2Transcriptome analysis of purple pigment formation in Colocasia esculenta显示文摘Taro(Colocasia esculenta(L.)Schott)is an important crop in Africa,Southeast Asia,and subtropics and is used as a food and medicine.The purple color pigmentation is an appealing character in taro.We sampled taro corms of the cultivar‘Lipu Taro’at four developmental stages,including LPYS1(without purple pigment,50 days of development(DOD)),LPYS2(very few purple pigments,75 DOD),LPYS3(moderate purple pigments,115 DOD)and LPYS4(high purple pigments,205 DOD).The purpose of our study was to identify the key genes underpinning the purple pigmentation in taro based on RNA-sequencing.Through RNA-Seq,6453 differentially expressed transcripts(DETs)were identified between purple and non-purple pigmented samples.We identified 41 and 12 flavonoid and anthocyanin related DETs transcripts,respectively.These DETs were upregulated at LPYS2,LPYS3,and LPYS4 as compared to LPYS1,indicating their positive contribution to the color formation in taro.Moreover,we identified several DETs encoding for transcription factors,including MYB and bHLH,known to be major regulators of structural genes involved in the flavonoid-anthocyanin pathway.Finally,we reported several plant hormones(ethylene,auxin,gibberellin,jasmonic acid,and cytokinin)related DETs,which are predicted to play important roles in the corm coloration.Different regulation of transcripts representing the flavonoid-anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway,plant hormone transduction pathway,and transcription factors may have key roles in purple pigmentation in taro.Our findings will facilitate future research on improving the quality and appeal of taro.FANGLIAN HE WEIQING DONG SHAOLONG WEI ZUYANG QIU JINGLI HUANG HUIPING JIANG SHIYU HUANG LILI LIU 2021BIOCELL2021,45,3:2
3Simple Double Hetero[5]helicenes Realize Highly Efficient and Narrowband Circularly Polarized Organic Light-Emitting Diodes显示文摘Helicene-based emitters with unique inherent circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)are promising yet remain a formidable challenge for highly efficient circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes(CP-OLEDs),ascribed to their tough synthesis,low emission efficiency,and easy racemization in the thermal deposition process.Herein,a pair of helicenebased enantiomers,namely(P)-helicene-BN and(M)-helicene-BN,were developed,which merge helical chirality and the B/N/S inserted polycyclic aromatic framework to concurrently feature CPL and narrow thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)characteristics.Benefiting from the excellent thermal/photophysical/chiroptical properties,the narrowband green CP-OLEDs based on enantiomers achieved maximum external quantum efficiencies(EQE_(max))of up to 31.5%,and dissymmetry factor(|g_(EL)|)of 2.2×10^(−3).This work reveals the great potential of helicene-based emitters in CP-OLEDs.Wei Yang Nengquan Li Jingsheng Miao Lisi Zhan Shaolong Gong Zhongyan Huang Chuluo Yang 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,11:1

5The dielectric behavior and efficient microwave absorption of doped nanoscale LaMnO_(3)at elevated temperature显示文摘LaMnO_(3)perovskite has great potential in microwave absorption at high temperature due to its complex doping effect and super stability.The current research mainly focuses on the doping ratio regulation,while the mechanism of doping effect at high temperature is still lack of sufficient investigation.In this work,La1−xSrxMn1−yFeyO_(3)(LaMnO_(3),La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3),and La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3))nanostructures with different doping sites were successfully prepared by the solid phase reaction method.Then,the high temperature dielectric test samples were obtained by mixing with cordierite(2MgO·2Al_(2)O_(3)·5SiO_(2)(MAS)).The results showed that the temperature dependence of Mn ion spin state had a significant impact on the high temperature dielectric behavior of La_(1−x)Sr_(x)Mn_(1−y)FeyO_(3).Particularly,when the thickness is only 1.9 mm,La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3)/MAS can achieve the widest bandwidth of 4.2 GHz covered the entire X-band(8.2–12.4 GHz)and a minimum reflection loss(RL)value of−17.99 dB at 500℃.In order to improve the operating temperature of La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3)/MAS,a cellular array structure was designed by using computer simulation technology(CST)software to introduce magnetic loss.When the outer length of the hexagon is 1 mm and the coating thickness is 1.9 mm,the widest bandwidth covers the X-band and the minimum RL value is−15.35 dB at 800℃.Therefore,La_(0.7)Sr_(0.3)Mn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3)has a great prospect as an efficient high temperature microwave absorber.Zhigang Mu Guoke Wei Hang Zhang Lu Gao Yue Zhao Shaolong Tang Guangbin Ji 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:1
6A KELM-Based Ensemble Learning Approach for Exchange Rate Forecasting显示文摘In this paper, a KELM-based ensemble learning approach, integrating Granger causality test, grey relational analysis and KELM(Kernel Extreme Learning Machine), is proposed for the exchange rate forecasting. The study uses a set of sixteen macroeconomic variables including, import,export, foreign exchange reserves, etc. Furthermore, the selected variables are ranked and then three of them, which have the highest degrees of relevance with the exchange rate, are filtered out by Granger causality test and the grey relational analysis, to represent the domestic situation. Then, based on the domestic situation, KELM is utilized for medium-term RMB/USD forecasting. 7Single-atom catalysts modified by molecular groups for electrochemical nitrogen reduction显示文摘Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(eNRR)is one of the most important chemical reactions for the production of ammonia under ambient environment.However,the lack of in-depth understanding of the structure-activity relationship impedes the development of high-performance catalysts for ammonia production.Herein,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations are performed to reveal the structure–activity relationship for the single-atom catalysts(SACs)supported on g-C_(3)N_(4),which is modified by molecular groups(i.e.,H,O,and OH).The computational results demonstrate that the W-based SACs are beneficial to produce ammonia with a low limiting potential(UL).Particularly,the W-OH@g-C_(3)N_(4) catalyst exhibits an ultralow UL of−0.22 V for eNRR.And the competitive eNRR selectivity can be identified by the dominant*N2 adsorption free energy than that of*H.Our findings provide a theoretical basis for the synthesis of efficient catalysts to produce ammonia.Zengxi Wei Yuchang Liu Hongjie Liu Shaopeng Wang Minchen Hou Liwei Wang Dong Zhai Shuangliang Zhao Kefu Yu Shaolong Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0

11Preoperative virtual reduction method for pelvic fractures based on statistical shape models and partial surface data显示文摘Virtual reduction is crucial for successful and accurate reduction of pelvic fractures.Various methods have been proposed in this regard.However,not all of them are applicable to every pelvic fracture.Among these methods,the efficiency and accuracy of the method based on statistical shape models in clinical applications require further improvement.This study proposes a virtual reduction method for pelvic fractures that uses statistical shape models and partial surface data of a broken pelvis.Simulated fracture and clinical case experiments were conducted to validate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.The simulated fracture experiments yielded an average error of 1.57±0.39 mm and a maximum error of 12.82±3.54 mm.The virtual reduction procedure takes approximately 40 s.Based on three clinical case experiments,the proposed method achieves an acceptable level of accuracy compared with manual reduction by a surgeon.The proposed method offers the advantages of shorter virtual reduction times and satisfactory reduction accuracy.In the future,it will be integrated into the preoperative planning system for pelvic fracture reduction,thereby improving patient outcomes.Wei Kou Yaoyao He Xiao Cheng Zhewei Wang Yuan Yang Shaolong Kuang 2023Biomimetic Intelligence & Robotics2023,3,4:0
