1Several issues worthy of attention in current lacustrine shale oil exploration and development显示文摘Based on the current research status of shale oil exploration and development at home and abroad,through field observations,dissection of typical shale oil regions,analysis and testing of organic-rich shale samples,etc.,we compare the differences in geological and engineering characteristics of shale oil reservoirs in marine and continental basins in China and the United States,put forward several issues worthy of attention in the exploration and development of lacustrine shale oil in typical basins of China,including the concept of tight oil and shale oil,vertical permeability and horizontal permeability,differences between continental and marine shale oil reservoirs,medium-low maturity and medium-high maturity,source-reservoir and source-caprock,geology and engineering,selection criteria of favorable areas and“sweet spots”,basic scientific research and application research.By comparing and analyzing organic-rich shales in the Triassic Yanchang Formation of the Ordos Basin,the Permian Lucaogou Formation in the Jimsar Sag of the Junggar Basin,the Permian Fengcheng Formation in the Mahu Sag,the Cretaceous Qingshankou&Nenjiang Formation in the Songliao Basin and the Paleogene Kongdian&Shahejie Formation in the Bohai Bay Basin,we believe that three key scientific issues must be studied in-depth from shale oil exploration to development in the future:(1)the physical,chemical and biological processes during the deposition of terrestrial fine-grained sediments and the formation mechanism of terrestrial organic-rich shale;(2)the dynamic evolution of diagenesis-hydrocarbon generation-reservoir formation,and the mechanisms of hydrocarbon formation and accumulation;(3)the fracturing mechanisms of terrestrial shale layers in different diagenetic stages and the multi-phase and multi-scale flow mechanism of shale oil in shale layers of different maturities.In addition,we should clarify the main controlling factors of shale oil reservoir characterization,oil-bearing properties,compressibility and fluidity of shale oil with different maturities,establish a lacustrine shale oil enrichment model and the evaluation methodology,to provide effective development methods,and ultimately to establish theoretical foundation and technical support for the large scale economical exploration and development of lacustrine shale oil resources in China.JIN Zhijun ZHU Rukai LIANG Xinping SHEN Yunqi 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,6:1

5Probiotic Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 protect chicks from damage caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis colonization显示文摘As a foodborne pathogen of global importance,Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis(S.Enteritidis)is a threat to public health that is mainly spread by poultry products.Intestinal Enterobacteriaceae can inhibit the colonization of S.Enteritidis and are regarded as a potential antibiotic substitute.We investigated,in chicks,the anti-S.Enteritidis effects of Escherichia coli(E.coli)Nissle 1917,the most wellknown probiotic member of Enterobacteriaceae.Eighty 1-d-old healthy female AA broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups,with 20 in each group,namely the negative control(group P),the E.coli Nissle 1917-treated group(group N),the S.Enteritidis-infected group(group S)and the E.coli Nissle1917-treated and S.Enteritidis-infected group(group NS).From d 5 to 7,chicks in groups N and NS were orally gavaged once a day with E.coli Nissle 1917 and in groups P and S were administered the same volume of sterile PBS.At d 8,the chicks in groups S and NS were orally gavaged with S.Enteritidis and in groups P and N were administered the same volume of sterile PBS.Sampling was conducted 24 h after challenge.Results showed that gavage of E.coli Nissle 1917 reduced the spleen index,Salmonella loads,and inflammation(P<0.05).It improved intestinal morphology and intestinal barrier function(P<0.05).S.Enteritidis infection significantly reduced mRNA expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)and solute carrier family 6-member 19(SLC6A19)in the cecum and the content of Gly,Ser,Gln,and Trp in the serum(P<0.05).Pretreatment with E.coli Nissle 1917 yielded mRNA expression of ACE2and SLC6A19 in the cecum and levels of Gly,Ser,Gln,and Trp in the serum similar to that of uninfected chicks(P<0.05).Additionally,E.coli Nissle 1917 altered cecum microbiota composition and enriched the abundance of E.coli,Lactobacillales,and Lachnospiraceae.These findings reveal that the probiotic E.coli Nissle 1917 reduced S.Enteritidis infection and shows enormous potential as an alternative to antibiotics.Shu Wu Qianyun Zhang Guanglei Cong Yunqi Xiao Yiru Shen Shan Zhang Wenchang Zhao Shourong Shi 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,3:0
6The marriage of dual-acceptor strategy and C-H activation polymerization:naphthalene diimide-based n-type polymers with adjustable molar mass and decent performance显示文摘The development of readily accessible high-mobility n-type semiconducting polymers is in great demand for realizing highperformance p-n junction-based organic electronics.In this study,we demonstrate that with the combination of dual-acceptor strategy and C-H direct arylation polymerization(DAr P),unipolar n-type semiconducting polymers can be conveniently synthesized.By tuning the monomer concentration,three dual-acceptor polymers,namely,poly(naphthalene diimide-alt-dithiophenyl pyrrolopyrrole-dione)(PNDI-DPP),poly(naphthalene diimide-alt-dithiophenyl isoindigo)(PNDI-IID),and poly(naphthalene diimide-alt-dithiophenyl bezothiadiazole)(PNDI-BT)can be obtained via C-H activation with decent number average molecular weight of~10 to 30 kg mol^(-1)and relatively narrow polydispersity index of~2.In addition,these