1Iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO_2 catalyst for low temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH_3显示文摘The catalysts of iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO 2(Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO 2) prepared by sol-gel method were investigated for low temperature selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO with NH 3.It was found that the NO conversion over Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO 2 was obviously improved after iron doping compared with that over Mn-Ce/TiO 2.Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO 2 with the molar ratio of Fe/Ti = 0.1 exhibited the highest activity.The results showed that 96.8% NO conversion was obtained over Fe(0.1)-Mn-Ce/TiO 2 at 180°C at a space velocity of 50,000 hr 1.Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO 2 exhibited much higher resistance to H 2 O and SO 2 than that of Mn-Ce/TiO 2.The properties of the catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),N 2 adsorption,temperature programmed desorption(NH 3-TPD and NOx-TPD),and Xray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) techniques.BET,NH3-TPD and NOx-TPD results showed that the specific surface area and NH3 and NOx adsorption capacity of the catalysts increased with iron doping.It was known from XPS analysis that iron valence state on the surface of the catalysts were in Fe3+ state.The doping of iron enhanced the dispersion and oxidation state of Mn and Ce on the surface of the catalysts.The oxygen concentrations on the surface of the catalysts were found to increase after iron doping.Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 represented a promising catalyst for low temperature SCR of NO with NH3 in the presence of H2 O and SO2.Boxiong Shen ,Ting Liu,Ning Zhao,Xiaoyan Yang,Lidan Deng College of Environmental Science and Engineering,Nankai University,Tianjin 300071,China. 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,9:63
2Raman Spectroscopy and Imaging of Graphene显示文摘Graphene has many unique properties that make it an ideal material for fundamental studies as well as for potential applications.Here we review recent results on the Raman spectroscopy and imaging of graphene.We show that Raman spectroscopy and imaging can be used as a quick and unambiguous method to determine the number of graphene layers.The strong Raman signal of single layer graphene compared to graphite is explained by an interference enhancement model.We have also studied the effect of substrates,the top layer deposition,the annealing process,as well as folding(stacking order)on the physical and electronic properties of graphene.Finally,Raman spectroscopy of epitaxial graphene grown on a SiC substrate is presented and strong compressive strain on epitaxial graphene is observed.The results presented here are highly relevant to the application of graphene in nano-electronic devices and help in developing a better understanding of the physical and electronic properties of graphene.Zhenhua Ni Yingying Wang Ting Yu Zexiang Shen 2008Nano Research2008,1,4:51
3Washed microbiota transplantation vs.manual fecal microbiota transplantation:clinical findings,animal studies and in vitro screening显示文摘Fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)by manual preparation has been applied to treat diseases for thousands of years.However,this method still endures safety risks and challenges the psychological endurance and acceptance of doctors,patients and donors.Population evidence showed the washed microbiota preparation with microfiltration based on an automatic purification system followed by repeated centrifugation plus suspension for three times significantly reduced FMT-related adverse events.This washing preparation makes delivering a precise dose of the enriched microbiota feasible,instead of using the weight of stool.Intraperitoneal injection in mice with the fecal microbiota supernatant obtained after repeated centrifugation plus suspension for three times induced less toxic reaction than that by the first centrifugation following the microfiltration.The toxic reactions that include death,the change in the level of peripheral white blood cells,and the proliferation of germinal center in secondary lymphoid follicles in spleen were noted.The metagenomic next-generation sequencing(NGS)indicated the increasing types and amount of viruses could be washed out during the washing process.Metabolomics analysis indicated metabolites with pro-inflammatory