),relative RMSE(%RMSE),bias,and relative bias(%bias) criteria.The best model was selected for use as the base mixed-effects model.Random parameters for test plots were estimated with different tree selection options.Results show that the Chapman–Richards model had better predictive ability in terms of adj R^2(0.81),RMSE(3.7 m),%RMSE(12.9),bias(0.8),%Bias(2.79) than the other models.Furthermore,the calibration response,based on a selection of four trees from the sample plots,resulted in a reduction percentage for bias and RMSE of about 1.6–2.7%.Our results indicate that the calibrated model produced the most accurate results. | Siavash Kalbi Asghar Fallah Pete Bettinger Shaban Shataee Rassoul Yousefpour | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,5: | 6 |
| 5 | History of cupping(Hijama):a narrative review of literature显示文摘Cupping(Hijama in Arabic) is an ancient, holistic method for the treatment of a variety of diseases. Though the exact origin of cupping therapy is a matter of controversy, its use has been documented in early Egyptian and Chinese medical practices. Diverse human civilizations have contributed to the historical development and continuation of cupping therapy. This narrative review describes the history of cupping, historical definitions, cupping instruments and uses of cupping therapy. Electronic searches of relevant databases(Pub Med, Google Scholar and Ovid SP) were conducted using keywords and Boolean operators. Manual searches and references of published articles and books were also conducted. A number of articles(N = 625) were retained for extensive review, and finally 83 articles were included in this paper. The historical descriptions of cupping therapy were found in ancient human civilizations of the Eastern and Western world. There were inconsistent data concerning the origin of cupping, definitions, instruments, procedures, definite advancements and research in Hijama over centuries. Cupping therapy fell out of favor in 17 th and mid-18 th centuries but recovered popularity in modern medicine. Currently, cupping therapy is used for health promotion, prophylaxis and treatment of a variety of diseases around the world. Cupping therapy with a good safety profile has a checkered history and is a well-recognized traditional method for managing medical conditions. | 7 | Sequence Stratigraphy and Rudist Facies Development of the Upper Barremian-Lower Cenomanian Platform, Northern Sinai, Egypt显示文摘The Lower Cretaceous sections in northern Sinai are composed of the Risan Aneiza(upper Barremian-middle Albian) and the Halal(middle Albian-lower Cenomanian) formations. The facies reflect subtle paleobathymetry from inner to outer ramp facies. The inner ramp facies are peritidal, protected to open marine lagoons, shoals and rudist biostrome facies. The inner ramp facies grade northward into outer ramp deposits. The upper Barremian-lower Cenomanian succession is subdivided into nine depositional sequences correlated with those recognized in the neighbouring Tethyan areas. These sequences are subdivided into 19 medium-scale sequences based on the facies evolution, the recorded hardgrounds and flooding surfaces, interpreted as the result of eustatic sea level changes and local tectonic activities of the early Syrian Arc rifting stage. Each sequence contains a lower retrogradational parasequence set that constituted the transgressive systems tracts and an upper progradational parasequence set that formed the highstand systems tracts. Nine rudist levels are recorded in the upper Barremian through lower Cenomanian succession at Gabal Raghawi. At Gabal Yelleg two rudist levels are found in the Albian. | 8 | Strain hardening behavior, strain rate sensitivity and hot deformation maps of AISI 321 austenitic stainless steel显示文摘Hot compression tests were performed on AISI 321 austenitic stainless steel in the deformation temperature range of 800–1200℃ and constant strain rates of 0.001,0.01,0.1,and 1 s^(−1).Hot flow curves were used to determine the strain hardening exponent and the strain rate sensitivity exponent,and to construct the processing maps.Variations of the strain hardening exponent with strain were used to predict the microstructural evolutions during the hot deformation.Four variations were distinguished reflecting the different microstructural changes.Based on the analysis of the strain hardening exponent versus strain curves,the microstructural evolutions were dynamic recovery,single and multiple peak dynamic recrystallization,and interactions between dynamic recrystallization and precipitation.The strain rate sensitivity variations at an applied strain of 0.8 and strain rate of 0.1 s^(−1) were compared with the microstructural evolutions.The results demonstrate the existence of a reliable correlation between the strain rate sensitivity values and evolved microstructures.Additionally,the power dissipation map at the applied strain of 0.8 was compared with the resultant microstructures at predetermined deformation conditions.The microstructural evolutions strongly correlated to the power dissipation ratio,and dynamic recrystallization occurred completely at lower power dissipation ratios. | Mehdi Shaban Ghazani Beitallah Eghbali | 2021 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2021,28,11: | 2 |
| 9 | A New DCT Image Compression Algorithm Using Block Visual Activities显示文摘A new image compression algorithm is proposed based on local visual activity classification and the investigation of the histograms of the small non-overlapping blocks of the differential and angle image. Histograms of the differential blocks are classified according to their visual activities as Unimodal, Bimodal and Multimodal blocks. According to the histogram shape of the differential block and the mean angle of the same block an optimized quantization table with special coding is applied by taking the advantages of the local visual activities within the block.