polymers are defect-free in nature as evidenced by the nuclear magnetic resonance.Moreover,we attribute the different molar masses of the three copolymers under the same DAr P condition to the differentα-C-H acidity,which may stem from different electronwithdrawing capability of the hydrogenated acceptor units.Furthermore,the influence of the hydrogenated acceptor monomers on the optical,electrochemical and charge transporting properties is comprehensively studied.Among the three dual-acceptor polymers,PNDI-BT demonstrates the highest electron mobilities of up to 0.6 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1)in unipolar n-type organic transistors because of its relatively planar backbone,larger overlaps of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital and strong H-aggregation.Note that the transistor performance of PNDI-BT synthesized via C-H activation in this study is at least comparable to the one made by conventional C(sp^(2))-C(sp^(2))Stille or Suzuki cross-coupling polymerization.This study demonstrates the presented protocol can be a useful platform for sustainable and convenient synthesis of high-performance n-type semiconducting polymers.Ying-Han Zhao Wenhao Li Tao Shen Yan Zhao Yunqi Liu Yang Wang 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,2:0
7Crystal structures of catalytic core domain of BIV integrase: implications for the interaction between integrase and target DNA显示文摘Integrase plays a critical role in the recombination of viral DNA into the host genome.Therefore,over the past decade,it has been a hot target of drug design in the fight against type 1 human immunodeficiency virus(HIV-1).Bovine immunodeficiency virus(BIV)integrase has the same function as HIV-1 integrase.We have determined crystal structures of the BIV integrase catalytic core domain(CCD)in two different crystal forms at a resolution of 2.45Åand 2.2Å,respectively.In crystal form I,BIV integrase CCD forms a back-to-back dimer,in which the two active sites are on opposite sides.This has also been seen in many of the CCD structures of HIV-1 integrase that were determined previously.However,in crystal form II,BIV integrase CCD forms a novel face-toface dimer in which the two active sites are close to each other.Strikingly,the distance separating the two active sites is approximately 20Å,a distance that perfectly matches a 5-base pair interval.Based on these data,we propose a model for the interaction of integrase with its target DNA,which is also supported by many published biochemical data.Our results provide important clues for designing new inhibitors against HIV-1.Xue Yao Shasha Fang Wentao Qiao Yunqi Geng Yuequan Shen 2010Protein & Cell2010,1,4:0
8WLAN-log-based superspreader detection in the COVID-19 pandemic显示文摘Identifying“superspreaders”of disease is a pressing concern for society during pandemics such as COVID-19.Superspreaders represent a group of people who have much more social contacts than others.The widespread deployment of WLAN infrastructure enables non-invasive contact tracing via people’s ubiquitous mobile devices.This technology offers promise for detecting superspreaders.In this paper,we propose a general framework for WLAN-log-based superspreader detection.In our framework,we first use WLAN logs to construct contact graphs by jointly considering human symmetric and asymmetric interactions.Next,we adopt three vertex centrality mea-surements over the contact graphs to generate three groups of superspreader candidates.Finally,we leverage SEIR simulation to determine groups of superspreaders among these candidates,who are the most critical individuals for the spread of disease based on the simulation results.We have implemented our framework and evaluate it over a WLAN dataset with 41 million log entries from a large-scale university.Our evaluation shows superspread-ers exist on university campuses.They change over the first few weeks of a semester,but stabilize throughout the rest of the term.The data also demonstrate that both symmetric and asymmetric contact tracing can dis-cover superspreaders,but the latter performs better with daily contact graphs.Further,the evaluation shows no consistent differences among three vertex centrality measures for long-term(i.e.,weekly)contact graphs,which necessitates the inclusion of SEIR simulation in our framework.We believe our proposed framework and these results can provide timely guidance for public health administrators regarding effective testing,intervention,and vaccination policies.Cheng Zhang Yunze Pan Yunqi Zhang Adam C.Champion Zhaohui Shen Dong Xuan Zhiqiang Lin Ness B.Shroff 2021High-Confidence Computing2021,1,1:0
9Boron isotopic composition of Paleozoic brachiopod and coeval coral calcites in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, China显示文摘Boron isotope values in Paleozoic brachiopods and corals, collected from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, China, can be used to constrain the boron isotope compositions of past oceans. All brachiopod shells and coral samples were screened for diagenetic recrystallization by cathodoluminescence microscopy, trace element geochemistry of B, Fe, Mn, Sr, and scanning electron microscopy. The boron isotope ratios for brachiopods in Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, and Triassic calcites are in the ranges 8.9‰-14.0‰, 8.8‰-13.8‰, 10.3‰-16.3‰, and 6.7‰-12.4‰, respectively. The boron isotope ratios of coral calcites in the Silurian, Devonian, and Permian are 9.1‰-12.2‰, 6.1‰-13.8‰, and 9.2‰-16.1‰, respectively. The δ11B values for both brachiopods and corals are significantly lower than those for modern biogenic carbonates, indicating that the Paleozoic oceans were depleted of δ11B by up to 10‰. Our results are consistent with previous published studies. The boron isotope compositions of corals and brachiopods show the consistent trends.