effects in the fecal microbiota supernatant such as leukotriene B4,corticosterone,and prostaglandin G2 could be removed by repeated washing.Near-infrared absorption spectroscopy could be served as a rapid detection method to control the quality of the washingprocess.In conclusion,this study for the first time provides evidence linking clinical findings and animal experiments to support that washed microbiota transplantation(WMT)is safer,more precise and more quality-controllable than the crude FMT by manual.Ting Zhang Gaochen Lu Zhe Zhao Yafei Liu Quan Shen Pan Li Yaoyao Chen Haoran Yin Huiquan Wang Cicilia Marcella Bota Cui Lei Cheng Guozhong Ji Faming Zhang 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,4:44
4Photo-curing 3D printing technique and its challenges显示文摘In recent ten years,3D printing technology has been developed rapidly.As an advanced technology,3D printing has been used to fabricate complex and high-precision objects in many fields.3D printing has several technologies.Among these technologies,photo-curing 3D printing was the earliest and most mature technology.In 1988,the first 3D printing machine which was based on photo-curing and called Stereo lithography Appearance(SLA)technology was produced by 3D system Corp.After 30 years of development,many new technologies based on photocuring mechanism emerged.Based on the different principle of pattern formation and character of printing technology,numerous photocuring 3D printing techniques,such as SLA,DLP,LCD,CLIP,MJP,twophoton 3D printing,holographic 3D printing and so on,have been developed.Photo-curing 3D printing has many advantages,such as high precision,smooth surface of printing objects,rapid printing speed and so on.Here,we would introduce five industrial photocuring 3D printing technologies,which are SLA,DLP,LCD,CLIP and MJP.The characters of the materials and the progress of the application of the technique in the biomedical field is also overviewed.At last,the difficulties and challenges of photo-curing 3D printing are also discussed.Haoyuan Quan Ting Zhang Hang Xu Shen Luo Jun Nie Xiaoqun Zhu 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,1:33
5A comparative study of Mn/CeO_2,Mn/ZrO_2 and Mn/Ce-ZrO_2 for low temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH_3 in the presence of SO_2 and H_2O显示文摘Ce-ZrO2 is a widely used three-way catalyst support.Because of the large surface area and excellent redox quality,Ce-ZrO2 may have potential application in selective catalytic reduction(SCR) systems.In the present work,Ce-ZrO2 was introduced into a low-temperature SCR system and CeO2 and ZrO2 supports were also introduced to make a contrastive study.Mn/CeO2,Mn/ZrO2 and Mn/Ce-ZrO2 were prepared by impregnating these supports with Mn(NO3)2 solution,and have been characterized by N2-BET,XRD,TPR,TPD,XPS,FT-IR and TG.The activity and resistance to SO2 and H2O of the catalysts were investigated.Mn/Ce-ZrO2 and Mn/CeO2 were proved to have better low-temperature activities than Mn/ZrO2,and yielded 98.6% and 96.8% NO conversion at 180°C,respectively.This is mainly because Mn/Ce-ZrO2 and Mn/CeO2 had higher dispersion of manganese oxides,better redox properties and more weakly adsorbed oxygen species than Mn/ZrO2.In addition,Mn/Ce-ZrO2 showed a good resistance to SO2 and H2O and presented 87.1% NO conversion,even under SO2 and H2O treatment for 6 hours,and the activity of Mn/Ce-ZrO2 was almost restored to its original level after cutting off the injection of SO2 and H2O.This was due to the weak water absorption and weak sulfation process on the surface of the catalyst.Boxiong Shen Xiaopeng Zhang Hongqing Ma Yan Yao Ting Liu 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,4:30

7Efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 therapeutic antibody RC48 in patients with HER2-overexpressing,locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:a single-arm phase II study显示文摘Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical benefit.Further,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative patients.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 weeks.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review committee.Secondary endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and safety.Results:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 treatment.The ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),respectively.The most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not RC48-related.Conclusions:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy.Zhi Peng Tianshu Liu Jia Wei Airong Wang Yifu He Liuzhong Yang Xizhi Zhang Nanfeng Fan Suxia Luo Zhen Li Kangsheng Gu Jianwei Lu Jianming Xu Qingxia Fan Ruihua Xu Liangming Zhang Enxiao Li Yuping Sun Guohua Yu Chunmei Bai Yong Liu Jiangzheng Zeng Jieer Ying Xinjun Liang Nong Xu Chao Gao Yongqian Shu Dong Ma Guanghai Dai Shengmian Li Ting Deng Yuehong Cui Jianmin Fang Yi Ba Lin Shen 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,11:29

10Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 13In vitro Anthocyanin Induction and Metabolite Analysis in Malus spectabilis Leaves Under Low Nitrogen Conditions显示文摘Anthocyanins are the most widely produced secondary metabolites in plants,and they play an important role in plant growth and reproduction.The nitrogen source is an important factor affecting anthocyanin production,but the nitrogen concentrations on metabolism and the underlying genetic basis remain unclear.In this study,in vitro anthocyanin induction was conducted on Malus spectabilis.The leaf explants were cultivated in media containing different nitrogen concentrations.The results suggested that when the nitrogen contents decreased in limit,the color of leaf explants turned from green to red,and increased anthocyanin accumulation led to a change in phenotype.Furthermore,the content of other flavonoids,such as dihydroquercetin,epicatechin,and catechin,increased under low nitrogen conditions.The transcription levels of the general flavonoid pathway genes,from phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)to anthocyanidin synthase(ANS),were associated with the concentration of corresponding flavonoid compounds and phenotype changes.In particular,the expression level of ANS increased substantially under a low nitrogen treatment,which was significantly and positively correlated with the anthocyanin levels(R2=0.72,P<0.05).The increased expression patterns of anthocyanin pathway genes were similar to that of the transcription factor MYB10.We further verified MYB10 played an important role in the anthocyanin pathway in leaves of Malus spectabilis.These results suggested that we can improve the desirable ornamental plant phenotypes by controlling nitrogen content.This process may offer clues to further development of new agricultural practices.Jiaxin Meng Yan Gao Meiling Han Pengyuan Liu Chen Yang Ting Shen Houhua Li 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,5:13

16DISTRIBUTION OF CARBONACEOUS AEROSOL DURING SPRING 2005 OVER THE HORQIN SANDLAND IN NORTHEASTERN CHINA显示文摘The objective of this study was to characterize the elemental carbon and organic carbon (EC and OC, respectively) content of aerosol particles (PM2.5) collected at Tongliao, a site in the Horqin Sandland of northeastern China. During spring 2005, the PM2.5 mass concentration was 126±71 μg?m-3, with higher dust concentrations during five dust storms than on non-dusty days (255±77 vs. 106±44 μg?m-3). The average OC and EC concentrations in PM2.5 de-termined by a thermal/optical reflectance method were 15.7±7.3 μg?m-3 and 3.3±1.7 μg?m-3, respectively, and carbona-ceous aerosol accounted for 9.9% of the PM2.5 mass during dust storms compared to 21.7% on normal days. The aver-age ratios of OC to EC during dust storms were similar to those on non-dusty days, and the correlation coefficient be-tween OC and EC was high, 0.86. 17Comparative analysis of the complete chloroplast genome among Prunus mume,P.armeniaca,and P.salicina显示文摘Prunus mume Sieb.et Zucc.,P.armeniaca L.,and P.salicina L.are economically important fruit trees in temperate regions.These species are taxonomically perplexing because of shared interspecific morphological traits and variation,which are mainly attributed to hybridization.The chloroplast is cytoplasmically inherited and often used for evolutionary studies.We sequenced the complete chloroplast genomes of P.mume,P.armeniaca,and P.salicina using Illumina sequencing followed by de novo assembly.The three chloroplast genomes exhibit a typical quadripartite structure with conserved genome arrangement,structure,and moderate divergence.The lengths of the genomes are 157,815,157,797,and 157,916 bp,respectively.The length of the large single-copy region(LSC)region is 86,113,86,283,and 86,122 bp,and the length of the SSC region is 18,916,18,734,and 19,028 bp;the IR region is 26,393,26,390,and 26,383 bp,respectively.Each of the three chloroplast genomes encodes 133 genes,including 94 protein-coding,31 tRNA,and eight rRNA genes.Differential gene analysis for