1中国多维贫困测量:估计和政策含义显示文摘本文采用Alkireand Foster于2007年开发的多维贫困测量方法,利用2006年中国健康与营养调查数据,对中国城市和农村家庭多维贫困进行了测量。测量结果表明,中国城市和农村家庭都存在收入之外的多维贫困,城市和农村近1/5的家庭存在收入之外任意3个维度的贫困。中国城市和农村的贫困状况远远高于国家统计局以收入为标准测量的贫困发生率。维度分解结果表明,卫生设施、健康保险和教育对多维贫困指数的贡献最大。对样本地区的分解结果表明,贵州省多维贫困指数最高。城乡分解结果表明,黑龙江和广西的城市多维贫困比较突出。因此,中国下一个十年(2011~2020年)扶贫开发纲要应从多维度识别和瞄准贫困。王小林 Sabina Alkire 2009中国农村经济2009,,12:507

3Clinical and experimental research in antituberculosis drug-induced hepatotoxicity:a review显示文摘Drug-induced liver injury is the common adverse effect seen in patients receiving antituberculosis drugs(ATDs). There are several risk factors associated with the development of hepatotoxicity in such patients. Though there have been appreciable efforts taken by carrying out studies investigating the efficacy of several natural and synthetic compounds in minimising this effect, the only choice available for clinicians is withdrawal of drugs. 5Systemic interleukin-9 in inflammatory bowel disease: Association with mucosal healing in ulcerative colitis显示文摘AIM To evaluate circulating IL9 in inflammatory bowel disease and disease-associated anemia/cachexia and assess its potential as a mucosal healing marker.METHODS Serum IL9 as well as other cytokines(IL1β, IL6, IL13, IFNγ, TNFα, and VEGF-A) were determined in 293 individuals: 97 patients with Crohn's disease(CD) and 74 with ulcerative colitis(UC) and in 122 apparently healthy controls. The clinical activity of CD and UC was expressed in terms of the Crohn's Disease Activity Index(CDAI) and the Mayo Scoring System(MDAI), respectively, and the severity of bowel inflammation in UC patients was assessed using Mayo endoscopic score. Cytokine concentrations were measured by a flow cytometry-based method using Luminex x MAP? technology. Highsensitive C-reactive protein concentrations(hs CRP) were determined in CD and UC patients using the enhanced immunoturbidimetric method.RESULTS Systemic IL9 was significantly lower in healthy individuals [9 pg/m L(95%CI: 8.2-10)] than in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD): both inactive [14.3 pg/m L(11.9-19.9)] and active [27.6 pg/m L(24.5-32), P < 0.0001]. Cytokine concentrations were significantly higher in active CD [27.4 pg/m L(23.4-32.2)] and in active UC [32.7 pg/m L(27-38.9)] compared to inactive diseases [15.9 pg/m L(10.8-23.4) in CD and 19.4 pg/m L(13.9-27.1) in UC, P = 0.001]. IL9 correlated weakly with CDAI(ρ = 0.32, P = 0.003) and MDAI(ρ = 0.35, P = 0.002) and strongly with endoscopic inflammation in UC(ρ = 0.74, P < 0.0001). As a negative marker of mucosal healing(MH), IL9 had an accuracy superior to hs CRP and IL6 [97%(P < 0.0001), 67%(P = 0.071), and 55%(P = 0.525), respectively]. IL9 was significantly higher in cachectic IBD patients [30.25 pg/m L(24.4-37.5) vs 21.88 pg/m L(18-26.5), P = 0.026] and negatively correlated with hemoglobin concentrations(ρ =-0.27, P < 0.001). 6阿尔茨海默病发病与淀粉样β蛋白1~42/α1-抗糜蛋白酶复合物及脂质代谢紊乱的关系显示文摘目的:研究淀粉样β蛋白(Aβ)1~42与α1-抗糜蛋白酶(antichymotrypsin,ACT)形成的复合物对神经胶质瘤细胞(DK-MG)脂质代谢的影响,探索脂质代谢紊乱与阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimerdisease,AD)发病机制的相关性。方法:实验于2001-01/2002-03在瑞典隆德大学附属马尔默医院Wallenberg实验室和首都医科大学宣武医院神经内科实验室完成,Aβ1~42与ACT溶液室温下以10∶1摩尔比混合孵育2h,琼脂糖凝胶电泳和Western-blot检测反应产物Aβ1~42/ACT。观察在Aβ1~42/ACT存在的条件下,细胞对低密度脂蛋白(low-densitylipoprotein,LDL)的摄取、降解和细胞内胆固醇的合成;红油O染色观察细胞内脂质的含量;RT-PCR检测LDL受体(LDLr)的mRNA表达水平。结果:Aβ1~42,ACT单克隆抗体染色证实Aβ1~42/ACT复合物的存在。与对照组细胞相比,Aβ1~42/ACT使细胞摄取LDL增加50%(t=10.30,P<0.01),胞内脂质颗粒增加20倍(t=6.84,P<0.05),LDLr的mR-NA水平增加48%(t=20.79,P<0.01)。相反,Aβ1~42,ACT单分子对上述脂质代谢过程没有显著影响。Aβ1~42,ACT,Aβ1~42/ACT对LDL降解、细胞内胆固醇的合成都没有影响。结论:Aβ1~42/ACT复合物使神经胶质细胞内的脂质累积增加,可能是LDLr表达上调增加LDL摄取的结果。脂质代谢紊乱是AD发病的假说之?孙永馨 贾建平 Sabina Janciauskiene 2005中国临床康复2005,9,9:7