the three species revealed that trnY-ATA is a unique gene in P.armeniaca;in contrast,the gene trnI-TAT is only present in P.mume and P.salicina,though the position of the gene in these chloroplast genomes differs.Further comparative analysis of the complete chloroplast genome sequences revealed that the ORF genes and the sequences of linked regions rps16 and atpA,atpH and atpI,trnc-GCA and psbD,ycf3 and atpB,and rpL32 and ndhD are significantly different and may be used as molecular markers in taxonomic studies.Phylogenetic evolution analysis of the three species suggests that P.mume has a closer genetic relationship to P.armeniaca than to P.salicina.Song Xue Ting Shi Wenjie Luo Xiaopeng Ni Shahid Iqbal Zhaojun Ni Xiao Huang Dan Yao Zhijun Shen Zhihong Gao 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:10
18Top-grain filling characteristics at an early stage of maize(Zea mays L.) with different nitrogen use efficiencies显示文摘Maize genotypes vary significantly in their nitrogen use efficiencies(NUEs).Better understanding of early grain filling characteristics of maize is important,especially for maize with different NUEs.The objectives of this research were(i)to investigate the difference in apical kernel development of maize with different NUEs,(ii)to determine the reaction of apical kernel development to N application levels,and(iii)to evaluate the relationship between apical kernel development and grain yield(GY)for different genotypes of maize.Three maize hybrid varieties with different NUEs were cultivated in a field with different levels of N fertilizer arranged during two growing seasons.Kernel fresh weight(KFW),volume(KV)and dry weight(KDW)of apical kernel were evaluated at an early grain filling stage.Ear characteristics,GY and its components were determined at maturity stage.Apical kernel of the high N and high efficiency(HN-HE)type(under low N,the yield is lower,and under higher N,the yield is higher)developed better under high N(N210 and N240,pure N of 210 and 240 kg ha^(–1))than at low N(N120 and N140,pure N of 120 and 140 kg ha^(–1)).The low N and high efficiency(LN-HE)type(under low N,the yield is higher,while under higher N,the yield is not significantly higher)developed better under low N than at high N.The double high efficiency(D-HE)type(for both low and high N,the yield is higher)performed well under both high and low N.Apical kernel reacted differently to the N supply.Apical kernel developed well at an early grain filling stage and resulted in a higher kernel number(KN),kernel weight(KW)and GY with better ear characteristics at maturity.SHEN Li-xia HUANG Yan-kai LI Ting 2017Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,3:10
19BRAF^(V600E) vs. TIRADS in predicting papillary thyroid cancers in Bethesda system Ⅰ, Ⅲ, and Ⅴ nodules显示文摘Objective: Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology(BSRTC) categories Ⅰ, Ⅲ, and Ⅴaccount for a significant proportion of fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC) diagnoses. This study aimed to compare the diagnostic efficacy of BRAF^(V600E) mutation and the Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System(TIRADS) classification in differentiating papillary thyroid cancers(PTCs) from benign lesions among BSRTC I, III, and V nodules.Methods: A total of 472 patients with 479 nodules were enrolled in this prospective study. Ultrasound, BRAF^(V600E) mutation testing, and FNAC were performed in each nodule, followed by surgery or regular ultrasound examination.Results: In the BSRTC I category, BRAF^(V600E) showed similar sensitivity, higher specificity, and lower accuracy when compared with TIRADS. In the BSRTC III/V category, the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of BRAF^(V600E) were similar to those of TIRADS. In comparison to BRAF^(V600E) alone, the combination of the two methods significantly improved sensitivity(BSRTC Ⅰ:93.6% vs. 67.7%, P < 0.01; BSRTC Ⅲ: 93.8% vs. 75.0%, P < 0.01; BSRTC V: 96.0% vs. 85.3%, P < 0.001). When compared with TIRADS alone, the combination improved sensitivity in BSRTC Ⅰ nodules(93.6% vs. 74.2%, P < 0.05), increased sensitivity and decreased accuracy in BSRTC III nodules(93.8% vs. 75.0%, P < 0.01, 91.0% vs. 93.6%, P < 0.01), and improved both sensitivity and accuracy in BSRTC V nodules(96.0% vs. 82.0%, P < 0.001; 94.2% vs. 81.3%, P < 0.001).Conclusions: BRAF^(V600E) exhibited higher specificity and lower accuracy compared with TIRADS in BSRTC Ⅰ nodules, while the two methods showed similar diagnostic value in BSRTC Ⅲ/Ⅴ nodules.