7Piperine,an active ingredient of black pepper attenuates acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in mice显示文摘Objective:To explore the hepatoprotective and antioxidant effects of piperine against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity in mice.Methods:In mice,hepatotoxicity was induced by a single dose of acetaminophen(900 mg/kg b.w.i.p.).Piperine(25 mg/kg b.w.i.p.) and standard drug silymarin(25 mg/kg b.w.i.p.) were given to mice,30 min after the single injection of acetaminophen.After 4 h,the mice were decapitated.Activities of liver marker enzymes [(aspartate transaminase(AST),alanine transaminase(ALT),and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)]and inflammatory mediator tumour necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) were estimated in serum,while lipid peroxidation and antioxidant status(superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase, glutathione reductase,glutathione-s-transferase and glutathione) were determined in liver homogenate of control and experimental mice.Results:Acetaminophen induction(900 mg/kg b.w.i.p.) significantly increased the levels of liver marker enzymes,TNF-α,and lipid peroxidation,and caused the depletion of antioxidant status.Piperine and silymarin treatment to acetaminophen challenged mice resulted in decreased liver marker enzymes activity,TNF-αand lipid peroxidation levels with increase in antioxidant status.Conclusions:The results clearly demonstrate that piperine shows promising hepatoprotective effect as comparable to standard drug silymarin.Evan Prince Sabina Annie Deborah Harris Souriyan Deborah Jackline Mahaboob Khan Rasool 2010Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,12:7

11Immunohistochemical evaluation of vitamin D receptor(VDR) expression in cutaneous melanoma tissues and four VDR gene polymorphisms显示文摘Objective:Vitamin D receptor(VDR)mediates vitamin D activity.We examined whether VDR expression in excised melanoma tissues is associated with VDR gene(VDR)polymorphisms.Methods:We evaluated VDR protein expression(by monoclonal antibody immunostaining),melanoma characteristics,and carriage of VDR-Fok I-rs2228570(C>T),VDR-Bsm I-rs1544410(G>A),VDR-ApaI-rs7975232(T>G),and VDR-TaqI-rs731236(T>C)polymorphisms(by restriction fragment length polymorphism).Absence or presence of restriction site was denoted by a capital or lower letter,respectively:'F'and'f'for Fok I,'B'and'b'for Bsm I,'A'and'a'for ApaI,and 'T'and't'for TaqI endonuclease.Seventy-four Italian cutaneous primary melanomas(52.1±12.7 years old)were studied;51.4% were stage Ⅰ,21.6% stage Ⅱ ,13.5% stage Ⅲ,and 13.5% stage Ⅳ melanomas.VDR expression was categorized as follows:100% positive vs.<100%;over the median 20%(high VDR expression)vs.≤20%(low VDR expression);absence vs.presence of VDR-expressing cells.Results:Stage I melanomas,Breslow thickness of<1.00 mm,level II Clark invasion,Aa heterozygous genotype,and AaTT combined genotype were more frequent in melanomas with high vs.low VDR expression.Combined genotypes BbAA,bbAa,AATt,BbAATt,and bbAaTT were more frequent in 100%vs.<100%VDR-expressing cells.Combined genotype AATT was more frequent in melanomas lacking VDR expression(odds ratio=14.5;P=0.025).VDR expression was not associated with metastasis,ulceration,mitosis>1,regression,tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes,tumoral infiltration of vascular tissues,additional skin and non-skin cancers,and melanoma familiarity.Conclusions:We highlighted that VDR polymorphisms can affect VDR expression in excised melanoma cells.Low VDR expression in AATT carriers is a new finding that merits further study.VDR expression possibly poses implications for vitamin D supplementation against melanoma.VDR expression and VDR genotype may become precise medicinal tools for melanoma in the future.Francesco La Marra Giuseppe Stinco Cinzia Buligan Giovanni Chiriacò Diego Serraino Carla Di Loreto Sabina Cauci 2017Cancer Biology & Medicine2017,14,2:5
12The effect of acupuncture on mood and working memory in patients with depression and schizophrenia显示文摘BACKGROUND: In patients with depression, as well as in patients with schizophrenia, both mood and working memory performance are often impaired. Both issues can only be addressed and improved with medication to some extent.OBJECTIVE: This study investigates the mood and the working memory performance in patients with depression or schizophrenia and whether acupuncture can improve these.DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS: A pragmatic clinical trial design was used. The study was conducted in a psychiatric clinic. Fifty patients with depression and 50 with schizophrenia were randomly divided into an experimental and a waiting-list group. Additionally, 25 healthy control participants were included. Twelve weeks of individualized acupuncture treatment was used as the clinical intervention. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: All patients were tested before(T1) and after(T2) acupuncture treatment on a mood scale(Beck Depression Inventory-II, BDI-II), a simple working memory task(digit span), and a complex working memory task(letter-number sequencing); the healthy controls were tested at T1 only.RESULTS: Patients with depression scored worse than the others on the BDI-II, and patients with schizophrenia scored worse than the healthy controls. On the digit span, patients with schizophrenia did not differ from healthy controls whereas they scored worse of all on the letter-number sequencing. With respect to the acupuncture fi ndings, fi rst, the present study showed that the use of acupuncture to treat patients with schizophrenia was both practical and safe. 14Tetracycline-inducible protein expression in pancreatic cancer cells: Effects of CapG overexpression显示文摘AIM: To establish stable tetracycline-inducible pancreatic cancer cell lines. METHODS: Suit-2, MiaPaca-2, and Panc-1 cells were transfected with a second generation reverse tetracycline-controlled transactivator protein (rtTA2S-M2), under the control of either a cytomegalovirus (CMV) or a chicken β-actin promoter, and the resulting clones were characterised.RESULTS: Use of the chicken (β-actin) promoter proved superior for both the production and maintenance of doxycycline-inducible cell lines. The system proved versatile, enabling transient inducible expression of a variety of genes, including GST-P, CYP2E1, S100A6, and the actin capping protein, CapG. To determine the physiological utility of this system in pancreatic cancer cells, stable inducible CapG expressors were established. Overexpressed CapG was localised to the cytoplasm and the nuclear membrane, but was not observed in the nucleus. High CapG levels were associated with enhanced motility, but not with changes to the cell cycle, or cellular proliferation. In CapG-overexpressing cells, the levels and phosphorylation status of other actin-moduating proteins (Cofilin and Ezrin/Radixin) were not altered. However, preliminary analyses suggest that the levels of other cellular proteins, such as ornithine aminotransferase and enolase, are altered upon CapG induction. 15Moutan Cortex Radicis inhibits the nigrostriatal damage in a 6-OHDA-induced Parkinson's disease model显示文摘The traditionally used oriental herbal medicine Moutan Cortex Radicis [MCR; Paeonia Suffruticosa Andrews(Paeoniaceae)] exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, and analgesic effects. In the present study, we investigated the therapeutic effects of differently fractioned MCR extracts in a 6-hydroxydopamine(OHDA)-induced Parkinson's disease model and neuro-blastoma B65 cells. Ethanol-extracted MCR was fractionated by n-hexane, butanol, and distilled water. Adult Sprague-Dawley rats were treated first with 20 μg of 6-OHDA, followed by three MCR extract fractions(100 or 200 mg·kg^(-1)) for 14 consecutive days. In the behavioral rotation experiment, the MCR extract-treated groups showed significantly decreased number of net turns compared with the 6-OHDA control group. The three fractions also significantly inhibited the reduction in tyrosine hydroxylase-positive cells in the substantia nigra pars compacta following 6-OHDA neurotoxicity. Western blotting analysis revealed significantly reduced tyrosine hydroxylase expression in the substantia nigra pars compacta in the 6-OHDA-treated group, which was significantly inhibited by the n-hexane or distilled water fractions of MCR. B65 cells were exposed to the extract fractions for 24 h prior to addition of 6-OHDA for 30 min; treatment with n-hexane or distilled water fractions of MCR reduced apoptotic cell death induced by 6-OHDA neurotoxicity and inhibited nitric oxide production and neuronal nitric oxide synthase expression. 17对香豆酸对佐剂性关节炎大鼠的抗过氧化作用(英文)显示文摘目的:研究对香豆酸,一种食物中含有的酚酸对佐剂性关节炎大鼠的抗过氧化治疗作用。方法:大鼠右后肢脚垫皮内注射0.1mL弗氏完全佐剂诱发关节炎。于佐剂注射后第11~18天连续给药8d,治疗组用药为对香豆酸(100mg/kg大鼠体质量,腹腔内给药),阳性对照组药物为吲哚美辛(3mg/kg大鼠体质量,腹腔内给药)。对佐剂性关节炎大鼠的肝脏、脾脏、血浆内脂质过氧化作用水平和抗氧化水平的变化进行测量,同时分析大鼠后肢的影像学改变以衡量对香豆酸的抗氧化作用。结果:佐剂性关节炎大鼠经对香豆酸治疗后,脂质过氧化作用和抗氧化水平恢复近正常值。影像学观察发现,治疗组大鼠的软组织肿胀、骨侵蚀及关节间隙狭窄情况得到缓解。结论:对香豆酸对佐剂性关节炎大鼠有明显的治疗作用,这种治疗作用可能与其抗氧化作用相关。Samuel Joshua Pragasam Vachana Murunikara Evan Prince Sabina Mahaboobkhan Rasool 2012中西医结合学报2012,10,8:4
18含乙醇酸、水杨酸、辛酰水杨酸和烟酰胺的外用配方改善轻、中度痤疮症状的临床观察显示文摘目的:评价含乙醇酸、水杨酸、辛酰水杨酸和烟酰胺的外用配方改善轻、中度痤疮临床症状的有效性和安全性。方法:招募66例轻、中度女性痤疮患者,按要求使用测试产品28 d后停用14 d,分别在使用前、使用7 d和28 d以及停用7 d和14 d后由皮肤科医生进行痤疮皮损计数、痤疮炎症后红斑和色素沉着计数、毛孔可见度和肤色均匀度评级,拍摄面部标准照片并进行图像分析,并由患者完成自我评价问卷。结果:共有42例患者完成全部试验。与使用前相比,测试产品在使用后7 d和28 d能显著减少非炎性和炎性皮损数量,改善毛孔可见度和肤色均匀度,并且在停用后14 d内仍能维持效果。此外,测试产品对于肤色、红斑程度/面积及血流灌注等图像分析指标也有显著的改善作用。患者对测试产品耐受良好,表现出了较高的满意度和持续使用的意愿。结论:含乙醇酸、水杨酸、辛酰水杨酸和烟酰胺的外用配方对于改善轻、中度痤疮临床症状具有较好的有效性和安全性,减少皮损同时能减轻痤疮炎症后红斑和色素沉着并改善肤质和肤色。李舒婷 何晓峰 张中兴 Julie CRIBIER Sabina MERALLI-BALLOU Andrew STEEL 鞠强 牛悦青 2022临床皮肤科杂志2022,51,3:4
19Keratinocytes costimulate naive human T cells via CD2: a potential target to prevent the development of proinflammatory Th1 cells in the skin显示文摘The interplay between keratinocytes and immune cells,especially T cells,plays an important role in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory skin diseases.During psoriasis,keratinocytes attract T cells by releasing chemokines,while skin-infiltrating selfreactive T cells secrete proinflammatory cytokines,e.g.,IFN γand IL-17A,that cause epidermal hyperplasia.Similarly,in chronic graftversus-host disease,allogenic IFN γ-producing Th1/Tc1 and IL-17-producing Th17/Tc17 cells are recruited by keratinocyte-derived chemokines and accumulate in the skin.However,whether keratinocytes act as nonprofessional antigen-presenting cells to directly activate naive human T cells in the epidermis remains unknown.Here,we demonstrate that under proinflammatory conditions,primary human keratinocytes indeed activate naive human T cells.This activation required cell contact and costimulatory signaling via CD58/CD2 and CD54/LFA-1.Naive T cells costimulated by keratinocytes selectively differentiated into Th1 and Th17 cells.In particular,keratinocyte-initiated Th1 differentiation was dependent on costimulation through CD58/CD2.The latter molecule initiated STAT1 signaling and IFN γproduction in T cells.Costimulation of T cells by keratinocytes resulting in Th1 and Th17 differentiation represents a new explanation for the local enrichment of Th1 and Th17 cells in the skin of patients with a chronic inflammatory skin disease.Consequently,local interference with T cell–keratinocyte interactions may represent a novel strategy for the treatment of Th1 and Th17 cell-driven skin diseases.Christian Orlik Daniel Deibel Johanna Küblbeck Emre Balta Sabina Ganskih Jüri Habicht Beate Niesler Jutta Schröder-Braunstein Knut Schäkel Guido Wabnitz Yvonne Samstag 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,4:4
20Efficacy of boswellic acid on lysosomal acid hydrolases,lipid peroxidation and anti-oxidant status in gouty arthritic mice显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of boswellic acid against monosodium urate crystal-induced inflammation in mice.Methods:The mice were divided into four experimental groups.GroupⅠserved as control;mice in groupⅡwere injected with monosodium urate crystal;groupⅢconsisted of monosodium urate crystal-induced mice who were treated with boswellic acid(30mg/kg/b.w.);groupⅣcomprised monosodium urate crystal-induced mice who were treated with indomethacin(3mg/kg/b.w.).Paw volume and levels/activities of lysosomal enzymes,lipid peroxidation,anti-oxidant status and inflammatory mediator TNF-αwere determined in control and monosodium urate crystal-induced mice.In addition,the levels ofβ-glucuronidase and lactate dehydrogenase were also measured in monosodium urate crystal-incubated polymorphonuclear leucocytes(PMNL)in vitro.Results:The activities of lysosomal enzymes,lipid peroxidation,and tumour necrosis factor-αlevels and paw volume were increased significantly in monosodium urate crystal-induced mice,whereas the activities of antioxidant status were in turn decreased.However,these changes were modulated to near normal levels upon boswellic acid administration.In vitro,boswellic acid reduced the level ofβ-glucuronidase and lactate dehydrogenase in monosodium urate crystal-incubated PMNL in concentration dependent manner when compared with control cells.Conclusions:The results obtained in this study further strengthen the anti-inflammatory/antiarthritic effect of boswellic acid,which was already well established by several investigators.Evan Prince Sabina Haridas Indu Mahaboobkhan Rasool 2012Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012,2,2:4
